TIANNA'S CONFESSION
"You dare not touch me Max'' Tianna warned furiously with her hair messy all over her face.
"Sorry ma'am!"
Max replied tartly with both hands lifted up in the air in a surrender then he turned to Arianna and shrugged.
"Sorry but I can't deal with her, you heard her, she will kill me on our way home".
Arianna smiled softly,next look at Tianna, she laid her upper body on the table snoring heavily, her head resting on her arm as a support.
"Well she is asleep now, I am sure you won't have any problem dealing with her anymore".
Max sighed deeply, Arianna was persistent about him taking Tianna home.
"Alright I will try".
"Thanks Max"Arianna replied delightfully with a warm smile and watched as he picked drunk Tianna up from the car like a feather and carried her in his arms heading to the parking lot where his car was parked.
"Arianna!"
Tianna called out after realizing she was being carried away.
"I am right behind you honey!"
Arianna shouted back.
It was a lie of course, she was still sitting next to Andre resting her head on his super comfortable chest as he caressed her shoulder.
The scent of him never ceases to make her feel like staying close to him forever, he smells so good every sec, it's something she's getting addicted to and sniffing all over him.
After Max had placed Tianna carefully on the car seat, he returned to the table.
"Well I will be leaving now, good luck"he told Arianna.
Arianna smiled back.
"Thanks for everything Max,"She replied.
Max nodded readily then he glanced at Andre.
"You take good care of her...sir".
"It's my priority, also I think you should address me by my name outside the company"Andre replied.
"Noted".
Max replied and walked back to the car lot.
As soon as he entered the car, he took a deep breath with his eyes closed.
"Bullshit"he cursed and then started to engine.
There's nothing that bothered him more than seeing Arianna as another man's woman. It will never be the same anymore, their friendship is just standing on a sinking ground.
They had no time together again, all he could do was tagalong.
He can't stand to see her wrapped around another man's arms, being kissed by another man or even imagine her in another man's bed.
Yes he is happy she made her choice but still it's not so easy to get over.
He loved this woman.
A hiss escaped from his clenched teeth.
"He is young, attractive and rich, of course she will choose him over me".
"So you are jealous,but pretend to have moved on".
Tianna cuts in with a drunk laughter.
It startled Max because he thought she was deep asleep. Also, he didn't mean to say those last words out loud.
He blinked and glanced at her from his side-eyed view.
"I thought you were man enough to let her go so easily,"she concluded.
"You will never understand how it feels,it hurts Tianna, you think it's so easy to let go of someone you held dearly to your heart"Max replied roughly as he shifted his gaze back on the road trail.
Slowly the drunk smile on Tianna's lips disappeared and she dropped.
"At Least she noticed you, you were given a chance to confess to her,you are better off".
She said as a frown emerged on her brows,she looked away from Max towards her side window and pressed her shivering lips together to control her emotions.
Max however noticed that he was really curious and dying to ask her about what she meant by he was better off,but then it was really nothing to do with him, none of his business, Tianna isn't someone interesting to him to inquire more about her.
All he knew was that her name is Tianna and a friend of Arianna, the woman he loved.
A crazy personality,so crazy that sometimes he wondered how Arianna managed to have her as not just a friend but best friend. He likes and associates with personalities like Arianna so on a normal day he never dreamed of being in the same place with someone like Tianna.
The only connection between the duo is Arianna, she is like a bridge.
Ever since Arianna introduced him to Tianna the only time he did meet her was if Arianna was involved,if he calls her,it would be because only she can talk to Arianna and force her to speak up. Even though it was the same for Tianna, he sometimes felt like she needed an excuse just to pair him up with Arianna.
That's one thing he liked about her, she totally shipped Arianna with him.
Do you have someone you love Tianna?"he finally asked.
Tianna chuckled and sniffed loudly that Max grimaced.
"What I felt for him is more than just love,but I will be the last person he did ever want to date".
She chuckled and brushed off her wet cheeks with her palms.
Even behind that laughter,Max could feel her melting down with pain.
"Don't say that Tianna, you can never be so sure after all you never asked, I mean what man won't want to date a jovial, funny and beautiful laziness like you".
Tianna bowed her head and burst into the most embarrassing laughter Max has ever experienced,like she saw through his lies.
She flipped her hair back and pushed her bangs to the back of her ear.
"Aww that's so sweet of you Max,you really think so?"
Max didn't expect that reply after the embarrassing laughter but he understood she might have been under the alcohol influence, and hopefully she won't remember any of this.
"Is this man some kind of celebrity?''Max asked, Tianna would always gush about hot make idols,so he guessed she was being a crazy fangirl by not being noticed by her celebrity crush.
She didn't reply.
"It doesn't matter anyway all you have to do is to confess to him who knows maybe he feels the same way".
She slowly turned to face him.
"But I already did".
"When?"
Max replied, thinking that he must have missed that part.
"About 2 minutes ago".
