Kaden's POV
I sat in my room for a few hours before I stood. It was now morning.
My wolf was pretty much ignoring me, but I was fine with that. I slipped on some clothes, a shirt and gray sweatpants, and made my way out of the room and down the hall.
I went into the garage and grabbed a container and hauled it with me to my car. I placed it in the passenger seat and got in and stepped on the gas.
I watched the road in silence. The plot was rolling in my mind. They'd pay.
Finally I was there. My car came to a screaming halt. I looked out at the mildly large building.
I looked at the gasoline and tucked the lighter into my pocket. With a growl I was out of the car.
My feet stomped against the ground as I walked. There was only one thing on my mind.
I'd kill that son of a bitch. I'd kill all of them if I had to.
My heart hammered calmly in my chest. My fingers twitched.
It wasn't long before I'd reached my destination; a pack house. My feet led me inside and I ignored the shocked faces.
My eyes scanned the wolves and I growled. I didn't see him.
"Kaden--" I turned at the voice and saw a confused looking Axel.
"Where is he?" I said in the most calm voice I could muster up.
"Who?" Axel said and I felt the shrivel of calm crumple away.
"Amelia's father dammit! Where is he?!" I snarled and the alpha narrowed his eyes at me.
"He's in his room." Axel said. I raised an eyebrow.
"I'm not telling you where it is. You have to leave." Axel growled and I scoffed.
"That bastard did all that shit to my Amelia... why are you even giving him a room? A place to stay? Don't protect him; just give me the son of a bitch and I'll be on my way." I snarled feeling the rage overtaking me.
"Don't question what I do Kaden. Now get out." Axel snarled and I felt my wolf pacing angrily.
"You're pissing me off Axel... give him to me now, you won't like the aftermath if you don't." I growled.
A growl rumbled from him.
"You're not coming into my pack demanding things. Now leave." He growled.
A snarl roared from me and everyone in the room flinched. My hands twitched with the animal impulse to kill.
"I'll find him myself then." I growled and made my way toward a hallway, but Axel blocked my path. I sneered at the alpha in pure distaste.
"Kaden leave." He ordered and I chuckled; before anyone knew what was happening I let my claws form and plunged my hand into his chest. His eyes widened and I grasped his heart softly. He gasped and grabbed my arm and his pack members began yelling. His eyes blinked rapidly as I smirked. He let out chocking breaths and whimpered.
His heart pumped violently against my hand and I looked at the alpha in front of me.
"You know what? You're always getting in my way Axel. She talked about you like you were some saint. But to me you're just competition... and I don't like competition." I growled and squeezed his heart. He gasped and tried to pull my arm away... So I obliged and ripped it out, along with his heart.
I looked at the bloody organ in my now wet, crimson hand and chuckled. Around me his pack howled in anguish at their now dead alpha. I tossed the heart aside and focused on them.
They never helped my Amelia.
I made quick work of them. Soon they were all dead and I went in search of her bastard father.
I barged into every room. My wolf restless as every room turned up empty.
Finally I came to a room where a man was laying in bed. His dark hair was grayish. His muscles were sagging with age.
It was him. A growl rumbled in my chest and his eyes opened. His eyes were golden... much like mine. I frowned.
I stomped to the bed and he looked at me in confusion. He took in my bloody attire and his eyebrows shot up.
I wrenched the man up from bed and he looked at me with a slight fearful frown. I gripped his throat and threw him to the ground.
"What the hell is wrong with you?" I growled and kicked his stomach. He groaned and held up his hands.
"Who are you?" The man coughed out and I let out a snarl.
"Alpha Kaden. Your daughter's mate." I spat and the man's face drained of color.
"What are you doing here?" The man sputtered and a rumble gurgled in my throat.
"She said she couldn't kill you..." I stared at the old man. He looked at me with wide eyes and tried to scramble away, but I stomped down on his arm and held him in place. He yowled and I smirked.
"I don't see why not." I growled and listened to the breaking of his arm.
It was like sweet music... though I'd rather hear Amelia moaning my name any day over this. I cleared the distracting thought from my mind and focused back on the task at hand.
He yelled and I kicked his head. Her father groaned and slumped to the side.
He sputtered and tried to get up.
"I--" the guy tried and I snarled.
"I'm not Amelia. Don't try to reason with me." I growled and threw him against the wall. My fist connected with his jaw and the satisfying crack of his jaw breaking was heard. Blood spilled from his mouth and I gripped his fractured jaw and his eyes were squeezed shut.
"Look at me." I growled. He whimpered softly and for a moment I thought of Amelia. I shook the thought away and was fueled by rage.
"Look at me dammit!" I roared and he opened his eyes.
"Have fun in Hell." I snarled and tore his jaw from his body. His bloody tongue hung low and gurgling cries came from his torn throat. Blood spilled and spattered and I gripped his hair; holding him up.
"Look at me." I ordered and his dying eyes met mine and didn't leave even when his life faded. I nodded curtly and let go of his hair and the dead body slumped to the ground.
Relief washed over me and I made my way back outside to get the canister of gasoline from my passenger seat.
I dowsed most of the house, especially the bodies and with a flick of my lighter the place was set ablaze. I walked away from the house and watched it burn for a while before getting in my car and starting the engine.
With one last look at the burning house I drove away.
I sighed... I wanted her back.
Hopefully she'd be back soon.
I made it home hours later and paused when I saw a familiar car parked in the driveway. I let out a breath and grumbled curses as I parked my car and hopped out. I was mostly clean, I'd washed off in a lake, but the blood still stained my clothes.
I shut the car door and walked up to the front door. My hand dragged down my face before I entered inside.
I shut the door softly. It was quiet... Maybe I could just sneak to my room and...
"Kaden." A deep voice I wasn't in the mood to hear said. I stopped walking reluctantly.
"Where have you been? We got here hours ago, and you weren't here. Is that blood on you?" A sweet voice said and I groaned inwardly.
I turned to see my parents and smiled softly at their disapproving gazes.
You think that's bad, just wait. I thought and sighed.
"I killed a pack for hurting my mate." I growled.
