INTIMIDATION

A knock sounded at the door, Tianna was going through her mail box scrolling when the knock interrupted again.

"Who is there? Hold it"

She groaned lowly and forced herself up from the couch before heading towards the door.

She opened the door and found Arianna smiling broadly.

"Okay there's some good news shining on that face ,come over here".

She pulled her in and slammed the door as the two headed to the coach and settled.

Tianna started impatiently.

"So ..tell me what happened, I am so impatient I want to hear everything".

Arianna cheeks burnt ,she pulled the strand of hair from her face to the back of her ear shyly.

"Well I did it, he seem to enjoy it"

"What.do you mean..oh..the......"

Tianna paused and demonstrated by cupping her hand and bringing it up and down her mouth as if she was having a cough and nodding her head.

Arianna screamed at the demonstration covering her face.

"Tianna what the hell, ,I am so embarrassed right now".

"You slut! I thought you will never learn it so fast!"Tianna snapped then she leaned backwards and looked at Arianna as though she was seeing her for the first time.

"Who are you? What did you do to my innocent friend".

Arianna rolled her eyes and laughed, cheeks burning.

"Now you gotta stop being shy like that, it's annoying"Tianna added with a smirk.

"Working on it, it's really hard.."

But before she could finish, Tianna cuts in abruptly, making her startled.

"Stop! Don't move"

"What ... what happened,is it a spider?"Arianna frozed as the only part of her body moving was her eyes ,secretly searching for any insect.

Spider was the only one that came to mind, she has phobias for the six legged web monster.

"Girl you look Preggy ,you smell Preggy, look I don't know what happened back there but he shot it and it's manifesting no wonder you can't walk well".

Arianna laughed but little nervous.

"Stop kidding! I can walk well".

Tianna shook her head

"But I am not I am saying the truth,I know when someone's Preggy".

"Well I can't get Preggy overnight.....can I?"

Her face suddenly turned pale with nervousness as she said the last two words.

Tianna tried not to laugh, she frowned tightly.

"But this isn't the first time so you are not on the safer side, congrats bestie, anyway I will get you some fruits you need it".

She told up.

Arianna also jumped from the couch and followed her nagging.

"You are serious! What am I going to do Tianna? how can I be pregnant I was a virgin!"

"Was....... even Mary got pregnant by just being in an holy relationship!"

Tianna snapped back and entered the kitchen.

She went to the refrigerator to get the fruits.

Arianna hear raced more, she felt a slight ache in her abdomen and her eyes widened.

"I think the baby kicked Tianna! I am scared I don't want to end you like my mother,I don't want to bring a baby into the world without a father"

She shook Tianna shoulder and begged.

Tianna dropped the fruit she was holding on a try and turned to her.

"Enough already you are engaged so all you have to do is make him fix a date fast".

"Okay he already asked me of a date, when should I say?"

"Wait he did that means he is ready?"

"Yes I think so..."Arianna replied, not excited as Tianna expected.

"What's with that face,ain't you ready to be a wife?"

"I am ...but I wanted him to reconcile with his mother and family".

Tianna dropped the apple she was cutting and turned to her with a hand on her waist.

"Are you kidding me which of his mother and family, those ones that hurt him, look he wants you and only you don't you spoil things for him and for the record you ain't Preggy, now you can chill".

"Oh Tianna you klown!"Ariannna gasped in relief and hit her best friend on the butt.

"But..but... there's a chance you might be, I can perceive it".

"Can you perceive your annoyance because I can"Arianna replied tartly.

Tianna pouted angrily.

"Very well best friend don't say I didn't warn you, another shot from his arsenal you gonna make it two pregnancies at a go"

"That's not even a thing".

"Says who,it is".

Tianna said getting a bottle of wine from the refrigerator.

"Come on Tianna I am not a kid"Arianna laughed.

"Tianna what's with the noise?"

Mrs Gina voice bellowed from the dining room before she entered the kitchen.

"Oh you are here ,my love"

She said softly seeing Arianna.

"Hello Mrs Gina".

Arianna hugged her and planted a kiss on both cheeks.

"I thought my daughter got drunk again"

She explained and gave Tianna a dreadful stare.

Tianna poured herself a drink unbothered.

Arianna chuckled and shook her head at the personality of the duo.

"Wait is that an engagement ring on your finger?"

Mrs Gina said in excitement, sighting the diamond piece on Arianna's finger.

Arianna smiled shyly and nodded.

"You see Tianna it's not about dating every dick and Tom ,who would believe Arianna will got engaged so fast".

"Well she isn't innocent Arianna anymore".

Tianna replied and took a sip of her some like a boss lady.

"Who cares you are not innocent too but you have refused to get yourself a promising suitor, all you want is an unserious relationship, sometimes I wonder if I gave birth to you or you got switched at birth".

"I am not ready for some mummy and daddy shit, please let me be".

Tianna snapped in frustration and left the kitchen angrily.

Arianna could tell she was really upset, she turned to Tianna's mom.

"Mrs Gina..."

But she put up a hand and stopped Arianna.

"I know I was hard on her, but it's too late,I was the quiet and soft mother that gave her a big freedom as a teen girl hence her rotten lifestyle,but I really wanted her to change and fall Inlove genuinely I wanted nothing but my daughter's happiness and successful future".

Arianna smiled and hugged her.

"I understand, I am sure she will at the right time, love isn't forced don't worry I will go talk to her".

She released Mrs Gina from the hug and carried the tray of fruits to the sitting room.

She went and sat with Tianna offered her an apple.

"Your mother is only trying to help you Tianna".

"Help me by comparing me to you?"

"That's not true, she just wanted you to be happy and ...

"Married, at this point she don't even care if I got married to an ape, she just want me to be fucking married".

"And responsible...Tianna let's be honest, she gave you lots of freedom I never had as a teen but you took it the wrong way, do you ever think of falling Inlove?"

"Like the romance novel I read yesterday, yeah yeah it's a nice fantasy, I am not into fantasies".

"You don't believe in love?"Arianna said so lowly it almost sounded as a whisper.

"Look girl I don't want you to have doubts but love isn't for me okay,the only person who genuinely loved you is yourself, love is the definition of fake when it comes to another person especially the opposite sex at the end of the day, it sumed up to lust, he wanted to taste you and you find him attractive enough to get laid by him boom you got married and have children".

Arianna was silent for a longer time before she finally defended herself.

"What I felt for Andre is much more, I hope you find someone too".

Tianna scuffed and smiled broadly at her, without saying it out.
