Chapter 62 They're Someone!
Cassy and Drena are sort of mad at them for still going out on their dangerous mission.
I'm in Zoey's room right now, standing in front of the window looking outside when the door burst open.
"So, what's your plan Claire?" Drena immediately asked the moment she opened the door, Cassy is behind her.
"Should we follow them?" Worry is obvious in Cassy's voice. She's worried for them especially for Coby because of the bond they made. They become too close from the past few days we spent here.
"No, we'll wait." Going after them is risking their lives. That will just complicate the situation for the boys.
"Claire, It is dangerous! Won't you help them? Because we can't wait for another second knowing they're in danger!" Drena exclaimed and I can sense her fear for the boys.
"I do not interrupt other's mission." I already told you. I never interrupted others' missions but if something goes wrong it's my cue to move.
"Aren't you scared for them? For him?" Cassy asked using her soft but worried voice. While I'm still not moving at my spot.
Am I? I kill and killing is my life ever since but when I met Xenon. I did not just bring death, but I brought back a life from death. I saved. I smiled. I acted strangely. I felt strange. I'm becoming a real human...
This lifeless is going back to live again...
The question is, am I scared to lost him? Hell yeah! He's the only way to bring me back as a real human... but...
"Once a mission, it's a mission given to specific persons. And ever since, she never interrupted a mission. No matter who's in it." Zoey explained. The two looked at her with curiosity "It's a commitment in our family." She shrugged while leaning on the headboard of the bed.
"Aish! It's useless then! What should we do now!? Every passing second the more scared I am..." Drena seems like wanting to cry while Cassy is comforting her.

Drena's POV
It's been hours and my heart is pounding too fast while holding my phone. Before they leave, I told Adrian to update me on their mission.
As usual, Claire is still in her normal composition. I can't read her, but I know deep inside she's scared for them, for Xenon.
We are waiting for their call here in Zoey's room, and Claire? Well, she's not leaving the window! She's just staring in the darkest night, watching nowhere. And to think that Zoey's room is always dark! She doesn't like turning the lights on.
Suddenly, Zoey came closer towards Claire. She's from the dining maybe, well, I'm not sure because she went out earlier. This girl too is so mysterious. What family do they have to have that kind of commitment?
But it doesn't seem like they come from a holy family... they're more likely coming from war...
I saw some of Claire's abilities however it's just a glimpse of it. And Zoey, I have not yet seen any of it, however her words, her actions tell me she's been on the underground... She did not even react when she saw Claire's wounds.
She treated her like it's her daily job like it's just a normal thing to do. They are absolutely different. These two are absolutely someone... and to think that they are related... What family do they have?
I was out of my thoughts when Zoey started talking "How many of them?" She asked. How many of what?
"A dozen," Claire answered.
"A dozen of what?" I asked too curious but it seems like they're ignoring me!
"Should we kill them?" Zoey asked cracking her fingers ready to fight. I suddenly stand up.
Are they saying that... I went closer and I can sense fear from Cassy who's still sitting on the couch.
"Not yet," Claire answered. I tried taking a look outside and saw a shadow of, I'm sure a man, but it suddenly disappeared! It's like they're hiding outside!
My hair strand seems to stand up because of fear for a sudden. How did they know someone's outside!? And she even knows the numbers!? Is that why she never lost sight of watching the outside!? But if I looked at Claire, she's not watching below, she's looking straight, beyond space...
"Since when they're out there!?" My voice was low but still in shock.
"2 days ago," Claire answered.
"2 days ago!?" Cassy and I exclaimed. WTF!
Suddenly we heard a cracking sound at the dining. They're already inside!
Cassy went closer towards us. And I ready myself. They waited for a moment that the boys are out to catch us!
But I can't sense fear from Claire and Zoey... They're too calm! "Aren't you afraid? We might die tonight." Cassy whispered in fear to the two.
"The only people to die tonight, are them." Zoey smirked "They made the worst decision of their life." She continued grinning. While Claire seems to be blank. As usual.
"Whatever happens don't move," Claire ordered using her plain voice.
Told you! They're someone!
"All in," Claire stated. Suddenly all the lights from the house shut down. How did I know? I see nothing! The little rays of lights we had earlier, disappeared!
Cassy immediately holds my hand. Then I heard a little shuffling from Zoey's door. I tried reaching for Claire and Zoey but I can't reach them. They were just here earlier! How come I can't reach them?
I wanted to call them but what if the enemy will hear us? Claire said not to move so we stayed. I didn't felt them moved earlier. So they might just be here.
All I heard are just shuffling from the house outside Zoey's room. I'm preparing myself for anyone who dared to open the door.
A few minutes later everything stopped, I didn't hear anything... Suddenly, the lights turned on, because the little rays of lights are back. I looked for the two but, they're not here!?
