THE HATED SON
Arianna opened her eyes slowly fighting the urge to glance at her phone, she turned to the wall sobbing, no matter how hard she tried, Teddy wasn’t so easy to let go.
She kept praying he would unblock her and maybe everything can go back to normal.
Then she heard her mother’s choking cough, her eyes widened and quickly she jumped from the bed and rushed to her mom’s room.
”Mom!”
“I am fine, my medicine finished yesterday that’s why it seems like this, I am absolutely fine”.
She said trying not to cough in-between each word.
“You should have told me mom, the doctor warned about taking risks, I will go get it now”.
Then the doorbell ranged.
Arianna sighed.
“I will get the door”.
She said softly and strolled out of the room heading towards the front door.
She turned the lock and pulled the door open to see the faces of her two friends, Tianna in front and Max at the back.
“Hey baby!”
Arianna’s eyes narrowed in annoyance, she was certain her friend came to torture her, and also very sure she dragged Max into this. She needed some space but Tianna doesn't know what personal space is!
Tianna hugged her and covered her face with kisses painting Arianna’s cheeks with her red lip gloss, she bought her a banquet of flowers and quickly stuffed it into Arianna’s hand then she went into the room.
Max was standing alone now, Arianna gave him a cold stare.
“Don’t kill me, she dragged me into this, believe me I told her you need some time to yourself but well she is Tianna”.
Arianna sighed.
“Please come in Max”.
“Well thank you”.
Arianna closed the door after she put the flower on the table and walked over to where her two friends were seated.
“Tianna” Arianna’s voice came.
“Before you kill me, know that I love you baby and I want you to be happy and forget about that stuffed animal named Teddy".
“I am happy okay, you don’t have to treat me like a baby” she replied, her hands akimbo like an angry housewife.
"I know I know honey but also I know you too well to know you don't let go easily, you may be happy for your promotion but deep down you still want that idiot back".
Tianna replied and walked towards the refrigerator in search of only her knows what.
"I have my job back Tianna,now can we stop talking about Teddy".
“Also I heard that devil man is giving you a hard time at work, well the jerk was smart enough to know who the brain of the company is and decided to call you back” Tianna added in-between mouthfuls.
“Thanks guys, especially you Max” she smiled warmly and hugged them one after the other.
"Arianna! Honey!"
Her mother called from inside the room.
“Guys I will be back”.
They nodded still smiling at her, then their glance shifted with her as she walked out of the living room beaming with smiles.
Tianna drew a deep breath and turned to Max.
“I wanted to advise her to quit anyway but seeing how happy the promotion made her, I guess she can continue working for that devil”.
“Speaking of the devil, he looks like he will be a tough one,” Max replied.
“Who the hell is that, why are y’all scared of him?” Tiana snarled with a grimace.
Max brought his phone and showed her a picture of Andre.
She spit out her drink in shock. “Andre Hitler? No fucking way! Tell me you are lying”.
“Well he is our new CEO, I didn’t know at first until a coworker called to my attention, Andre Hitler bought our company, Wow! I tried to get an autograph but was scared of losing my job. Man looked so cold in person, I am sure the media did enhance his smiling pictures”.
“Tell me, is he this handsome in person? I had a crush on him, how do I apply for a job, Andre my love, He may be wicked but he is a handsome devil”.
Max shook his head.

Andre couldn't help the torture and irritation of staying in a public Restaurant and having everyone point and steal glances at him.
Clicking his finger on the table in front of him, he regretted ever coming here in the first place.
Worst of all, his picture was on the huge billboard outside, so definitely anyone that came across the bill board will have no choice but to stare or take pictures.
"Sorry I am late".
A woman's voice sounded from behind.
Andre's cold face didn't change whatsoever.
The woman sat down at the opposite seat and smiled broadly at him. She had a lot of Dark circles and bad hair hair was unkempt ,she looked like a homeless person but in all of this ,her piercing blue eyes stood out, like a crystal.
"Thank you for finally agreeing to meet with me, how are you doing honey?"
"Get straight to the point,the hell you ask me to meet you,I don't have time for sob stories".
Andre replied, trying not to look at her face.
The woman forced a smile.
"Still haven't forgiven me huh?"
Andre stood up to leave after that statement.
"I am your mother Andre!"
The woman stood to her feet and yelled.
He paused and clenched his fist in his pocket.
Then walked back to her and spoke to her face,his eyes red as he fought back tears.
"Mother?,what does that mean? Do you know what a mother is! Do you!"
He screamed as loudly as he never did in his life.
The woman panicked and sat down on her seat swimming in tears.
"That's what I thought, you sick bitch"he stated roughly.
People have started taking pictures of them.
"Mr Hitler Humilton's ex wife"someone murmured.
"No they didn't get married, she was his mistress,"Another added.
Noticing that they created a scene,he groaned inwardly and angrily threw a bundle of cash at her and left the place.
"So rude!"
"No wonder his father doesn't show him off like the second son".
As soon as he got to the car lot, his driver panicked and opened the door immediately seeing his fierce look.
He entered the car and cursed loudly, pulling his tie roughly, he took off his suit.
He brought his phone to text Unicorn then remembered he blocked her.
At times like this, he did text her and she will surely make him feel better.
He threw his head backwards, a hand on his face, breathing heavily, cursing every single minute.
