DARE TOUCH MY UNICORN
"How are you feeling?"
Evans asked softly.
"Better but...how did you..".
"The doctor, she is a friend. She told me that my brother called her to threaten some chick, it's really surprising to hear that he cared about someone so I don't blame her for exposing it to me, by the way when she said that, I only thought of you,well apart from the night I had you in my mind".
He paused to see the shock in her face,glad he wasn't disappointed.
"Why are you surprised to hear this? Has no one ever told you how beautiful you are Anna?"
He mouthed and handed the flower and teddy to her.
His voice was so smooth and soothing to hear.
Arianna flushed and looked away.
"Thanks for the compliment, but you give me way too much credit".
She took the bouquet and smelt the roses.
"They're nice thanks".
He smiled and sat down on the couch.
Arianna noticed him staring at her again just like the first day at the Hitler's.
It made her very uncomfortable and shy. He is so dreamy she couldn't help it.
"So what about..... Jasmine?"
"Oh she is good, currently undergoing treatment for her leg".
"Yeah, I remember you told me about the incident that led to that".
She sighed then gazed at the teddy bear.
It reminds her of Teddy, her once anonymous lover.
She didn't know when she smiled broadly at it then her smile vanished fast as soon as she remembered what happened between them.
"What's wrong you don't like the teddy?"Evans asked, acting concerned.
"I love him,hmm... Teddy".
Evan blinked more confused.
"What?"
"I mean the teddy bear,it just reminds me of someone".
Arianna replied and grabbed the stuffed animal nervously.
"Someone special to you?"
Evans asked.
She avoided his eye contact and nodded.
"But that's in the past by the way".
She replied slowly and put the teddy to the extreme of her bed, then forced a smile to look up at him.
"It's lovely".
Evan smiled back softly then noticed her eyes glistening with wetness.
"I apologize if the teddy triggered some emotions in you".
"No no it's fine! Really".
Arianna snapped then sighed. "Thanks for everything Evan, I have never received such sweet gifts before".
"Well many more are coming, besides what are we friends for?"
"Friends?"
Arianna replied,she didn't expect to be a friend to some icon like Evan Hitler.
Evan smirked, he stood to his feet and walked towards her.
Squatted to her height, as she was sitting on the bed.
Aurora swallowed hard, his green eyes were deep and enchanting.
She knew Evan Hitler to be a very good looking young man but from a closer view, he was not handsome or hot anymore to her, he was perfect too perfect,that she felt her body melting and heat stirring in between her laps.
He was so close that she could smell him. He smelt delicious, there's something more attractive about his aura than that of Andre's she thought.
Evan knows how to make any lady fall In Love with him as easily as ABC.
Just then a wave of shills swept through her as he lifted her chin with his thumb and stroked her lips.
She swallowed hard, he heard the sound and smiled.
Then petted her hair and his fingers ran smoothly down her hair.
"I want to be your friend Arianna, what do you say?"
Just then the door opened, Andre came back.
He stood like he had his soul knocked out of his body when he found them in that awkward position.
"He came back?"Arianna mumbled to herself not knowing what to do or say.
Andre heard a tiny voice in him telling to leave the scene or he might regret it, leave as he has always done, walk away and get over it quickly, the voice continued to warn him ,reminding him of his past experiences. Not worth it, your mother,her, your first love.
They're all the same.
His fingers clenched, shakily as he tried to control his feelings.
Evan noticed ,he smirked to himself and decided not to back off.
"What do you say..?"
Ignoring his raging step brother he asked again to the now trembling and confused Arianna, leaning even closer that their lips almost touched.
In a swift Andre rushed to throw a punch at him.
Evan didn't fight back but let himself fall down.
"Sir Andre!"Arianna yelled, holding the aching stitched side of her tummy.
Andre ignored her ,he pulled Evans up and threw another punch causing him to fall over the table.
"Stop bullying him!"
Arianna yelled again and tried to seperate them only ended up pulling Andre's suit.
The nurses ran into the room to see what's going on.
And some of the patients and visitors came to peep too, taking pictures.
That's when Andre got himself and let go of Evan.
Arianna forced her and rushed to help Evan.
"Are you okay? Your face is bleeding".
"Hey I am fine you don't have to worry about me, you should rest you need that,I am so sorry my older brother reacted this way,he is sometimes like that you know"Evan groaned, his eyes swollen and mouth bleeding.
He could feel one or two teeth loose.
"Sometimes you said? He is like that all the time!"
Arianna snapped annoyingly and helped him to the bed to sit down.
Two nurses rushed to attend to him.
"Everyone please go back to your wards and rooms please".
The nurses tried to dismiss the crowd.
Just the two security officers entered the room.
"Sir, please we will like you to leave this room".
A security guard addressed Andre, his tone showed he was scared for his life.
Andre was furious and cold enough to scare even a military man.
Andre turned to glance at Evan, who was being attended to by the nurses and then his gaze shifted to Arianna who was literally beating him up with her hate stare.
He looked away and cursed, slowly picked up his suit jacket, regretting ever coming back to her
.
"I'm such a coward".
He muttered and left the room.
Walking across the reception tongues were wagging and whisperings filled the room.
He ignored them all and got outside of the hospital.
His driver quickly opened the door, praying he wouldn't be an escape goat.
Andre entered and threw his head back ,took out a cigar to lighten but couldn't, his hand was shaking uncontrollably, he had to cry but won't dare disgrace himself furthermore.
With anger he threw the cigar out of the car, his hand on his face he tilted his head back again.
"Stop the car".
He grunted.
The driver did exactly what he said as fast as possible.
"Get out of the car go buy yourself a drink ,I will call you"he said with his eyes still closed with mouth open breathing hotly in rage and self hate.
The driver did so without any arguments.
He got out of the car and walked down the streets.
As soon as Andre opened his eyes, he yelled out every pain he sealed back there.
There were no tears but his eyes were red and puffy.
His phone rang, he looked at it, just the person he had in mind.
He picked it up and answered.
"What do you want?"
"Got into a fight with your brother again? You're trending again for a bad purpose, you know how much the netizens love Evan and loathe you, you are being roasted online for bullying your brother Andre".
"Why do you care, you choose him over me".
"Andre I learnt my lesson okay, I know you still love...".
He hung up.
