Chapter 79 Scary

Venice Claire's POV

"No, let Uno handle it," I said emphasizing the word, Uno. I sensed Lucas stiffened.

I've been watching them since earlier... the moment Lucas have sensed her identity he turned cold. Will Xenon be the same once he discovered my identity? I want to know their limitations and how much once identity affects their relationship.

I knew from the moment I saw Uno before standing under the tree waiting for her prey while watching Lucas with emotions that only I can decipher, something is going on with them. That's why I entrusted her the safety of Lucas.

"Uno?" Xenon asked curiosity filled him. He has guessed earlier whom I meant because of Stella's weapons but he can't believe himself so he was unsure.

"I think I'm going insane! I've been keeping it since earlier. Don't tell me that this nerd is Uno." Adrian faced us while pointing at Stella who's now looking down from embarrassment.

"Watch your mouth, Adrian." Lucas threatened, his voice was hard.

"I said get out!" One of the men from the outside shouted while aiming their guns but they seem not to care.

"I'm sorry, please make things clear. Who is Uno?" Adrian asked while looking at every girl in the van. I did not answer, I was waiting for her to reveal her identity.

"I-I... I'm going out." Stella said as she prepared herself with her two swords and came closer towards the door of the van.

"No. Whether you are...- whoever you are, stay here. We're going out." Lucas hardly stated. I knew all the boys right now were still puzzled.

Xenon tried to get out of his seat but "Xenon..." I hold his hand which made him face me "please, trust me." I said lowly and shook my head signaling him not to go but just let Stella go.

I really wanted to know how things would go especially on Stella and Lucas.

I'm known as heartless, I might be using Uno but the Scorpio Gang are already mine and Uno will do anything for me. Anything.

"No Lucas. Let me handle it." This time Stella's voice was cold that made everyone stiffened except me.

I smirked secretly. I might have multiple personality disorder on the other hand... Uno is... highly bipolar.

No one knows but her gang and me. I knew it the moment I first saw her.

It seems like Lucas was glued on his spot because the Stella he knew turned the other way around. Dark and cold, so dull like a puppet.

Her face turned dark wearing no emotions as she opened the door and got out... the Uno I knew. Everyone on the van did not do anything as they seem to be muddled in shock.

This is what I've been expecting to happen, everything goes according to what I planned... I'm looking forward to the result.

I leaned on my seat and crossed my arms over my chest. A great show begins.

Lucas POV

I stiffened, everything stopped and my mind is clouded by questions. I can't even think clearly... where is the Stella I knew?

Her voice was cold as she got out of the van and the shy innocent nerd I knew turned into someone dark and cold wearing no emotions. What the fuck is happening to my girl!?

Or she is not my Stella... but the Uno...? No! I shook my head and just watched her as I was still stunned on my spot.

She walked towards them and... "I said all of you get your fucking ass out of the van!" The other man shouted at us. There are 4 men in total... how can she handle them?

"Am I not enough." She said her voice was dull.

"Don't make fun of us little girl." The man walked in front of her while grinning as he poked her head that made her face lowered to the side.

My blood boils and my hands clenched. The other men laughed at the scene but Stella was stilled. I aimed to stand up but... "Just watch," Claire said.

And I watched once again.

"I don't have time for these children. Get them out! Get rid of them as soon as possible." Another man just got out from the driver seat most probably their leader as he ordered his men.

"Children... rid...?" I freeze as my eyes widen scared of her. Her voice... she seems mad and her aura turned darker. She's scary...

Stella...

The men's eyes widen in shock at her sudden dark aura.

"What's up with you little girl? You sca-" The man in front of her said but-

"What the heck!" Adrian cursed, Drena gasped while Jenna hides her face and I sensed Xenon stiffened. Claire is as usual, cool.

I? I'm absolutely terrified!! She just cut his head! As it rolls down on the ground and all the men outside seem threatened and frightened on the scene they just saw.

"I'm not a l-little girl." She said softly as her voice broke. What the heck just happened!?!? Her aura is very light... it fucking changes in a moment! Is she...?

The men stepped back but the leader raised his gun and fired it but she- "Unbelievable." Xenon murmured. She blocked it using her swords! And the battle begins all in favor of her.

She went back on the van as nothing happened. Silence is inside, we're all stunned by the scene and we were frozen on our spot, no one dared to move except Claire who doesn't care and Stella who looks so innocent like she did nothing!

"What the hell just happened..." Adrian murmured.

"No way... Good luck dude." Xenon said in his low voice as he patted my shoulder from the back. Tch.

I looked at my side where she is sitting right now. What the hell happened to you? 'No Lucas, let me handle it.' Her voice was cold but suddenly 'I'm not a l-little girl.' She turned soft and broken. Her attitude suddenly changed...

The van once again started running.

Oh Stella, what should I do? Even from the scene I just witnessed... so brutal and ruthless... my heart still keeps on beating, it's not because of fear but the other way around...

It beats for her... reminding my love for this scary nerd girl.
