I was pissed when Alpha shouted at me. Well, I give him the reason. I should be careful with Alice. I was lost in my thoughts when someone poked into my mind and it was no one but Alex.

"Sorry, I shouldn't have behaved rudely with you," Alex mumbled

"If anyone should feel sorry then it's me, Alpha. I'm sorry for disappointing you" I replied feeling guilty for my carelessness.

"You should take care of Emily instead of boring me," He said and broke the mind link. He always does this when the conversation starts going emotional. I chuckled seeing the effect of Sana on Alex. My friend never says sorry after yelling at someone and we all know he had an anger issue. Whenever things don't go according to him, he loses his temper and he never says sorry for that but today he did.

I came out of my thoughts when I felt a hand cross around my arms and a head rest on my shoulder. I smiled and looked at my mate who was looking at me with concern.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"I'm" I mumbled.

"Lier'' She frowned and caressed my cheeks with her other hand. "I know you hate when Alpha yelled at you or when you did any mistake while doing your Beta's duty"

I didn't reply to anything because she was right. I hate to disappoint my Alpha. I'm not Beta by blood. Despite having an Alpha wolf, I chose to serve Alex as a Beta and I wanted to be perfect in this duty. I was looking at my mate when I heard Stefan's voice.

"Why are you biting your nails? Did you do something mischievous?" I turned my head towards Stefan and strangely Emily parted away from me. She stood up and sat away from me while Irene also stood up and sat beside Emily, away from Stefan.

I and Stefan look at each other clueless. I turned my head and looked at both the girls who were looking at us nervously.

"What did you guys do?" I asked.

"Swear to the baby that you won't get angry with me then only I will tell you" Emily put a condition.

"What?"

"Stefan you also promised me that you won't get angry" Irene mumbled.

"We promised you both... Now say what two of you did?" Stefan asked.

"The bottle that Alex and Maya drank from didn't just contain water. It was a mixture of water and vodka" Irene mumbled.

"What? What" I and Stefan shouted together.

"You both promised us that we won't get scolded," Emily mumbled.

"Yes we promised that but we didn't know you both could be this careless. You can't drink while you're carrying a baby" I scoffed.

"That drink was not for us but for both of you" Irene mumbled, dropping another bomb on us.

"for us?" Stefan asked.

"Yes… I and Irene planned to make you both drunk and after that, we both decided to enjoy ourselves and do whatever we wanted. Since we both became pregnant, you and Stefan started acting passive not letting us do whatever we want to. especially you Max, in these past 1.5 months you obliged me with rules that's why we planned all this thing" Emily mumbled.

"If you really feel Emily that I'm obliging you with rules then fine do whatever you want to. I will not say a thing to you" I said and stood up from my chair. I was about to go but she held my hand.

"You're taking me wrong… we just did a small prank."

"And because of your stupid prank. I have to answer Alpha tomorrow who is already pissed at me" I scoffed and went towards Alex's room to check on him whether he is okay or not.

The door of their room was open, that's why I didn't think much and stood at the door bowing my head.

"Alpha" I called him and knocked on the door. when no response came I looked up. My eyes widened seeing the scenario in front of my eyes.

"Alex" I called him shockingly... Alex was lying on the floor, talking and kissing it. In simple words, he is romancing the floor.

"Look at Sana" I turned my head and found Emily, Stefan, and Irene looking inside the room. I glare at her and then look inside the room. My eyes went to Sana. She was rolling on a bed from left to right.

"See What you both did to our Alpha and Luna?" I mumbled to Emily and held my head seeing Alex and Maya like this.

"I thought Alex would fuck Sana and they come close to each other but here Alex is romancing with the floor" Irene giggled earning a glare from me and Stefan. She immediately shut her mouth. We again looked inside the room and this time we all started laughing looking at Alex and Maya acting like children.

Irene took out her phone and started making videos. I didn't stop her because tomorrow I'm going to tease Alex by showing this video.

"Fuck" I cursed when Maya fall from bed on Alex. They both started crying like a child. Maya sat upright and looked at Alex who was crying like a toddler.

"You hit me," Alex mumbled.

"No… Because of you, I fell from the bed and got injured" Maya growled.

"Because of me... What did I do?" Alex asked. They both stopped crying. Maya indicates him to come close.

"you pulled me through mate bond" Maya whispered in Alex's ear. Where we all laughed. Maya and Alex look at our side.

"Are they making fun of us?" Maya frowned.

"Let's teach them a good lesson," Alex smirked.

"Run before it's too late" I mumbled and everyone rushed towards their room but to my bad luck, Alex caught me. The next thing which happened I can't imagine even in my horrible dreams. Alex started kissing me and then he held me through my waist then forcefully made me dance with him.

Irene was still making videos while laughing. After a struggle of a few minutes, Alex finally left me as he went unconscious. Thankfully Stefan helped me carry Alex to his room. I made him lie on the bed and covered him with a blanket.

"Where is Maya?" Stefan asked and my eyes shot up as from the moment I got busy with Alex, I didn't see her. I, Stefan, Irene, and Emily started searching for Sana in the entire house. After checking everywhere inside the villa. We all gathered in the hall. I looked at everyone and they all nodded their heads negatively.

"If she is not inside the house then where the hell did she go?" I mumbled, getting worried for Sana.

"We didn't check the pool area," Emily muttered. I rushed towards the pool which is at the back side of the Villa.

I took a relieved breath when I found Maya sitting near the pool. She was looking at her water image and her legs were dipped in water.

"Maya" I called her. She looked at my side and then smiled.

"Brother." a smile vanished from my eyes hearing brother from her. it's not like that I don't like it. I loved when she called me brother, it was just that a single word from her mouth made me feel guilty for not being with her when she needed me the most. Don't know how she will react when she comes to know about the truth. Will she hate me after knowing about the biggest lie she told her since childhood?

"Here she is" I came out of my thoughts hearing Irene's voice. I quickly wiped off my tears before anyone noticed. I went to Maya who rested her upper half body on the floor, closing her eyes. I smiled and picked her up in my arms and then took her towards Alex's room.

I made her lay beside Alex and covered her with a blanket.

"I'm sorry sister for hiding the truth from you but if the truth is so harsh then it is better to be hidden. Moreover, you are happy with your mate. I don't want the truth to ruin your happiness." I whispered in her ear and went outside the room. My eyes went to Emily who was glaring at Maya.

"Luna was right, Emily... You should have faith in my love which never part us away. I love you more than myself" I mumbled. She looked at me

"I trust you and your love, Max but I couldn't ignore the fact that Sana had a special place in your heart and anyone can say that by looking at you. I just wanted to know the reason," she said. I didn't reply to her and went towards my room. I wanted to share everything with Emily but at the same time I can't trust anyone with the truth, not even my shadow.
