Four Years Later.

"Mummy wake up!"

"Please allow me to sleep Amir" she groaned.

"No mummy,Uncle Yusuf promised to take us out today and we need to be ready before he arrives"

"It's still in the morning,allow me to get enough of rest that I needed"

"Really? Okay then, I'll leave"

"Just go" she mumbled as she go back to her sleep, unknown to her that her son is planning a devious plan already.

Just as Zuwairah thought she could now enjoy her sleep she felt small two hands tickling her. Her son knows that she's ticklish and that's what he used to do to make her dance to his tone.

"You this....sm..small..dev...devil!" She squeal.

"Are you ready to stand up or what?" He asked as he kept tickling her.

"Fine! Fineeee... I'm up champ man!" She screamed.

"Good mummy!" He smiled and stopped.

"You naught boy! Come here!" She said with an attempt to revenge on him but he quickly get off the bed and ran out of the room.

"I love you mummy!"

"I love you too champ" Zuwairah replied.

"Naught boy" she muttered to her self. Sometimes her son act more than his age,at times she do wonder if he's truly a four old boy. Four years ago Zuwairah went through alot even after giving birth to her son. Two weeks after his birth, she had to go for another surgery when she started complaining of stomach pain. They came to realise that a piece of tissue was left there.

Six months after the operation,she got better. Her family decide to come stay with her for sometime. They spent almost a year with her. Few month later after Zuwairah had gotten her strength back, her parents fixed the wedding date for Yusuf and Yasmeen. And presently, the two are happily married and Zuwairah was so happy for the two of them.

"Amir you don't play around,this is a boutique not a playing group" she scold her son.

"But Mom I want to, I love this place"

"Mummy what's there?" He pointed as he attempt to run away from his mom.

"Amir come here!" She run after him. He almost fell as two strong arm pull him up immediately "Hey! Watch out champ" the guy said.

"Thank you but only my mom can call me Champ" he replied and look up at the person who just save him and everything became silent. It just like the world has come to a stop for the both of them. Amir couldn't take his eyes off him and he also can't take his eyes off Amir too. To him,the resemblance is too much,just like when he was a kid.

"D..Dad?" He asked.

"Dad?" He smiled and his son smiled too.

"I told you to always watch out but you don't listen!" She said moving closer to him but stopped on her track as her face came in contact with her husband.

"Zu.. Zuwairah?"

"What have I told you? Don't talk to strangers and here you're doing it. I will deal with you once we reach home.. come on let go" she took hold of his hand and start dragging him away. Yusuf spot her from a far and he start running towards her.

"But Mummy,that's daddy" he tried to take his hand off from his mother but she clasped her hand tightly around his hand.

"Mummy leave me, I want to see my daddy"he said crying.

"You won't see him coz he's not your Dad"

"But you showed me his picture and told me he's my Dad"

"Not anymore"

"Zuwairah wait! Where are you going? We're not done with the shopping?"

"Yusuf please take us out of here right now please" she panicky said.

"Okay fine, I'll but please just calm down"

"Mummy I want to see my Daddy"

"Shut up! Shut your mouth! You don't have a father! He's not your father!"

"But mummy you once showed his picture and you told me he's my Daddy"

"Not anymore. Amir, don't let me pass my aggressive side on you. Leave my sight...NOW!!!"

How dare him! How dare him showed up again? I tried! I tried my best to forget about him! I went through a lot just because of him! And just when I'm at the verge of succeeding then he decide to show up? Wow! Wow AbdulRasheed Muhammad,you've got some nerves don't you?

I will never forgive you for what you've done to me. If you think I'll go back to you then you're a liar- wait a minute Zuwairah,he never said he wants to have anything to do with you right?

The beep of her phone brought her out from her deep thought "As salamu alaikum Dad" she said as she pick up.

"Wa alaikumu Salam my dear,how are you doing?"

"I'm fine sir..and you?"

"Fine too and not too fine again"

"What happened?"

"Your Mom,she's very sick"

"What? What happened? How did it happened?"

"She just keep asking after you,that she wants to see you"

"O...Okay Dad,I'll be on my way there...right away. Have you taken her to the hospital?"

"Yes but she's now receiving her treatment at home"

"Okay,I and Amir will be there soon"

"Okay my dear. Wish you safe journey"

Four Hours later.

"As salamu alaikum"

"Wa alaikumu salam..sis you're back?"

"Yeah,where is Mom and Dad?"

"They are inside,you can go meet them" she nudge her to go inside and she did.

"Hey there champ man,don't I deserve a hug?" She said and he move closer to her and hug her tightly.

"Hey champ, what happened? No more No one can call me champ except my mummy today?"

"Yes"

"Why?"

"Because I'm angry with mummy?"

"Coz she didn't let you talk to your Dad?"

"How did you know?"

"Coz your Dad is already inside Champ,he waiting for you"

"Really?!!! Daddy......" He squeal as he ran inside.

"Daddy!!" He squeal and ran towards him. For the first time in Rasheed's life,he felt happy,he feel on top of the world. He never imagined that he has a son who is as grown as this.

"I'm sorry son,I'm truly sorry..please forgive me,I'm sorry for not being there for you,I'm sorry please forgive me"

"Daddy why are you begging me? Mom said you travelled,that it's very important for you to travel but you'll be back soon and now you're here...so stop crying" he said using his two hands to wipe his tears.

"Did..did your Mom actually told you all of this?" He asked and he nod his head.

He took his eyes off his son and direct it towards his wife, she's already in tears,all of her eyes are red. She knew he would be happy if he knows that he has a child but why didn't he listen to her then? Why? If he had given her the chance may be all of this wouldn't have happened? But he didn't, he never gave me the chance but now? Does he want us to be back together? And my parent how could they decieve me and made me come all the way here just because of him.

"Zuwairah please, he has realise his mistake,please forgive him" her Mom said.

"But Mom,I thought Dad said you were sick"

"I'm not my daughter,we had to make you come here so you could settle things with your husband" she replied.

"But have you forgotten all what he has done to me?"

"No my dear,and it wasn't actually his fault. Your husband was charmed,he didn't know what he was doing then. We're sorry we kept it away from you,we came to know the truth two weeks after you gave birth but we didn't let him come to your place at Kaduna coz we want you have enough of time to heal, that's why my dear..please forgive him"

"Mom! Dad!" Not her parents but her husband's parent. She ran to them and engulfed them into a tight hug.

"We missed you dear"

"I missed you all" she said in tears.

"Amir,come here"

"This is Grandpa and Grandma. Greet them"

"But Mom I have Grandpa and Grandma already"

"That's my Mom and Dad, but now they are you Dad's parent"

"Really?! Now I have two Grandpa and Grandma?"

"Yes son..come give me a hug" she stretch out her hand for him.

After a while they pull away and faced Zuwairah "Zuwairah please forgive my son please,it wasn't his fault please"

"Mom I really went through a lot"

"I know my dear,please"
