BLAKE'S POV

A gentle groan escaped my lips as I was stirred awake by the radiant morning sunlight filtering through the open blinds in the room. I rubbed my eyes and shifted my gaze towards the alarm clock on the bedside table. A sigh of relief escaped me as I noted that the time was a mere thirty minutes past seven, granting me an additional half-hour to prepare before my first class of the day.

Glancing downward, I discovered my unclothed state, with garments haphazardly strewn across the floor. It was then that the recollection of the previous night's encounter with a woman I had met at the bar surfaced. What was her name again? Ah, Sandra. While she displayed considerable prowess in the bedroom, it doesn't necessarily translate to me harboring feelings of liking or attraction towards her.

Stepping out of bed, I made my way into the bathroom nakedly. Seizing the toothbrush, I applied toothpaste and commenced brushing while fixating on my reflection in the bathroom mirror. Thoughts meandered to Bella, and my anticipation for tomorrow's party heightened. The thought of finally realizing my long-held desire of being intimate with a mate loomed ahead. I could only hope that the intimacy with my mate would surpass the pleasures experienced with a casual acquaintance.

Entering the shower, I adeptly activated the water flow, treating myself to a cool and invigorating bath. Gracefully emerging from the bathroom in my naked state a few minutes later, I proceeded to retrieve my towel and meticulously dried my body. Amid this routine, my attention was captivated by a conspicuous piece of paper resting on the bedside table. I arched my brows in confusion as I gazed at the piece of paper while drying my body.

Throwing the towel on the bed, I sauntered towards the bedside table and picked up the note. I glanced quickly through the note and discovered it was written by Sandra. At first, I wanted to throw the note away, but on a second thought, I decided to read it whether it might be something sensible.

"Good morning, professor Blake. Trust you had a great night because I did. Last night was the best night of my life, and I hope we can have more of it. Have a nice day. Sandra."

Upon completing the reading, I emitted a derisive sound, discarding the note with a dismissive gesture. Moving to my closet, I unveiled an array of neatly arranged expensive shirts and trousers. My tailoring choice for the day comprised a pair of blue ripped jeans and a white striped shirt. With a decisive closure of the closet, I proceeded to attire myself.

I neatly groomed my hair, adorning myself with a sophisticated wristwatch. Subsequently, I wore a pair of white sneakers before securing my essentials – a sleek suitcase and a well-stocked wallet. Purposefully, I walked out of the bedroom to the living room, nonchalantly placing my suitcase on the soft surface of the living room couch.After that, I went to the kitchen to make a quick breakfast.

In the kitchen, I boiled a little amount of water and made a cup of coffee. As I stood in my kitchen, the aroma of freshly brewed coffee filling the air, I couldn't resist the simple pleasure of making toast. I reached for a couple of slices of my favorite bread, the one with just the right amount of grains.

With a slight anticipation, I slid the bread into the toaster, adjusting the browning setting to match my craving for that perfect golden hue. The toaster hummed to life, and I could almost hear the sizzle as the elements worked their magic on the bread.

As the kitchen filled with the rhythmic ticking of the toaster, I found myself eagerly waiting for that moment of transformation. The anticipation built up, and just when I thought I couldn't wait any longer, the toaster triumphantly popped the golden slices up into the air.

Carefully, I grabbed the slices, the warmth radiating through my fingers. The crispiness under my touch hinted at the delightful crunch that awaited with each bite. I couldn't resist but spread a generous layer of butter on the warm toast, watching it melt and merge with the grains.

With a satisfying crunch, I bit into the toast, savoring the perfect blend of warmth, crunch, and buttery goodness. Savoring the delightful combination of warm toast and rich coffee, I relished the flavors dancing on my palate. The morning routine had become a ritual, a comforting start to the day. With each sip and bite, I felt a sense of readiness for what lay ahead.

Leaving the kitchen behind, I walked into the living room, the aroma of coffee lingering in the air. The morning sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting a gentle glow on the surroundings. I spotted my suitcase by the couch, a silent reminder of the journey awaiting me.

With purposeful steps, I picked up the suitcase, its weight familiar in my hand. The living room, adorned with memories and familiar furniture, seemed to wish me well on my endeavors. As I walked towards the door, I took one last glance around, mentally capturing the essence of home.

Turning the key in the lock, I closed the door behind me, the familiar click signaling the beginning of a new chapter. The morning air was crisp as I descended the steps, the world awakening to a new day. The car in the driveway awaited, a reliable companion ready to carry me forward.

Sliding into the driver's seat, I started the engine, the hum signaling readiness. The gears shifted smoothly as I navigated through familiar streets, the city awakening to the rhythm of daily life. The drive to Briarwood University took nothing less than thirty minutes.

The campus came into view, the sprawling grounds welcoming me with a sense of possibility. Finding a parking spot, I parked the car and gathered my belongings. Stepping out, I took a moment to appreciate the campus's beauty, the academic buildings standing tall against the backdrop of a clear sky.

With purposeful strides, I walked towards the university entrance, a blend of excitement and determination propelling me forward. As I entered the academic realm, I was greeted by lots of female students who either wanted to have a nightstand with me or be my girlfriend. I winked at some of them as I continued walking to my office. Some of them were humans while others were she-wolves.

Heading to my office, I spotted Bella and a lady approaching. They chatted animatedly as they walked in my direction. My eyes widened in shock when I realized the lady was Sandra, with whom I had an intimate encounter the night before.

"Why is Sandra with Bella? Are they friends? If they are, Sandra must have spilled the beans about our encounter last night!" My heart raced at the idea of Bella discovering my intimate liaison with her friend. If she found out, my chances of fulfilling my desire with Bella would vanish.

"Good morning, professor Blake," a feminine voice jolted me out of my thoughts, and I almost flinched when I saw Bella and Sandra standing in front of me.

"Um, good morning, Bella, Sandra," I stammered, suddenly nervous.

Bella, sounding surprised, questioned, "You already know Sandra?" Regret washed over me as I bit my lip, realizing I shouldn't have mentioned Sandra's name. Now, Bella might suspect a connection between Sandra and me, raising suspicions about our shared history.

"Yeah, I do," I replied, my nerves betraying a fragile smile.

"Well, that's good because Sandra just shared something about you a few minutes ago," Bella stated, her expression shifting abruptly to a seriousness that made my heart skip a beat.

Did Sandra really spill the details of our previous night's encounter?

As this question echoed in my mind, I stole a glance at Sandra, who sported a smirk on her lips. Returning my attention to Bella, I cautiously inquired, "And what did Sandra tell you about me?" My voice oozed curiosity, but I masked it with a hint of nonchalance.

Bella moved a bit closer to me, her response lingering in the charged air. "Sandra revealed something quite displeasing, and I'd like to confirm if it's true or not."

An anxious gulp escaped me upon hearing those words.
