After lunch, Alex went to the study room for office work and I started searching for the girl whom I saw in the dining area.

Finally, I found her sitting alone in the park near the waterfall. I went to her and kept my hand on her shoulder. She removed my hand and stood up in fear.

"I'm sorry... I didn't want to frighten you, " I said.

"But you did," She screeched, looking at me with hatred.

"I can see hatred in your eyes for me. I want to know the reason" She chuckled at my words.

"Why do you hate me?" I asked directly what was bothering me.

"I can't believe this... You have the guts to ask me why I hate you" She said with disgust in her voice. She turned to go but I came in front of her. My eyes went to Max who was coming toward me. I ignored him and looked back at the girl.

"I want a straight answer. Why do you hate me?" I asked again. she angrily looked towards me and then out of the blue she held my neck and tightened her grip around my neck. My eyes popped out and I tried to release myself from her grip but it seems like my struggle was increasing her anger. She tightened her grip on my neck.

I started feeling darkness around my eyes and struggling to take a breath.

I was about to close my eyes when suddenly she lost grip over my neck. I took a deep breath and fell to the ground, coughing and struggling to take a breath. That's when I felt a hand on my back. I looked at my side, Max was standing there. After my breath normalised, he helped me to stand.

"How dare you?" He yelled at that girl. She got frightened and moved back. I could feel Max's wolf realising his aura. For a second even I got frightened. He must have seen her strangling my neck and then helped me to get out of her grip. I was still finding it hard to breathe.

My eyes went to that girl who was still looking at me with hatred.

"Why?" I asked her. She again came towards me to harm me but this time Max came in front of me.

"Submit me" he growled realising his aura and that girl wolf whimpered and kneel in front of him. Even I trembled because of his aura.

"I will kill her," She said, whimpering in pain.

"You"

"Max" I held Max's hand before he would do something in anger. He moved his hand on my hair like a big brother.

"Are you ok?" He asked in concern. I nod my head and look at the girl.

"Release her wolf from your aura. she is in pain"

"She deserves this," He grunted.

"Please," I said and he let her wolf go.

"I will kill you," She said. I tightened my grip on Max's arms.

"What, you thought that I would be afraid of you like everyone else? Sorry to dismay you, but I don't afraid of you. What will you do? Tell everything to Alpha Alex and then ask him to kill me like you used to do earlier in Alpha Richard's pack... I'm not afraid of death, you bitch" She yelled.

"Dare you... Dare you if you utter anything rubbish about my sister" Max warned her. I look at him not believing my ear that he called me his sister.

"Wow... You also took him into your control. You're such a characterless"

"Shut up" Max yelled. I can see his wolf on the surface. I moved back because of fear.

"Don't utter anything about Luna otherwise I will cut your tongue" he growled. That girl moved back in fear.

"I'm giving you the last warning: stay away from her and dare you to even think of harming our Luna. I will burn you alive no matter if you're a girl"

"This is not what we were taught by Alpha Aaron, Rex" we heard Alex's voice. I turned my head and found him standing with Emily, a few distances away. I turn my head toward Max. He took control back from his wolf.

"I'm sorry" He muttered. Emily came towards us and held Max arms possessively, glaring at me. She must have not listened to the conversation when Max called me his sister.

I was looking at Max who was still glaring at that girl angrily. That's when I felt a hand on my waist. I look at my side finding Alex.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"Yes... Max saved my life" I replied looking into his eyes to see if he also gets passive like Emily but all I can see is his love and trust in me. A smile broke on my lips.

"Thank you, beta Max for saving your Luna's life"

"It's my duty, Alpha," Max replied. Alex turned his head towards the girl. He is furious and I can feel that. I kept my hand on his chest to calm him and it seemed like it worked. His reaction changed to calmness.

"Would you like to say why you did this?" Alex asked, looking at her.

"Because I hate her," She yelled. "And if I get another chance then I will again try to kill this bitch"

"I'm giving you a chance to speak, that doesn't mean you can utter rubbish about my mate" He growled.

"Alex" I nod my head negatively when he moves a step towards him.

"Why? Why do you want to kill me? What do I do that makes you hate me so much that you want to take my life?" I asked.

"How can you even ask me such a question? You killed my sister and I can't even hate you" She yelled.

"What?" I look at her in disbelief at the way she is accusing me of killing someone. She rolled her eyes and turned her face to the other side.

"I didn't kill your sister. You must have some misunderstanding" I said.

"Stop lying," She growled. "What was my sister's mistake? Because of you Alpha Richard ordered his warrior to kill my sister brutally as she looked at you when you were in the kitchen and asked you if you needed something." She said while sobbing. I nod my head in no.

"I didn't... I mean I never asked Richard to harm anyone. Why did everyone accuse me of asking him to destroy their life? '' I said.

"wow... I must say you're an amazing actress." She laughed and then stood up and rushed towards me to kill me. This time Alex came in front of me.

"Stop acting like an innocent bitch. Have some shame and tell the truth to everyone. If you did something then accept it" She grunted. I moved Alex out of our midst.

"I don't know how to make you believe but I never did anything," I said.

"Max, bring every woman we rescued from Richard's pack and they are serving our pack in the pack ground... Right now" Alex ordered. I look at him confusingly not able to understand what he is up to.

"Ok Alpha," Max said and went to complete his task. Alex held my hand and then looked at the girl.

"I promise you if your culprit is my wife then you will punish her yourself. Come to the ground" He said and took me towards the ground where he asked Max to bring everyone.
