Blake's POV

The knock echoed through the room, messing with the lingering feelings of pleasure. When I lifted my head from Bella's honeypot, my eyes focused on her face for a moment before moving to the closed door. A bunch of questions popped up in my head. Who could be knocking right now? Did that person hear her loud moans, or was it just bad timing?

The room's vibe changed from being all romantic to kinda tense. Bella sat up in the desk, and there were a bunch of questions in the air, mixing with the leftover noise from the unexpected knock. The door stayed shut, making the suspense even more intense.

The worry about someone catching Bella in my office, especially with the locked door, got stronger with every second. The room got heavy with unsaid stuff, and thinking about what might come next was getting seriously hard.

I hesitated, feeling a bit unsure, kinda like how Bella seemed. We both sat there, quiet, stuck between the crazy moment we just had and this unexpected interruption. Bella swiftly descended from the table, hastily adjusting her disheveled black gown. The urgency of the situation was palpable. I leaned in and whispered to her, "Bella, head into the restroom. Stay there until I give you the signal."

Nodding, she moved quickly toward the restroom, her steps measured to avoid drawing attention. The door closed softly behind her, leaving me to address the aftermath of our interrupted encounter.

Grabbing a handkerchief, I wiped the remnants of our intimate exchange from the desk with a sense of urgency. The used handkerchief found a discreet spot in the wastebin, nestled among other discarded papers.

The unlocking of the door became my next priority. Approaching it with deliberate steps, I felt the satisfying click as the lock disengaged. The door swung open, revealing Sandra, Bella's friend, standing on the other side with a curious expression.

"Oh, Bella isn't in the office right now. She left a few minutes ago before you arrived," I replied, deflecting any suspicion. "She must be somewhere else. Is there something specific you needed?"

Sandra seemed hesitant, still glancing around. "I was just looking for her. Maybe I'll catch her later."

I nodded, "Sure."

"Umm... there's also something I'd like us to talk about, Professor Blake," Sandra said, and I furrowed my brows at her.

"And what's that?" I asked with furrowed brows.

"Can I come in first?" she requested.

"Sure." I nodded with a forced smile, stepping aside for her to walk into the office. The moment Sandra entered, I quietly shut the door, hoping she had something reasonable to say and praying she wouldn't bring up the intimate encounter we had the previous night.

As Sandra took in the surroundings of the office, a suspicious look crossed her face. Clearing my throat, I aimed to divert her attention back to me, unsure of what she had in mind.

"Sandra, what did you want to talk about?" I inquired, cautiously steering the conversation away from potentially sensitive topics. The atmosphere in the office felt precarious, demanding careful navigation.

She hesitated, her eyes scanning the room before settling on me. "It's about Bella. I've noticed some changes in her behavior, and I wanted to check in. It's been almost an hour since she dragged you to your office, and I couldn't help but wonder why she did that. Is everything okay?"

Nodding, I maintained a composed demeanor. "I appreciate your concern, Sandra. Bella has no other intentions for dragging me to my office. She just wanted to discuss about yesterday's lecture. There were some aspects of the lecture which she didn't understand, so she wanted me to explain to her, and that was the reason why she dragged me to my office."

"Oh, By the way, Professor, have you been in your office all morning?" Sandra asked with a somewhat mischievous smirk.

A subtle alarm sounded in my mind when she asked that question. "Yes, I've been occupied with various tasks. Why do you ask?" I asked.

Her gaze lingered on the closed door. "Oh, no reason. It just seemed a bit... private in here."

I chuckled nervously, attempting to deflect. "Well, you know, professors need their private space. Now, is ther anything else you need help with because I have to leave now?"

I was silently hoping that Sandra would leave my office as soon as possible because I knew Bella could be hearing our conversation since she was in the restroom. I didn't want Bella to find out that I had sex with her best friend the previous night.

Sandra's smirk widened as she closed the distance between us. "Actually, Professor, the main reason why I came here was because I wanted us to talk about what happened between us last night, or are we just gonna forget about it?"

"Fuck!" I cursed inwardly as she brought up our own intimate encounter the previous night. I glanced at the restroom door, hoping Bella didn't hear anything. The last thing I wanted was Bella finding out that I already had sex with her best friend.

"Why do you look disturbed, professor Blake?" Sandra asked, furrowing her brows as I stared at the restroom door which was across the office.

As I was about to give Sandra a reply, the restroom door suddenly opened, and my eyes widened when I saw Bella stepping into the office with a frown on her face.

"Seems like our mate overheard your conversation with her best friend. The frown on her face means that she heard something she wasn't supposed to," Drake, my wolf, said with a mocking tone.

"Bella?" Sandra exclaimed with a surprised tone the moment she saw Bella.

"I heard you telling professor Blake that you came to his office to talk about what happened between the two of you last night. So I'd love to know what happened between the both of you." Bella said with a deep frown as she crossed her arms over her chest.

The atmosphere in the room shifted dramatically. Sandra seemed taken aback by Bella's sudden entrance, and I found myself caught in the middle of an unfolding confrontation. Drake, my wolf, whispered in my mind, "Looks like the secrets are about to spill, Professor."
