"Max clear all this mess and also don't forget to check on Richard's villa and take necessary action if you find anything suspicious. I want to make sure that his chapter gets completely closed from our life" Dominic said, telling Max everything while I roamed the whole villa.

My eyes went to a room that was big compared to every room. I went inside it, there was a big photo frame of Ava and Richard hanging on the wall. The picture was probably of the time when Richard marked Ava. It reminded me of Richard's words when I asked him to mark me.

A tear rolled from my eyes, realising how foolish I was. That time instead of understanding the meaning behind his words, I felt happy that he was planning a future with me and wanted a child. I was lost in my thoughts when I felt a hand on my shoulder. I look at my side, finding Dominic staring at me. He lovingly wiped my tears.

"Do you still love him?" He asked. I can sense that he is jealous and at the same time he was upset seeing me crying.

"I never loved him, Dominic. It was just an attraction, nothing more than that." I mumbled and looked at the photo frame.

"Neither he loves me nor I do. It was just a trade. He was using me for Alpha heir and I was living with him for the fake care and concern he showed towards me and you know what the fun fact is?" I chuckled and a tear rolled from my eyes.

"I realised this truth after meeting you and Alex who taught me the real meaning of love. Alex made me realise that Richard's love was all a hoax. He was just a mere attraction and because of that I lost everything." I wiped my tears and smiled.

"After knowing the meaning of love, I can say that I love you and Alex more than anything else in this world." He smiled and kissed my lips. I didn't respond but felt his lips on mine, closing my eyes. After a while, he parted away from me and kept his hand on my cheeks.

"Are you okay?" he asked, moving his finger on my cheeks. I opened my eyes and looked at him.

"I am" I replied and looked toward Max.

"There are some important belongings of mine in Richard's villa," I mumbled.

"You want to go there?" He asked. I nod my head negatively.

"There are some things related to my mom that I bring with me while shifting to Richard's villa. I just want those things… They are kept in my" I clamped up.

"They are kept in Richard's room. If it is possible then ask someone to bring it, otherwise it's okay because I don't have the strength to go there. I can't" I mumbled. He nodded his head and looked at Max who was standing a little distance.

"Don't worry Alpha, I will bring all the belongings of Luna" He replied. Dominic turned his head towards me and then attacked his forehead with mine.

"Do you want to have a ride?" He asked playfully. My whole cheeks turned red, knowing his double-meaning words. He chuckled at my reaction and kissed my forehead.

"I'm sure, Emily must have packed a full pair of clothes. use any room and wear it. I want to give you a ride on my back."

"Okay," I smiled and went towards one of the rooms of the villa after taking a beg from Irene. Dominic entered the room before I could close the door. I raised my eyebrow. He smirked and closed the door behind him.

"What happened?" I asked, not able to understand the meaning behind his mischievous smile.

"Nothing... I thought to help you"

"In what?"

"In wearing clothes," He said. My eyes widened and my heartbeat rose, after hearing him. He was coming closer to me while I was standing still like a statue, not able to understand what to do or say I was waiting for him to take action.

"You're so beautiful," He said, locking a few strands of my hair behind my ear. I stopped breathing when he leaned toward my neck.

"Take a breath, Duchess," He said and I took a deep breath when he started kissing my neck. I closed my eyes, losing myself in his touch.

"Dominic" I moaned his name when he started opening my coat button. I was standing straight and my eyes were closed. I felt cool air touching my body and the next thing, I felt his hand on my blossom, pressing them harder.

"Dominic" I moaned and held his arms to balance myself, not able to stand on my legs. I was losing myself with his every touch. He lifted me in his arms... I immediately crossed my legs around his waist.

I rested my head over his shoulder and was about to say that I'm ready but that's when my eyes went to Richard's photo. my smile vanished from my lips and all haunted memories of my past came in front of my eyes. I closed my eyes to control my emotions and not remember anything but it got worse. "Please open your eyes" Tears rolled from my eyes as I opened my eyes and found my mate who was looking worried for me. I looked around and then at him, realising that again I had a panic attack and I misunderstood Dominic as Andrew.

"Alex," I asked to confirm. He nodded his head and snuggled me in his arms.

"Wh---where is Dominic?" I shuttered, not even able to speak properly. I was feeling guilty to react like this again. This is the second time when my mate was near me and I had a panic attack.

"Dominic and Maya were calling you continuously, so that you came into sense and when nothing worked. Dominic gave me control," He said and caressed my hair.

"Are you okay?" He asked. I look into eyes dumb-headed. I'm still not able to process anything with whatever happened. I snuggled myself in Alex's arms and enhanced his scent to calm myself.

"I'm here... Don't worry, nothing will happen to you," He said and embraced me in his arms, knowing that at this point of time, I only need him.
