Parvati POV.

I was crying hard in ma's arms. Suddenly he roared in angry making both of us flench. He moved away cursing loudly.

Lakshmi: son where are you going at this time???

Ajith: to teach that bastard a lesson.

Lakshmi: no one will listen to us come back soon. Rich people live like they what. We can't face them. It's better than God himself pushes that dirty man. He will rot in hell for what he did for my child. Shivji had saved her today.

Ajith: but aunty........

Lakshmi: you just leave it and take care of your wife. See her state. I will prepare dinner for you guys.

Ajith: I don't want dinner. I am going out and I will have it there.

Paru: where are you going??

Ajith: I am going long drive just to clear myself and be alone.

Paru: ok be careful and drive safe. come soon.

He went away. Ma bought some food and feed me. I was happy finally ma spoke to me.

Lakshmi: you know your husband really cares for you.

Paru : ahh.

Lakshmi: he came in the morning after you went and said everything that had happened. I am happy for you both.

I was really surprised.

Paru: what he told??

Lakshmi: how you both fell in love with each other. How he was trapped in a marriage deal because of his father and stepmother. How you sat beside him in the place of a real bride.

I was still, he really cooks nice stories in mind. How can he tell like this? It's all utterly wrong but some part was true. At least he said that much of true.

I slept with ma in her room. Sleep was far away from me all my stress and tension were not leaving me to sleep. Due to crying, I slept with loneliness.

The next morning I woke up early and thought to stay here for a few days. I will ask for permission from him. I thought about where he must be. He went yesterday night and didn't come till now. Maybe he went to his house.

Lakshmi: thinking about your husband.

Paru : hmmm.

Lakshmi: Go take a bath he is coming.

I looked at her in shock.

Lakshmi: you don't look at me like that I called him. He said he is coming to have breakfast with us.

I nodded my head and went to my small room to bath.

After a few minutes, I came with brown and cream color chudidar. The towel was wrapped around my long hair. I went out did pooja and saw he was already there.

He saw me I looked away not able to meet his intense gaze. I went to the kitchen ma as already arranged everything.

Lakshmi: go call me.

I nodded my head. And went to call him.

Paru: come have breakfast.

He came with me.

Lakshmi: you both go and wash your hands.

We did as she told. And sat to have breakfast. I served him first and ma. Later I served myself and started to have.

Lakshmi: Ajith where you went yesterday??? We were worried about you.

Ajith: I had some work. Don't stress yourself.

Paru: hmm.......I want to stay here for some days.

Ajith: why so??

Paru: just like that.

Ajith: okay but come soon.

As he agreed I enjoyed my few days in my home with children. I never went in search of the job the thought only made me shiver. So I stopped thought about something alternative to earn money. All I know is teaching other than cooking or stitching. Though I work on them I don't get enough money and no one will give loans without any mortgage. Even I don't have an asset to pledge only my old Activa which never sells for even more than twenty thousand and I can't sell it when I need it most.

If I want to solve all my problems only one way is finding a job.

I was seating in the backyard of his house and thinking about what to do. I cleaned the whole house as it was full of dust by the time I finished it was evening so I sat here to time pass.

My thoughts were broken when I heard a knock on the door. Who it will be Ajith will always open the door with his key and come in. Now, who it is.

I went to open the door with a lot of fear. As I did their stood a postman. In this era do postman comes.

Paru: yes Anna.

Postman: Is Parvati Ajith lives here.

I felt goosebumps hearing my name. It sounds different now.

Paru: yes Anna it's me.

Postman: there is a letter for you. Please sign here.

He gave me a letter and signed the book he gave. He went I closed the door. And thought what could it be curiosity was killing me. I opened the letter but again somebody knocked on the door. I got irritated.

Now it was Ajith who was tired.

Ajith: I am hungry did you prepared food.

The first time he asked me. By seeing his face only I was confirmed that he was starving. I kept the letter safe below the table.

Paru: No you go and fresh up I will cook something by then.

He went to his room. He must be hungry I must cook something healthy for him. So I prepared coffee first and took some biscuits with it. He was all fresh and changed.

Paru: you have this I will prepare food by the time.

Ajith: you cleaned the house. It smells and feels good.

Paru: yes I did as I didn't have any work.

Ajith: hmm......mmmm..... Thank you.

Paru: it's ok.

I prepared paratha and chicken gravy with that, biryani and some rice. I cleaned the kitchen and went to call him wiping my hands. But he had dose out on the sofa only.

I went to him. I saw him care for the first time he looks like a baby while he is sleeping. He was snoring. Should I leave him to sleep or wake him?

I woke him as he must be hungry. But I hesitated as I don't know how to wake him as I don't want to call him by his name.

Paru: wake up.....

I shook him little he woke up soon.

Paru: come I dinner is ready.

He nodded his head and followed me. He washed his hands.

He sat on the sofa as there was no dining table.

I served him more and stood at the corner. He took the first bite and turned to me.

Ajith: don't you have with me.

Paru: No you have it I will after you.

Ajith: come I feel lonely to eat. Only if you are comfortable.

I sat next to him. He only served me. We both had our dinner in full silence. I washed the plate we dried it always watching me with his penetrating eyes. I switched off the lights and made my bed.

He was watching television.

Paru: won't you sleep.

Ajith: no I am not sleepy.

I went and sat at the extreme end of the sofa then only I remember the letter. I took it from the table. He saw me.

Ajith: what is it ??

Paru: don't know I got it in the evening.

Ajith: I opened the letter and read the content.

Only to be unconscious if not Ajith I would have died now.
