When I reached our room, I saw Sana was in Max's embrace and he was preventing her from looking inside. I took a deep breath which I don't know from when I'm holding it. Sana is ok and that's all I wanted.

"Sano" I called her. She looked at me and then pushed away Max. She turned towards our room and then she screamed. I immediately went to her and turned her towards me to check whether she was ok or not. I look at her from head to toe and then look inside to know why she screamed. I closed my eyes and saw the scenario and realised why Max was not letting her look inside.

"Max" I yelled and it was enough for everyone to understand and they started arranging things to pull off the fire. Bringing water and throwing it on Mary where Max went in another direction.

I too joined warriors and helped them. Tears brimmed in my eyes hearing Mary's painful scream. After a little struggle, finally, the fire on Mary's body was extinguished. I took a breath of relief. Sana went inside and then took out a blanket and covered Mary. A smile came on my face seeing my girl helping Mary instead of getting scared of fair or fear of getting burned. my eyes went to the side curtain which caught fire through Mary.

"Sano" I called her and pulled her towards me. Two warriors took Mary out of the room to take her to the pack doctor.

"We should leave before the whole room catches fire," I said and took her out holding her hand.

I frowned seeing warriors still standing outside.

"Why didn't you both take her to the doctor?" I growled.

"She wanted to talk to you, Alpha," one of the warriors said. I sighed and turned my head towards Sana.

"Stand here only okay. Don't go anywhere" I mumbled. I'm scared for her, what if she accidentally went inside or got hurt or what if the person who is behind Mary's condition is still in the villa roaming freely. He can harm her. Sana nodded her head. I smiled and then looked at Aunt Mary. I sat beside her and tears rolled from my eyes seeing her like this.

"He wanted... Aah… He wanted to harm Luna. Thinking of me as Luna, he threw petrol on me and burned matchstick" Mary said in a broken voice. My eyes widened hearing her.

"For Luna?" She nodded her head and screamed because of the pain.

"We will talk later.. first your treatment is important"

"No... Arghh" she cried because of the pain and then held my hand.

"I always consider you as my son, that's why I never felt bad that I'm barren."

"Why are you talking like this… Aunt" I mumbled and a tear fell from my eyes.

"He wanted to harm Sana" she again screamed in pain.

"For god sake.. where is the fucking doctor? call her immediately" I yelled. One of the warriors rushed to call the doctor. I look at Aunt Mary.

"Nothing will happen to you" I mumbled.

"It's time to go, my son."

"No" I nod my head in negative.

"He wanted to harm Luna... Thinking of me as her, he threw petrol on me and then burnt matchsticks. He wanted Luna to be dead" she said and tears rolled from her eyes.

"I will pray to the moon goddess to keep you both together and happy," she said and then screamed. I felt her grip loosen on my hand indicating to me that she is no more. I closed my eyes to control my emotions.

"Luna" I heard Sam's voice. I opened my eyes and looked at my side. Sana was not there. I stood up and then looked inside where Sam was looking. Sana was inside the room holding something in her hand. I was about to enter inside when she screamed.

"No... I'm coming" I frowned and waited for her to come outside but suddenly the fire went on high. she moved back as the wardrobe which was between her and the door caught fire. I glare at her angrily.

"Alex No" She screamed as I took a step inside the room. Like her, I also didn't listen to her and looked around. My eyes went to bed which is still perfect. I immediately climbed on the bed and then jumped towards her.

"Alex, be careful" she screamed. I ignored her and went to her. I glare at her angrily before picking her up in my arms. We had an argument but I didn't prefer to drag it especially when we are surrounded by fire.

I headed towards the bed but till then the bed sheet caught fire and then we heard the sound of the spray. We look at the door. Max was standing there with a fire extinguisher. My beta, or say my best friend who is always there for me, extinguished the fire in our way then I brought her out of the room then got her down, and glared at her angrily.

"Sam took Sana to another room" I ordered Sam, not wanting to scream at her or say anything in anger which I regret later.

"Yes Alpha" Sam bowed her head. "Luna please"

"Alex '' She came to me. I turned my face to the other side not wanting to lose control over myself and let out my anger on her.

"I know you're pissed at me that I didn't listen to you. I'm sorry" she mumbled and that's it. I lose control and glare at her angrily.

"What were you doing?" I hissed. she bowed her eyes down instead of replying which didn't help but increase my anger over her careless attitude.

"What the fucking you were doing inside?" This time I shout, not being able to control my anger. I can't… I can't control my emotions when it comes to her. She knows how important she is to me. Still, she put her life in danger. How could she expect me not to react and be okay with what she did and the way she put her life in danger?

"Alex" I heard Max's voice, reminding me of my tone.

"What Max? Let me ask her what was so important in the room that she went inside despite me telling her not to go anywhere" I growled looking at my girl.

"I'm sorry" She sobbed. I felt a slight pain looking at her crying but I controlled my emotion, wanting to be strict with her. so that she won't put her life in danger again.

"Did you sorry to pacify the stunt you played inside?" I frowned and that's when my eyes went to the frame in her hand. she was holding.

"What is this?" I snatched it from her hand. My eyes widened seeing the photo frame of mom and dad that Irene brought for me.

"You went inside to bring my mom and dad's photo frame?" I asked. She snatched it from my hand.

"They are also my mom-dad" She scrawled. "Let's go to another room Sam," she said and went with Sam. A smile came on my lips seeing the way she considered my mom and dad as her parents. Max came to me and put his hand on my shoulder.

"Are you ok?" He asked.

"It's true no man can understand a woman because they are beyond our understanding… They are amazing, fabulous, and have a much bigger heart than us."

"Indeed" He nodded his head.

"Aunt Mary" I sighed and looked at him.

"Warrior told me that she is no more"

"Please don't tell Sana about it," I said.

"Sorry brother" I scrunch my eyebrows at his words.

"She heard everything," he said and turned his face in the direction where Sana went. I followed his gaze and found Sana standing there. She didn't say anything and went back towards the room. I covered my face with my hand, knowing I create a mess as she hates when someone hides anything from her.

I went behind her, she was still holding the frame in hand. I sat beside her on the bed and that's when my eyes went to her palm which was slightly burned because of the fire.

"Sano" I took her hand in mine and looked at it. her skin turned red. I glared at her and she bowed her head.

I immediately bring first aid and apply burn cream on her hand then a bandage. In the whole process she didn't say a word to me nor did she hiss in pain. I looked at her, she was lost in her thoughts, gazing at mom and dad pictures.

"Sano" she didn't reply, still looking at that photo frame.

"Sano" This time I yelled and shook her a little. she came to sense and gawked at me.

"What... What happened? Why are you yelling?" she asked. I bring her close to me and embrace her in my arms.

"Are you okay?" I asked. Instead of replying, she hid her face in my chest. Don't know why her silence is increasing my fear... fear of the upcoming storm and her silence is an indication of it.
