Chapter 4 His Face

It hadn't occur to me how fast the weekend went after sitting and doing paper work for 30 minutes when I got to work.

I arched my brows and bit my lips in frustration, after finishing a few paper work. I had a dozen more to got through.

I need coffee, I hated it but I needed it at the moment, with a lot of creamer to keep me focused.

I stretched my limps, stood and walked to the room down to the second floor to get my coffee.

As I was opening the door I bump into a something hard. Thankfully my coffee didn't spill. I looked up and saw a very good looking man.

"Sorry." Both me and the and the guy said in union.

He chuckled, a deep chuckle. "It my fault I was too busy on this." He said easing his phone and showing me.

"It's cool." I said with a tight smile. I had to get back to work I had a lot already, I didn't want to come off as rude.

"Yeah... You're the new assistant right? I'm Bryan. I work downstairs." He said reaching his hand out to me for a hand.

"Camila. Nice to meet."

"Beautiful name for a beautiful girl." Bryan said eyeing me head to toe.

From the corner of my eye I see Klaus and his client leaving a conference room. He must be telling him something more because they stand at the door, talking. I look up to see clearly that the client Klaus has with him is explaining something. But it seems that Klaus is so far from listening or paying attention to the guy.

Instead we're both staring at each other like we're the only ones in the hallway. Bryan grazes his finger tips against my chin making me come back to "earth".

"Hello, Earth to Camila." Bryan says looking at me with a sly smirk.

Before situated with what he just said. I catch Klaus's face, filled with disgust.

Making my insides turn.

We haven't spoken since what happen last week. And all the sudden I felt down. Like low to know he hasn't payed me any attention, I don't know why.

I said a quick thank you and goodbye to Bryan and headed back to my office.

I felt Klaus eyes burning holes in my back once I got to my office across his, I shut my blinds. I had to get those immediately, I was tired of I seeing people walk pass causing a distraction.

I took a quick peak through them to still see Klaus standing in front of his door just looking at my door, even after the client had left I can tell his was calculating something. Our eyes locked and I quickly dismissed myself from the window and went back to my seat catching my breath.

Did I do something wrong?

Klaus stood with his back towards me looking out the window in my office. After doing all my work. I left out of breath of relief knowing I was finished and was able to clear my mined.

Til shortly a few minutes after Klaus came in disturbing my peace.

"You should know I am a very dangerous man." Klaus interrupted the silence. Both of his hands where fisted into his front pockets.

"What do you mean?"I said, my heart rate was picking up.

Why was he telling me this? Was he going to kill me?!

I remember hearing a few employees sharing how a couple of his assistants had just vanished in thin air.

"Look Mr. Steals.."I was trying to figure out what could I have possibly done to piss this man off.

"Camila." Klaus said finally looking away from the window. His eyes held this angry. I can see his jaw line flexing as if he was thinking really hard.

May about how he's going to kill me.

He walked around my desk and stood behind me as I sat in my chair.

I didn't move an inch. All I heard was the mixture of his and my deep breaths.

"Camila?" Klaus said more like a question. He's hands glided over the arms of my chair making me jump in fear.

"Yes Mr. Steals." I said in a whisper. Pushing my self further into the chair like I can go anywhere.

I am a very dangerous man.

I look down to see his hands gripping the arm rest tightly.

"Please don't." I said suddenly. Just as Klaus turned my chair around to face him. I shut my eyes yet again in fright. I was clearly not in the right mine or bright enough to grab something from my desk to attack if things went downhill.

"Hurting you is the last thing on my mind." He nuzzled his nose on the top of my head.

I opened my eyes to his looking right into mine. Hypnotizing must you say, they were beautiful. I can look into them all day. An unsettled feeling washed over me.

I clammed my hands together in relief yet I couldn't figure out what his issue was.

"Do you recall the guy you spoke to early?" Klaus said with a sigh.

"Yes." I said still shaken up.

"Bryan's his name?" Klaus said rubbing his nose tip to my earlobe. I shivered, moved my head to the side.

"Yes, What about him?" I mumbled trying to ignore Klaus's actions as best as I could.

"I don't like the idea of you going near him again or him coming near you." I looked at him almost hitting my nose on his jaw. He was too close.

I was contemplating with his statement.

I didn't say nothing. After a few seconds he looked at me. There was fury in his eyes, only a little.

"Are you going to answer me?" He asked. I gulped, I said the first thing that came to mind.

"You want me to not go near him, why?!"

"I said don't Camila. It's that simple kitten." Angry boiled inside of me. Klaus pushed his body weight off my chair making it hit my desk hard. I winched.

Who is he to do control me?

"Mr.Steals I would advise you to get out my office. As your assistant you should never feel the need tell me what to do and not what to do unless it is strictly when it comes to work related things. Please and Thank you!"

He leaned away from me and looked at me with an astonished face.

His eyes fixated on me. His jaw clenched, his eyes narrowed even hard if they could.

"Test me Camila. If Bryan gets hurt it's on you." Klaus smiles.

"I'll call the police." I said standing my ground.

This dude must be a fucking wacko.

"You might as well call god. Because nothing can stop me, kitten." His eyes sparkled, but not in a good way.

I gulped. Grabbed my bag in a hurry, and left the room I had to go home anyways. For I had finished my work.
