NO ONE SAW IT COMING

On the big screen was a video of Andre. H e staring into the camera, then wiped his face, with a sigh of exhaust and started the recording again.

He started with a smirk.

"I am not good with words that's why I made this video to be played on this day.

I... know you must think that maybe it's too sudden but the truth is...I have no patience to wait any longer Unicorn...My happiness lies in your hands and I...never thought I did feel this much alive, this human emotions,love ...to care for..and jealousy and fear of losing you...I want forever... I want you to stay by my side...when I get home tired from the annoying meetings and away from everyone else, family.

I want to kiss you beneath my arms when I woke up in the morning. I want to inhale the scent of you eachtime I close my eyes to rest".

His cheeks became pink in the video then he chuckled so softly, Arianna could tell he did it because no one was watching, he chuckled like a baby,it made her lips moved into a smile as tears clouded her eyes as she continued to watch the clip.

The room was as quiet as a grave yard, not even a pin drop was heard, everyone was had their attention captured by the clip playing.

"I messed up the last one,I have to make another video (he smiled then his face straightened again) it all started as two strangers who seek comfort to unknown lovers. And then back to starngers again,I won't forget the slap..

He rubbed his cheek.

At that moment Arianna felt butterflies in her tummy as she tried not to giggle.

"The point is I love you Arianna, so much, will you marry me?...no.. not romantic enough....Arianna I will die if you don't marry me".

Andre closed his eyes and cursed, he has never felt such embarrassment before.

Laughter filled the room for a short time then died slowly as Andre in the clip.started talking again.

"I know it's childish but I am learning how to express myself more,forgive me for making this video, and so this is the time I bring out the ring".

The clip ended.

No one said anything, all eyes switched from the big screen to Arianna,quiet but something was heard like a sound of a heart throbbing hard and loud.

Arianna felt her feet drained of every fluid that had kept them alive as she stared across the long table towards Andre,away from the numerous eyeballs staring at her.

What an embarrasing moment for Andre ,she thought , he was avoiding speaking out to her only but now he had spoken out in front of many.

As she wantee to lift her lazy leg to approach him and apologize but then...

A loud clap sounded from Max's side. But it wasn't just Max but the Manager of Chesire company.

Arianna's eyes widened at the surprising sound . They both stood up and clapped and also did others even Alecia's friends were all smiles cheering.

Except Zoey who sat beside Alecia looking lost with her jaw dropped and mouth open while Alecia was pink was red wrath.

Arianna gasped at the standing ovation and smiling faces,she didn't expect it to turn out like this instead of embarrassed.

Andre approached her same moment,as soon as he gets to her front just feets apart, Arianna started her apology.

"I am so sorry, I was so nervous I didn't look I was so stupid this is embarrassing,I ..am so.."

"It will only be embarrassing if you keep blaming yourself Arianna. Maybe it's better this way, you are worth every courage to do this.."

He knelt down on one knee.

Arianna tears speed up as if they were summonsed to flood the whole room.

"I have been carrying the ring box for days now, hoping that someday I might be man enough for you".

He spoke so gently that made her tear up more.

"Will you marry me? Just so you know I will kill myself if you say no".

He smirked.

"Is that a blackmail?"Arianna queried with a soft laughter still in tears.

"I am that desperate, you don't know how much you mean to me"he replied and chuckled, this time his eyes glistening wet.

Arianna smiled faded at that statement, not annoyed but sad..to notice the pain in his eyes, she hate to see him this hurt.

She hugged him crying.

"Marry me Teddy".

"Hey! That's my line"

Andre snapped even though her reaction gave him chills, he was glad,she found him worthy to be proposed to.

"You mean as much to me too, I just want you to know".

She sobbed.

"So it's a yes?"

His voice hide no desperation.

"Ofcourse you stuffed adorable Teddy"she replied.

Everyone in the room,cheered loudly which startled her,for the last minutes Arianna felt like she was alone with Andre in the conference room,though to the silence of their audience now getting up to see everyone staring at them made her nervous and shy.

Andre put the ring on her finger and sealed it with a kiss on her cheek to make her more comfortable seeing her all pink.

But she pulled him on to kiss him on the lips.

Max forced a smile, he was ofcourse happy but seeing my her kissing another infront of him made his gut tightened.

But whatever happened Arianna looked indeed Inlove with Andre, who wouldn't,he is a fine man and very rich too,a typical dream man of every young woman,he thought.

Alecia released her fingers she had tightened into fist watching the whole live action telenovela.

She got up from the seat,as she exchanged glances with Andre. The she stormed angrily out of the room and headed to the employees restroom.

There she leaned to hold on the sink inorder not to collapse as she had ran out of breath.

"That spoilt brat,how dare he embarrass me like that, replacing me with a thing like her... Arianna the weirdo girl from no where".

She angrily brush off the bangs falling over her eyes then pull out hr phone from her pants pocket.

"I have had enough of Andre's drama ,this is just him trying to get me jealous for breaking his tiny heart and cheating on him with his brother".

She thought to herself.

The reciever answered after the second trial.

"Let me guess you found out about your real position in his life?"

"You're right Evan, I can't talk right now,I am so mad I can do something I will regret thereafter,I am ready to go by any rules you may have as long as I claimed back what is mine".

Evans cracked up into a mocking laughter.

"The hell are you laughing at"she barked furiously, hating herself for ever involving in to something romantic with him in the past, he looked like an angel but a devil nothing Andre could ever be close to, it was the worst relationship ever.

"Look at you ,you little shameless bimbo now you need my help, very well as long as you can be useful in destroying that brat's new found peace and happiness,I can manage, I will let yo know when it's time"

He stated and hung up.

"Son of a bitch, how dare he hung up on me, arrrgh! Two bloody fools".

She yelled into the phone and put it down angrily staring at her refection like a villian would do after a failed mission.
