My sleep broke up with the chaos around me. I opened my eyes and went dumb-headed when I saw Sana puking blood out of her mouth.

"moon goddess" I went towards her. She was looking at the floor.

"Is Maya ok?" she asked. I didn't reply and picked up the bottle that Ella gave me from the side table and made her drink water. Finally today there will be a full moon. I have to keep Maya alive until the moon shows her appearance in the sky.

"Please answer me, is Maya ok?" she asked again.

"She's not but I promise, nothing will happen to her. I and Dominic will save her" I said but seeing her expression I'm sure, she didn't trust my words.

"Please save her... I have no one except her. I lost my husband and then my child" she stopped speaking and soon her expression changed. Suddenly, she pushed me away, fuming in anger.

"you... you... you're one of the reasons behind my child's death" she stammered leaving me dumbfounded on the spot. She slapped me.

"You were the one who attacked Richard's pack?" she asked. I didn't reply or say I don't have the guts to reply to her.

"Sana" I tried to hold her hand but she stepped back.

"Max called you Alpha and you were present on the battlefield, it means you were the one who attacked my pack" a tear rolled down from her eyes. She sat on the bed, trying to adapt to reality.

"Sana, I can explain everything to you... it was my" I stopped speaking when her eyes filled with hatred, glared at me. She stood up and slapped me again.

"you can explain.. seriously... you still have the guts to say anything" She pushed me away.

"I know, I killed your husband but" before I could complete, she sat on the ground, whimpering.

"I lost my child because of you" she mumbled and kept her hand on her stomach. "my baby... I was not even ready when I came to know that I am pregnant. it was unexpected but when I realised there was a life inside my body" a smile appeared on her face with tears. I sat beside her. "I can't explain that feeling to you... I found the purpose of my life. I used to think about when my baby would come into this world, and what would I do... how will I take care of her.. every day just waiting for my baby to come into this world. The love I longed for since childhood, wanted to give it all to my child. my mother died while giving birth to me. I have no one to call Mom but I wanted to hear mother from my baby mouth but you." I could feel her pain.. she looked at me with venomous eyes.

"You took away this right from me too... if you had not attacked the pack, then today my child would have been alive.." She stood up, took the support of the bed and took out the gun from the side drawer which I gave her and pointed it at me.

"Sana" I stood up.

"I will kill you... I will kill every person who is the reason behind my child's death."

"brother" I heard Irene's voice and turned towards the door. She was standing there, with tears in her eyes. She must have listened to all the words of Sana and I'm sure like me, listening to Sana's pain was tough for her. Irene shows that she's rude but she's a kind-hearted person. She came toward Sana but she pointed a gun at Irene. I panicked and came in front of Irene. I know, Sana is not in her sense but in the agony of losing her child.

"I am your culprit... Please let Irene go" I said.

"Irene please go to your room"

"no, I will not leave you alone," Irene said, holding my arms.

"Just shut up Irene and go to your room" I scolded her but she nodded her head negatively.

"Now I'm done with both of your dramas. Now, get ready to die" Sana muttered. I couldn't even blame her because I know it was not her who pointed her gun toward me but the mother who lost her child because of me.

"I am your culprit and I'm ready for my punishment as well but wait a minute," I said and held Irene's hands and pushed her out of the room and before she could protect me, I closed the door on her face.

"brother.. brother opens the door.. please Sana leave him.. please don't hurt him please" she bangs on the door. A tear rolled down my eyes seeing her love for me. After mom and dad died we got separated. I become an asshole who always talks to her rudely but she never stops loving me. I wiped my tears and turned toward Sana, who had no expression on her face.

"Now you can give me whatever punishment you want," I mumbled. She was about to press the trigger but then didn't know from where Max came in front of me. I looked at him shockingly and Sana's expression was not different.

"Max.. open the door" Irene shouted from outside the door. Irene must be mind linked to Max, and he comes inside the room through the window... I can't believe this guy.. he went towards the door and opened it. Irene and Max's mate, Erica enter the room. seeing the gun in Sana's hand Erica panicked she immediately went towards her but Sana moved back a little.

"Don't come in between me and Alex otherwise I will shoot you all," she yelled.

"Max, Irene, Erica... Please leave us alone. It's my and Sana's matter"

"How she can point a gun towards you when you were the one who saved her life" Irene scoffed. Listening to her, Sana burst into laughter. I looked towards her, seeing her condition, tears brimmed in my eyes but somehow I controlled them. I can't see her like this.

"I wish he didn't save my life... I wish that I would have died that day with my child but to his bad luck that I'm alive. I would kill every person who is the reason behind my child's death" She yelled and again pointed his gun towards me but again Max came in front of me.

"He's my Alpha and I know he will not save himself. He will die for you willingly but as his beta, I have to protect him" he muttered. Before I could say anything to him Erica came in front of Max. What the hell is going on? Is any drama going on or what?

"I'm pregnant," Erica said... I look at Max and by looking at his expression. I'm sure even he got to know this information right now only.

"I can't even imagine the pain you go through but please... Please don't snatch his father from my child. Max would die to save his Alpha life and I can't do anything except plead with you to not harm my mate... I would die if something happened to my mate and maybe because of the pain of losing my mate, my child will also die like your unborn baby.. please have some mercy… please" Erica said, kneeling in front of Sana. she didn't say anything, just kept looking at Erica. She sat beside her and kept her hand on Erica's stomach. a tear rolled down her eyes.

"get your mate and Alpha out of my sight before I lose control over my anger. just take them away because if my mind changes then I'm sorry even your child can't save his father or his Alpha" Sana said in a cold tone. Erica wiped her tears with a smile and stood. She held Max's hand and then looked at my side.

"Alpha please let's go.. please" she requested me but I didn't bulge just kept looking at my queen

"I know you worried about her but give her some time. when she calms down we will tell her everything and she will understand it" Irene said holding my hand. "but brother please let's go from here"

"Sana," I mumbled. she looked at me with a heart in her eyes and it hurt.. hurt like hell...

"get out from here before I lose my mind and kill you" she screeched

"fine then kill me but I won't leave you alone," I said and before anyone could say I showed them my hand, indicating them not to interrupt

"Erica, if you want that I won't harm your Alpha then take him away from my vision" Sana again warned. I sat beside her and was about to wipe her tears but she shoved away my hand and turned her face towards the other side.

everything is messed up.. now I don't know how the problem will get solved between us.
