Tears welled up in my eyes thinking about Alex with a smile. I know he loves me and wants a chance from me but because of my insecurities, I messed up with everything. I had a feeling for him, he loves me then what my problem? I had to understand him as he understands me. I had to trust him. I came out of my thoughts when Irene held my hand.

"Sorry for yesterday. After leaving your room, Stefan made me realise that My behaviour with you is wrong. I should understand what you're going through and also behave a little better with you" Irene mumbled and held my hand.

"I'm sorry"

"You don't need to apologise, Irene. I can understand your point of view. He is your brother and no sister could listen to something like this for his brother"

"Yeah... It seems like you have a brother" She said and a smile vanished from my lips.

"No, I don't have anyone in this world except Alex and you" I lied and wiped tears from the corner of my eyes.

My brother never cares about me nor does he consider me his sister. if he would then he would be here now after searching for me after my husband's death. When he doesn't care about me then why should I cry remembering him?

"Are you ok?"

"Yes, I'm... Why would I not"

"My brother never drank Sana but when you didn't come. He lost himself and control over his mind and ended up drinking without thinking. He follows my father's path. He used to drink a few times earlier in college time but when my dad scolded him and stopped talking to him, he promised him that he would never drink. He despised alcohol after that day but when you didn't come, he forgot the promise he made to dad and ended up drinking alcohol to control his emotion or say to lose all sense so that he won't feel the pain of rejection. He doesn't want to accept that you rejected him." I thought to correct Irene that I didn't reject him and came to the Luna ceremony but I wanted her to complete what she wanted to say.

"All I want to say, Sana. don't repeat the same mistake which I did, Sana. Give a chance to my brother and I assure you, you will not regret" Irene said. I nodded and tears started falling from my eyes, realising my mistake. I always misunderstood him. He always tries to win my heart and move ahead a step in our relationship but I always push him away.

"Sana, what happened? why are you crying?"

"Since childhood, I have had no one in my life. That's why I don't know how to handle a relationship or to be with someone who loves you, adores you, and cares for you. I did a huge blunder Irene and I always ended up hurting him. I like him but instead of caring or adoring him, he suffers because of me." I cried my heart out.

"Sana, calm down.. please don't cry like this" She tried to console me that's when I heard my knight amour voice.

I looked at the door side, Alex was standing there with a smile on his face. Irene stood up from the bed and went to Alex.

"Thank you because of you, now I know she has feelings for me and she wants to be in this relationship," He said to Irene, staring at me. I bow my eyes because of my shyness. Irene left from there.

Alex closed the door and came to me. He sat beside me and then made me look at him by holding my chin. He wiped my tears, looking into my eyes.

"I'm sorry, Sana. I shouldn't have drunk or raised my hand" He clamped up and then sighed. I could feel that he was guilty of his act.

"I promise you that I will never drink nor will I raise my hand on you. '' He clutched his hair in frustration. "Moon goddess, I can't even think of something like this. I don't know how I did that last night. Please Sana punish me." he held my hand.

"Alex"

"Please punish me Sana. I will accept whatever punishment you will give me. I will accept it without any question but at last please forgive me" he said with teary eyes.

"promise me that you will never drink or raise your hand," I said, wiping his tears.

"I promise"

"And if you do, I will leave you and you will not stop me and accept my rejection," I said. His eyes widened hearing my words.

"Sano"

"It's your punishment, Alex. Give me your Alpha words that if you raise your hand or come near me after drinking then I will leave you and reject you as my Mate and you will neither stop me and also accept my rejection"

"ok... I give you my Alpha words that if I ever drink or raise my hand on you and in return when you will reject me. I will accept your rejection without saying anything and let you go" He said and a smile came to my lips.

"But"

"But?" I asked in anticipation.

"If I did something like this again which I will not but if it happens then promise me you will kick my ass before rejecting me" He muttered, making me laugh louder.

"What? I'm serious Sano"

"Did you actually think that I will hit you?" I laughed.

"No, I don't think so because I knew you were going to hit me if I did something like this again" He uttered in a serious tone. I look at him in confusion, not understanding his meaning.

"You had a right to show the person his place whenever he forgot. You will hit me or anyone brutally who will try to touch you without your permission, try to harm you, or raise your hand on you. You will kick his ass or if that person crosses all lines then kick his ball so hard that he will never be able to make a child and thought to do something like this even in his dream with any girl. No matter who the person is. Even if I crossed my lines then show you will show me my place. Got it?" He said.

I nodded and a blissful smile came on my face, finding a mate like him. when I become such a lucky moon goddess. I didn't say anything and attached my lips to him, giving a high sign to my decision of giving him another chance, to give our relationship another chance.
