I was trying to do my office work sitting in my cabin but was unable to focus on anything. My thoughts were revolving around Sana and Maya. I hope they both were okay. I and Dominic wanted to go near them and embrace Sana in my arms. somehow we held ourselves back, wanting to give Sana the time which she asked for.

I came out of my thoughts when Max came inside and sat on my front chair angrily.

"What happened? Is Emily okay?" I asked. He was fuming in anger.

"Okay... no.. she is not okay. She is mental" He yelled.

"Bro calm down," I said and passed him a glass of water. Somehow I guessed that he fought with Emily.

"She is an idiot," Max frowned.

"Would you tell me what happened? Everything was okay when I leave your room"

"Asked this question from your mate because of whom Emily fought with me."

"Sana? What did she do?" I asked curiously.

"She hugged me in front of Emily despite knowing that my mate would get jealous seeing us together." He mumbled.

"Sana did it mistakenly," I said...

"Whatever but because of this incident… Emily starts fighting with me and now she doesn't let me touch her or baby" He wobbled like a child. I was about to burst into laughter but somehow I controlled myself.

"Everything will be fine" I mumbled. He looked at me annoyingly.

"You can laugh," he said and it was enough for me to lose control over myself. I laughed loudly then went towards him and hugged my poor brother.

"It's okay." I chuckled.

"Laugh as much as you want and then I will also laugh when your mate gets pregnant and you have to handle her mood swings." He mocked and pushed me away.

"That day is a little far but right now let me enjoy your misery" I chuckled and went outside the cabin to meet Sana Sana. I thought about going to the park and checking on her but stopped midway when I smelled her scent mixed with the smell of delicious food coming from the kitchen. I head towards the kitchen following the mouth-watering smell.

I stopped at the door of the kitchen, seeing my mate who was pouring all the food into utensils and guiding the maids to keep them on the table. She turned her head towards me, sensing my presence. I smiled and went towards her, looking into her eyes then held her hand and pulled her closer to me.

"Special dinner for me... hmm.. that means my honey is not mad at me anymore" I mumbled. She scrunched her eyebrow.

"Before also I was not angry with you"

"Maya was angry" I shrugged my shoulders.

"No... I'm also not angry with you mate. In fact, I'm sorry to react like that, and Dominic there is no need to say sorry because you did right by interrupting me in the middle before I crossed my line" Maya mind linked us.

"It's okay," Dominic mind linked her. I kissed Sana's forehead.

"Maya suggested that I should prepare dinner for Dominic. so that it will enlighten his mood." Sana mumbled, encircling her arms around my neck.

"she is lying... Maya doesn't know c about cooking" Dominic mindlink me. I chuckled seeing the smartness of my mate.

"Max came to my cabin after fighting with Emily," I said. Her eyes widened hearing me and then she started laughing nervously.

"Don't tell me you hug him intentionally in front of Emily" I said, sensing her nervousness.

"I didn't do anything" She smiled and then parted away from me. I took a relief breath.

"I knew it... You can't do something like this" I mumbled.

"I didn't do anything... It was Maya's idea. She asked me to hug Max and I did. Later I came to know what she was thinking" Sana mumbled and ran towards the dining area. I was stunned and it took me a whole minute to come out of shock. I went towards the dining area. She looked at me and then giggled seeing my reaction.

"Have a seat, hubby" She chuckled and pulled a chair for me.

"I'm still not able to believe that you can do something like this," I mumbled, sitting on a chair. She laughed at my words and then sat on the chair beside me. I mindlink Max, Emily, Irene, and Stefan to join us for dinner after seeing the quantity of food. A smile came on my face seeing her thinking about every member of my family.

Sana served food to me and then asked me to taste the food and tell her how it is. I tasted my favourite pasta and it was so delicious. I closed my eyes, enjoying the taste.

"I have no words, Sano... It's fabulous… you have an amazing taste in your hand" I mumbled, opening my eyes. I attached my lips to hers to kiss her lips passionately. She immediately responded.

We both were kissing each other passionately when someone came into the dining area and started coughing. Sana pushed me away and started serving food for herself, acting as if nothing happened. I annoyingly look to the side to see who is the villain of my story and it is no one but my great beta, Max. he smiled nervously and then sat on the front chair of mine.

Sana chuckled seeing me glaring at Max and then served for Max. After a while, Emily sat beside Max. She looked at him angrily. I turned my head towards Sana who smiled nervously and started eating her food. Irene and Stefan too joined us. I signalled a maid to serve food for everyone.

"Wow... it's delicious," Emily mumbled.

"Today's dinner is made by my Mate.. enjoy it and then thank me later because the reason you all are getting a chance to eat this delicious food is me," I said.

"No... I made food for everyone" Sana lied and showed her tongue to me. Where everyone laughed and thanked Sana for the treat. I angrily looked at Sana and then started eating my food, pretending to be angry at her. Sana hit my chest with her elbow but I didn't respond and shifted my chair a little away. Sana looked at me shockingly and immediately changed her expression seeing everyone. I wanted to see how she would persuade me.

Sana twists her lips into a smirk and then throws a spoon on the ground.

"Oops.. sorry... Alex, would you please pick that spoon for me" Sana mumbled, acting like she accidentally dropped the spoon. I ignored her and continued having my food. Sana glared at me.

"Alex, Sana requested something from you" Irene mumbled. Soon Sana changed her expression and looked at me, showing her puppy eyes. I rolled my eyes and bowed down to pick a spoon. That's when another spoon fell on the ground. Before I could pick that one, Sana bowed down and held that spoon. I turned my head towards her. Before I could say something, Sana kissed my lips and then parted away before I could respond. She sat upright and then started having her food where I was still in shock with whatever happened.

"Alex," I came out of my thoughts when Irene called me. I sat upright on a chair and looked at Sana who was having her dinner as if nothing happened.

"What happened? Why are you looking at Sana as if you see some ghost?" Emily laughed.

"I'm seeing a ghost. she can't be my innocent Sana.`` I mumbled. Sana smirked and ignored me like I hadn't said anything.

"Yeah, all mates are ghost only" Max mumbled, earning a glare from Emily. I resumed eating my food.

After having dinner, I was about to stand up when I felt one foot sensually touching my leg.

"What the" I clamped up when my eyes landed on everyone. I glare at Sana who was eating her food

"Stop it, Sana, otherwise it won't be good for you" I mindlink Sana. She looked at me confusingly.

"But what am I doing?" She asked through our mindlink and by looking at her face, I can say she had no idea about what I'm talking about. I looked around and found Max who was looking at Emily, smiling mischievously. It didn't take me long to understand that it was Max's leg. I hit on his food making him scream in pain.

"Control your legs, Beta... You're touching my foot thinking of Emily" I frowned. Everyone looked at me and Max then they all burst into laughter. I was glaring at Max who gave me an apologetic look.

"Seems like today your death is written with my hand" I mind-linked Max.

"Sorry Alpha"

I looked at Emily who was staring at Max and that's when an idea popped up in my mind.

"Emily" I called her. She turned her head towards me.

"Yes brother"

"You were not talking to Max, right?" I asked.

"Yeah" She mumbled.

"fine... don't talk to him till your delivery… It will be a good punishment for him" I said.

"What" Emily and Max shouted together, making the remaining people cover their ears with their hands.

"Yes, Emily… you were not talking to him, continue this punishment till your delivery" I shrugged my shoulders and looked at Sana who tightened her lips so as not to laugh.

"Alex, have you lost your mind?" Max mind-linked me.

"Only I know how I managed to not talk with him in this past hour. I will die if it continues till my pregnancy" Emily said holding Max's hands and I, Sana, Irene, and Stefan started laughing seeing their reaction.

"This reminds me of our childhood incident.. remember brother how Emily used to call you brother and Max by his name" Irene chuckled.

"Yes, I remember that" I laughed and looked at Sana who was listening to us carefully.

"One day, Emily's mom asked Emily why she called me brother and Max by name and when Emily didn't reply, her mother asked her to call Max as a brother," I said and Sana started laughing.

"I still remember that horrible incident of my entire life" Max mumbled.

"Max and Irene shouted and cried as Irene's mom asked her to sacrifice everything" Irene laughed

"That day we came to know that they both had feelings for each other which they are hiding in front of us" I mumbled.

"It means from childhood they have loved each other... so sweet" Sana mumbled and looked at Emily and Max. They both were looking into each other's eyes with love, maybe remembering those beautiful moments of their childhood memories.

After having our dessert, we all went out to the park for a night walk. Each couple entangled their hands with their mates while walking. After a walk, we males lay down on benches keeping our heads in the lap of our females while our mates were caressing our hair lovingly. Sana was looking at the stars and I was looking at my mate whose face is glowing in moonlight increasing her beauty.

"Since Irene 's health is not so good, the pack doctor strictly forbade her to travel," Stefan mumbled. I turned my head towards him.

"Don't worry... You can stay here as long as you want. It's Irene's house as well" I mumbled. He smiled and nodded his head.

"Since we are here then why don't we catch the culprit of our parents, Alex," Irene said. I sat upright hearing that and looked at her. Max and Stefan also sit straight, sensing the seriousness of the situation.

"Irene is right… We should find and kill that bitch who is the reason behind ex-Alpha and Luna's death" Emily mumbled.

"You mean to say, we should find Richard's wife" Sana concluded everything. I turned my head and looked at my mate who was normal with everything. I hold her hand in mine. She abruptly looked at my side and then smiled.

"Don't worry, I'm okay, and to be honest, this news didn't shock me. Richard did so much wrong to me that he had a mate didn't shock me. In fact, I'm happy that this truth came out. now my innocence will be proved and you don't have to fight with your pack members" Sana replied and I can sense that she is telling the truth. I smiled seeing the positivity in her.
