WHERE IS ARIANNA?
"Wow, I should have known you will be this insecure right from time".
Aurora said tears clouding her eyes.
Andre's eyebrows twitched at the sight of her in tears, a lot came to his mind, doubts and aggressions.
He drew a deep breath and suddenly smile broadly.
"I am the bad son, he was right, there's nothing else to say to justify my actions, let's pretend today never happened".
Andre said and picked up his jacket from where it landed after he flinged it off.
Arianna's tears dropped as she watched him made his way to the door.
"You can't do that,you can't make decisions on your own,I agreed to be your girlfriend and you are ..."
"Let's not make this more complicated Arianna, my brother loves you good, you love him good, I made you really scared back there ,I am ashamed of my stupid reaction and for my brother I have to show him he can't manipulate my feelings with a girl, I am not that weak".
"So it's all about you....do you even care about my own feelings?"
Arianna yelled ,her fists clenched angrily.
He turned and smirked.
"Why should I , not like any girl will say no to my proposal after all, you're lucky,I didn't get to see your undies before now".
Arianna brushed over her tears with her Palm, staring daringly at him.
"You...I see what you are doing, trying to make me hate you right? Don't push me Andre when I hate. I hate hard, you don't mess with my feelings".
Andre eyed her from the corner ,she was shaking and crying heavily.
"You hate hard huh, you still fragile to hate hard, maybe next time you can say that with your face dry, good night Arianna".
"You are really heartless!"
Arianna groaned loudly and walked get towards him.
"I know I am cruel,every knows that, it's a title I have"
He winked and opened the door.
"My life was better off without you!!"
Arianna shouted and slammed the door, locked the door aggressively, throwing the key to who knows where.
She heard his car's engine sound.
"I am so stupid"
She slides down the door.
"What is that noise?"
Her mother's voice sounded from upstairs.
"Arianna honey are you back?"she mouthed and strolled towards the stairway.
Arianna was sitting back to the door,face buried in-between her thighs crying herself to death.
Her mother saw her and her heart leaped, she almost broke her leg rushing down the stairs.
"My baby what happened? Are you hurt?"she asked with concern, seeing the broken table.
"It happened again mother, they took my heart and broke it again, why are we not lucky with love?"
Her Mother face went pale, she had Arianna and trained her as a single mother, had a lot of relationships because she was desperate to find a father for her daughter but they all made her their sex toy and left, she dated men to Arianna was a college student to talk to her about those men, they want nothing genuine but her body.
"Evan did that?"Arianna's mother asked softly.
She shook her head and fell into her mother's arms.
"I love him Mother, I love Teddy so much, he left and never looked back".
Unsure who teddy was, she drew a deep breath and cupped her face ,drying those tears.
"Come on let's get you to bed".
Her mother helped her up.
Andre drove back to Aurora's and saw the lights turned off after another.
His hand shook uncontrollably as he tried to pull the gear. He finally grabbed on to the wheel and drove off at high-speed.
The next day Andre entered his company only to be informed that some business partners were already waiting.
Jennifer, his secretary, ran towards him, collected his suitcase .
“Sir, they have been waiting for an hour".
She whispered hurriedly.
“You didn’t call me”.
“I sent an Email to your P.A but unfortunately she’s not here”.
Andre glanced up towards Arianna’s office.
“Take those to my office and get me the flash drive for our next design project”.
He instructed.
“Yes sir”.
Max and everyone else was tense about the Executive visitors, this will be their first cooperation in years and also Andre’s first as a CEO. They never expected them today but all the same they have no choice but put their best to work.
Andre impatiently glanced at his wrist watch waiting for Jennifer, his head aching terribly, he had no sleep last thing and didn't even know where to start with his speech.
“Boss I can’t find it”Jennifer mouthed as return to him.
“What do you mean, did you check the cabinets…”He then paused abruptly, his two fingers pressed on his eyes, a hand on his waist in frustration. He remembered the flash is in Arianna’s custody.
“Damn it” He cursed and groaned loudly.
Jennifer bent her head, trembling inwardly after his groan, the rest of his staff pretended to be seriously busy with their work.
After like a minute, Andre lifted his head, his eyes red, he said nothing but went straight to the conference room.
Jennifer followed him immediately.
Max quickly dialed Arianna’s number.
“Come on Ariana, pick your call please”.
