Chapter 2

CHAPTER TWO

IVANA awoke up when she felt something pointing his nose.

She almost jumped out of bed when she noticed an insect in it.

"SHOCKS!" She shouted. "I thought someone's with me." She said, relieved.

But when she saw the room she was in, her eyes widened and her mouth hung. She wasn't in her room. It's not her room. With a distressed expression on her face, she roved her eyes.

"Where... Am I?" She asked herself.

She quickly removed the blanket from her body and stepped out of the bed. She tried to remember where she was in the room. It wasn't clear whose room it was. The room did not appear to be simple, but rather expensive.

She felt the most fear in her life when she walked out of the room. The sala and kitchen were both spotless. You can't see any dirt or dust. It's not their sala or kitchen. It was really clean.

Her gaze was drawn to the door in front of her room. She dashed over to it. Without knocking she flung open the door. She was surprised to see a back of a guy wearing his underwear at the same time she opened the door.

She slammed the door shut in a flash. Her heart was racing as she realized what she had done and seen. But her thoughts kept returning to who that guy was. Was he the one who dragged her?

She was still reeling from the shock when the door swung open. She immediately exited the incline and faced the door.

"Who are you, lady?"

She locked her gaze on the man who opened the door. She couldn't say anything because she couldn't take her gaze away from him. His naked body appeared.

Her gaze was drawn to his broad shoulder, down to his muscled chest and six-pack abs. By looking at his beautiful body, she couldn't help but feel thirsty.

She was startled when she flicked his fingers.

"I said, who are you?" She asked once more time with a baritone voice. "How did you get into my house?"

"Y-Your house?" She tried to stay cool and not to looked to his body. "H-How did I enter you...r house?"

"Wake up, lady! Wake up!"

She remained motionless, her brow furrowed, as she gazed at him.

'What a waste. Your body was good but you aren't.' She thought.

"So this is your home." Her tone of voice shifted to stern.

One of the man's brows furrowed.

"So, why Am I here?" She asked.

"What?" His lips curved upward. "Shouldn't I be the one to ask you that, lady? How did you get into my house?"

Instead of responding to his question, she averted her gaze.

"Could you please put something on you to cover yourself first?"

"Fvck!" He hissed. "Answer my damn question to end this nonsense conversation!"

She looked at him again, this time slightly irritated. Is he cursing me?

"I don't know either! When I woke up, I'm already here!" She pointed to the door from which she had exited. "I assumed you kidnapped me, which is why I'm here. But, looking at you, I'm sure I'm wrong. Right?"

"Woah!" His voice sounds astounded. "Is this a new style of thief these days? You claim that I kidnapped you? Do you think I believe it? Huh, lady?"

"The hell?! Even if I were filthy poor, I would never do something like this! What's the matter with you?"

"Yeah, yeah, as if I believe you."

"And who said you'd have to believe in me?" She locked her gaze on him. Her rage grew more intense. But she became soft because she got distracted by his sweat-drenched body. "E-Even though you... you look like that, I still don't want to robbed you!"

"Look like?" He asked. "What's that mean?"

"L-Like that!" She pointed him. "Ah! Whatever!"

"Oh!" He chuckled. "Hot. Yeah, I already know that, lady."

"HOT?!" She shouted. "Where exactly? That?" She pointed out his abs, which were now covered in sweat. "It's not good looking as my boyfriend's!"

"Really?" He said with a playful tone. "But you're always looking at it."

"I'm just checking to see if... if it's as good as my b-boyfriend's abs. Yes, it doesn't!" She defended herself.

Her gaze was drawn to his hands as he gently touched his abs. He was teasing her.

"Hmm... Okay." The smile on his lips made her to mocked.

She walked away before she could say anything more. She went to the kitchen because she suddenly felt the hunger when she saw his good looking abs—Este, with the arguments with the guy.

"Wait, what?!"

She was about to open the refrigerator when she heard him yell. She noticed him looking around with a puzzled expression on his face. His gaze wandered, as if he was thinking about how lovely his home was. Was he not seeing his house every day?

She shook her head and looked inside the refrigerator at the food. She was holding the two eggs when the man yelled again.

"HEY, LADY! WHERE THE HELL AM I?!"

"WHAT—" She lowered her gaze to the egg, which had landed on the floor. Shen then looked at the man, surprised. "Isn't it yours?! What's the matter with you? Why do you need to yell?! Poor eggs!"

She was about to clean the eggs on the floor when she was interrupted by his statements.

"This isn't mine! This isn't my home."

"W-What?!" She came closer to him. "You said earlier that this is yours, isn't it?"

"I mistakenly believed that this was my home. But the style of this house is different from mine!"

"So you're saying that this is not yours nor mine?" She concluded. "So, who's house is this?!"

"Don't know."

"WHAT?!"

"Will you stop shouting!" He declared.

"How did we both end up here? Was it a kidnapping or what?!"

His face turned into serious one. "Don't know. Maybe?" He shrugged his shoulders.

"Why don't you know!?"

"The fvck wrong with you, lady!? Who you think I am? A prophecy or fvcking what?!"

Ivyna becomes transfixed as she recalls the foresee women who gave her a small bottle. She drank it the night before, and this happened after she awoke.

'Was this the effect of it?' She thought.

She assumed that thing had no effect? But what happens now? It seems to exacerbate to her problem.

"Earth to you, lady? Do you remember how we ended up here?" He flickered his fingers.

She jolt and stared at him. She made a shaky motion with her head. Should she have told him about it? But what if that has nothing to do with it? She's torn between telling him and not telling him.

When the guy didn't get a response from her. He chose to go to the front door. When he opened it, all he saw was vast space.

Ivyna trailed behind him. She then rested her hand on his shoulder and peered out the door.

The man looked at her before moving his gaze to her hand on his shoulder. He became aware of electricity flowing towards her. He was astounded.

Ivyna looked at him when she felt his stare. She moved away from him after noticing how close she was to him.

"W-why?" She asked. "Do you remember something?"

He shook his head.

Her shoulder sagged.

"I also don't remember anything. How we ended up here?"

They went silence while thinking about how they ended up together in one house.

"AHA!" She clapped her hand as she thought something. "Is this a dream?! IS THIS?! IS THIS?!"

He shook his head. "I don't think so."

"Why?"

"Cuz I can talk to you and you to me. We can understand each other?"

"We can communicate and understand each other in our dreams, too!"

"Then think whatever you want." He said this and then walked away from her. He walked toward the kitchen.

She pouted while following him with her stare.

She once again looked outside before running to him. She sat down the counter while watching the guy preparing something.

"You know how to cook?"

"What do you think I am? Disabled person? Or not a human?"

"Yes, you looked like a statue." She whispered to herself.

"What did you whisper?"

She looked at him, unbothered. Did he heard what she said? "N-Nothing!"

"Tsk!" He turned his back to her and stared cooking.

He cooked while Ivyna watching him.

'He looks a husband material, though.' She shook her head to what she thought.

Minutes passed when he finally done. He went to the refrigerator again and get some milk. He was going to passed by her when she stopped him.

"Wait, wait, wait!" She stood up and blocked his way.

His eyebrows met. "What?"

She looked at him with a 'really look', before her stare drawn to the food he saw holding. "Is that only for you? All of that?"

He looked to the food he was holding before nodding. "Yeah."

"You have no pity on me. You just cook for yourself!"

"Use your hands, lady." He stated and walked away from her.

Her stern eyes followed him as he entered his room.

"What's wrong with that guy?!" She said. "Use your hands! The heck with him!"

She was singing as she prepared her breakfast. She ate her food and then washed it. She was wiping her hands when the guy came out of his room.

She rolled her eyes and walked right past him. She purposefully brushed up her shoulder against his. She heard him curse in hushed tones, but she ignored it. She decided to watch TV since there was nothing else she could do. However, when she heard the sound coming from the TV, she almost had a heart attack.

"AHHH!! YES! YES! YESS—"

"THE HECK!!"

She immediately pressed the button to turn it off. She calmed down when the TV turned off.

"What was that?"

She turned to face the man, who was still a bubble in his hands.

She continuously shook her head.

"N-Nothing... Uh, I'm, uh, going back to my room— I mean to the room I came from."

She didn't wait for him to talk. She almost laid on the floor because of her clumsiness.

She closed the door as she went in to the room.

"What was that?!" She gasped while holding her chest. "Why is there such a thing on television?!"

She jumped into her bed and wrapped herself in a blanket. She was embarrassed by what she had done. Until she slept.

TAESE woke up when he heard his phone rang. TAESE was awakened when his phone rang. He answered the phone while still closing his eyes.

"What?" He said in a hoarse voice.

"DID I DISTURBED YOU FVCKING SLEEP, MR. VILLA-PUTA?"

As he heard his friend's voice over the phone, he opened his eyes. He removed the phone from his ear before checking the time.

It was already nine o'clock in the morning.

But he was still drowsy. He felt his body in excruciating pain and had no idea why.

"I'm coming, Jeff."

"Come your fvck ass here, Tae! You're the one who's not here! Fvcking fvck you, man! You're the man who I was reprimand off last night. But in the end you're the one who's gonna be late?! Sh!t you!"

"Yeah, Jeff, coming."

He ended up the call and closed his eyes again. He fucking felt tired. When he arrived at the bar where his friends were, he was got cursed and punched.

"You look damn sleepy, man! How many girls did you fucked last night? Exhausted?" His friend named Gerson teased him.

His other friend named Clarence, who's have a pilot license, smell him like a dog. "Whoa! You smell like a girl and sh!t, bro!"

The three of his friends laughed while he was shook his head.

"Just fvcking tired." He said.

He made a sour face when his friend continued teasing him. They talked and teased each other while drinking.

IVYNA woke up when someone bangged. She almost fell from her bed.

"YES, MALVIN! DESTROY EVERYTHING OUR BELONGINGS! GO!"

She sat down, exhausted. She suspected that a thief had broken into their home but the truth was, her parents was the suspect of that sound. She washed her face in disbelief.

She checked the time and saw that it was already eight o'clock in the morning. She sighed as she realized she only had one hour of work left. Rather than sleeping again, she stood up and prepared herself.

While fixing herself, she suddenly stopped.

"I think I had a bad dream last night." She said talking to her reflection in the mirror.

She shook her head, unable to recall anything from her dream.
