The moment I stepped inside the history lecture hall, the air around me suddenly changed, and I felt a strong but unfamiliar aura in the hall. This aura was so strong and magnetic, and immediately I stepped inside the hall, I gazed at the crowd seated in the hall, impatiently waiting for my arrival.

The previously bustling and noisy lecture hall had now transformed into a stillness so profound that it rivaled the tranquility of a graveyard. At the forefront, I found myself clutching my lecture notes, acutely aware of the lingering unfamiliar presence that continued to envelop the room. I had no doubt that this unfamiliar aura emanated from someone within the sea of students gathered before me.

"Blake, do you perceive it? Can you feel that aura?" A resonant voice echoed in my head, unmistakably that of Drake, my wolf.

"Yes, I feel it," I responded, my lips remaining motionless. This was our unique mode of communication as werewolves.

"I sense something more, Blake," Drake added, while I continued to stand before the students, who gazed at me intently.

"What is it that you feel?" I inquired, my curiosity intensely awakened.

"I sense that elusive connection I've yearned for over countless years. That unique attraction; that extraordinary feeling..."

"Enough with the riddles, Blake. Get to the point." I interjected firmly.

"I'm sensing the mate bond," he declared, causing my eyes to widen in astonishment.

"What? Are you saying my mate is here, in this very hall?" I asked in disbelief.

"Yes, 'our mate' is among the individuals in this hall," Blake emphasized the 'our mate' part.

My quick scan of the room led my gaze to a fair-skinned lady with brown hair, full pink lips and glasses perched on her nose – I immediately knew she was my mate.

She was a captivating figure in the lecture hall. Her skin was fair, and she had beautiful chestnut hair that flowed down to her shoulders. Behind her glasses, her eyes were a deep shade of blue, shining with intelligence. Her lips were a gentle shade of pink, and they had a slight curve that added to her charm.

She had an air of grace and dignity that made her stand out in the crowd. I was particularly taken by her, and she was so beautiful even with the eyeglasses. Unable to resist, I winked at her, and I observed her cheeks flush a delightful shade of crimson.

"Isn't she beautiful?" Blake asked, and I scoffed.

"Yeah, so?" I asked back.

"I'm happy that we've finally found our mate after all these years! Now that you've found our mate, perhaps you'll abandon your playboy lifestyle." Blake said.

"Just because I've found my mate doesn't mean I'll stop my fantastic lifestyle," I replied while walking towards the lactern. "I'm just gonna add her to the collection of ladies I'm gonna fuck and dump."

"You can't be serious, can you?" Drake asked in disbelief.

"I'm completely serious," I replied, before mentally blocking him. I then introduced myself to the class, revealing my role as their new lecturer, and commenced the lesson.

As I conducted my lecture, my mind seemed to be incessantly preoccupied with the presence of my mate in the same class as me. The mere knowledge that she was seated within the confines of the hall made me happy. Hey, don't get the wrong idea – I am not the type of werewolf who gets happy just because he found his mate. My happiness stemmed not from the mere discovery of my mate's presence, but rather from the prospect of fulfilling my fantasy of having sex with my mate.

Yes, you read that correctly. I was happy because I thought I could finally fulfill my fantasy with my mate. My friends often talked about how sex with your mate is better than with anyone else. Although, I've had experiences with various partners, both human and she-wolves, and I can say that every connection has its own unique charm.

The way my friends would go on about how amazing it was to be intimate with your own mate piqued my curiosity. I began to wonder what the experience would be like, and these thoughts evolved into fantasies of being close to my own mate. I directed the question to my mate, saying, "Young lady, could you please share your thoughts on how the Industrial Revolution affected society and the economy in the 19th century?"

The entire class seemed to shift their attention towards my mate when I directed the question her way. Expectant eyes were fixed upon her, waiting for her response. However, to my surprise, she didn't utter a word in reply. Instead, her unwavering gaze remained locked onto me, her features reflecting a mix of astonishment and fascination.

In that moment, it dawned on me that she had been staring at me throughout the lecture, completely absorbed by my presence. It became evident that she hadn't been paying attention to what I had been teaching. I couldn't help but feel a peculiar mixture of flattery and curiosity. It felt like we were caught in a connection that didn't need words, something deeper and more extraordinary than the usual interactions.

I was quite embarrassed by the fact that I was lost staring at the hot professor that I didn't hear his question. Swiftly, I rose from my seat, my chair scraping against the floor. I stammered as she addressed the lecturer, "I'm sorry, I didn't catch the question. Could you please repeat it?"

My mind was a whirlwind of desire until professor Blake's deep voice snapped me back to reality. "What's your name?" he asked, his gaze unwavering.

I stammered nervously, "It's Bella... Bella Curry." My cheeks flushed, and I felt self-conscious under his scrutiny.

Professor Blake offered a genuine smile and remarked, "Bella, those glasses look really good on you." His compliment made me blush even more, and I couldn't help but feel a flutter of excitement.

The handsome professor leaned closer, his lips near my ear, and whispered, "Meet me in my office after class, beautiful Bella." His words sent a shiver down my spine, and I could feel the weight of every student's gaze in the room, curious about the exchange between me and the alluring professor.

"Wait, did I hear him correctly, or have my ears suddenly stopped working?" I questioned, my mind filled with a whirlwind of confusion.

"Nope," Amelia, my loyal wolf, responded reassuringly. "You heard him correctly. He indeed said that you should meet him in his office after class."
