Chapter 76 Basement

Drena's POV

Claire is the heiress of the dark world... it is so hard to believe. What did they do to my friend? I've been crying the whole time thinking of the possibilities on how she became like this... So ruthless.

She looks like an innocent angel but earlier she was like a person without a heart, she seems craving... craving to kill. She was a... no!

Whoever did this to her are the real monsters. I'm so furious, they are evil! What will happen if Xenon finds out about this? He will definitely be furious...

Too many surprises just happened today, what could be more surprising?

We are walking in the hallway of this old building, I think we're on the third floor. "You'll be meeting Uno." Claire answered Cassy.

"Ahhh! Oh my gosh!" She screams excitedly and I laughed. "So childish Cassy."

The moment we reached the stairs. I saw Claire smirked while looking down below "You're late."

"I'm sorry, I got a load of traffic." I immediately looked at the person who just talked downstairs and saw her walking towards us smiling sweetly while holding two bloodied swords in both hands.

Cassy and I gasped "You!?" we asked in surprise while stepping down the stairs.

It is the nerd Claire just bumped earlier! What is she doing here!?!? How did she even get here!?

"Why are you here? It is dangerous, you should not be here!" Cassy said in worry but I poked her.

"Look at her," I whispered while pointing at the nerd.

She's still wearing her big eyeglasses but her uniform has stains of blood and... she's holding two bloodied swords in both hands! What the hell is happening in the world!?!?

She stopped in front of Claire "I thought you wouldn't notice me. I really had to make Daniela beat me up to get your attention." The nerd said softly towards Claire while smiling innocently.

She's so cute! Too innocent! But her looks today says otherwise! -wait. Does she mean that the incident in the restaurant before is just her set up to get Claire's attention!?!? Who the fuc* is this nerd!?!?

"Tch. Where did you put my phone?" Phone? She was just holding it earlier. Ours got stolen by the kidnappers... I thought hers too.

"I hide it under the bushes." She said smiling nervously. How did she have Claire's phone!?!? I'm going cra- oh yeah! They bumped at each other earlier!!

"Wait! I'm going insane! How did you get here?" Cassy asked still in surprise.

She played with the strands of her hair "Ahm, Clai- wait can I call you Claire too?" She asked looking at Claire with puppy eyes. Oww so cute!! Aish!

Claire nodded and the nerd looked at us again "Claire gave me a letter earlier stating follow you." So bumping at each other earlier isn't an accident but it was intentional! "Btw, I'm Stella." She smiled sweetly. She's so sweet!

"I'm Drena and this is Cassy." I pointed at Cassy still wearing my confused look.

"Nice meeting you." Cassy smiled.

"Nice to meet you too, it is a great privilege to meet the friends of the heiress." She said softly. She knew Claire is the Silencer!

Claire walked once again and we followed her while Stella is beside her "I thought you wouldn't need us! I'm so happy you gave me that letter. It was a great privilege that our master asked for my help." Master?? 'They are working for me.' Wait-

"You're a member of Scorpio Gang!?" I asked shocked as we stepped down on the last stair. She faced me and nodded hesitantly.

"OMG! Are you Uno's friend!?!?" Cassy asked excitedly but she was ignored because Stella walked towards a distance probably to get something.

I looked around and gasped. There are arrows and slashes of swords in the men lying around here on the second floor. Blood is flowing out of their bodies...

I shivered in fear and disgust, I can barely look! "Who's with you?" I asked hardly to no one but they knew to whom.

"No one," Stella answered softly like a sweet innocent girl but fear covered me. The ruthless creature is also hiding inside her... disguised as a nerd girl. The arrows are signs that she is...

"Uno." I looked at her as she walked closer towards us, this time the two swords are hanging behind her back and she's holding a three-arrowed-archer.

She smirked, " You're smart." And Cassy's face light up in shock.

Are there more surprises ahead of us!?!? Who am I and why am I here!? I'm just nothing but an ordinary girl! However, I'm facing two deadly persons in the whole world and they are fucking legendaries!!

"Drena... wake me up please!" I slapped Cassy's face hard.

"Ouch!" We both exclaimed. My hand hurts huhu.

"Why did you slapped me that hard!?" She yelled out of anger.

"I wanna wake up too and it seems... real because my hand hurts." I pouted looking at Cassy who wear teary eyes.

"I think I put a blush on in my right cheek." She looks awful.

"I'm sorry," I said as I turned towards Claire and Stella but... they aren't here!

"Oh my gosh!" Cassy said in shock when we both stared at each other.

"Wait up!!" We yelled and run towards the stairs to the ground floor.

We reached them on the ground floor. Looking around I can still see dead people lying in their blood but what stopped me is that Claire walked in the other direction instead of on the door.

"Where are you going, Claire?" Cassy asked.

"To the basement." She plainly answered.

"Basement?" I got curious. What will she be doing in the basement and how did she know there's a basement??

We followed her, she seems like a person who's been going here often. She knows where to go! Stella is tailing us from behind looking like a real innocent nerd.

Suddenly a man popped in the crossing point of the hallway but before he fired his gun a dagger flew towards his forehead and it's coming from... Claire!? Where did she get that!? I couldn't even see it coming!

"I thought you killed them all?" Claire plainly asked.

"I-I'm sorry, I've never gone this far." She stuttered answering nervously. I'm confused! How did she become that strong and ruthless if her attitude is telling me she's weak and innocent!?

No one would ever believe she's the Uno!!
