THE FINAL DEAL
Exactly three months the log time engaged couple managed to plan their wedding with the help of Nicolo and Nathalia. They decided not to do the bridal or stag party since it’s really not necessary considering how demanding the twins can be with their parents not around. Instead they decided to do a house warming diner so everyone can attend and see the twins.
"My figlia is getting married I'm so happy for you." Mrs. Montini cried.
"Mamà, I'm just getting married not leaving the country." Courtney replied giggling.
"Don't worry about your Mamà she's just being emotional like Liliana." Her father commented and chuckles.
Mrs. Montini and Mrs. Venoso handled the 100 guests that they mostly invited. The location of the ceremony and the reception will be held at Ben's ancestral house. The theme is garden wedding while the motif is turquoise and grey, the couple favorite color.
“You look so beautiful.” Nicolo gushed over her best friend who is wearing a Monique Lhuillier’s design.
It was a champagne colored sleeveless dress and Courtney wanted it to look quite classic yet romantic style. The details are very elegant with lace embroidery from chest to waist, what she love about the dress is you can remove take the trail after the ceremony and turn it to a semi casual dress which is exactly what she was looking for.
"Your prince is waiting at the end of this aisle, are you ready to meet him?" Mr. Montini linked his arm on his daughter.
This is the day that finally Ben and Courtney will be husband and wife after months of planning they are now closer to the new chapter of their life with their twins.
"I'm ready Papà. This is my dream to marry the man I'm in love with. Thank you." Courtney smiled while her father kissed her forehead.
“The bridal march had just started.” Nathalia announced.
As if on cue, the entourage went on to their position from the ring bearer played by Zander, Zac's son; Stephanie as the flower girl, Zander’s twin. After that, Bridesmaids were next in line first to walk was Agent Marielle who was shocked by the invitation but accepted it nonetheless, then next on the list was Sherina who is three months pregnant and recently got engaged with Martin. The Groomsmen are Nicolo and his partner who were in relationship for six months. For the Maid of Honour, Nathalia took the place since Eric is the Best Man. The highlight of the moment was of course is the bride walking down the aisle aside from the much awaited kiss.
As Courtney begins her bridal march, everyone eyes are on her as while her eyes is focus to the handsome groom at the end of the altar. Ben is wearing an Armani grey suit and pants paired with blue necktie with a tulip rested on the left pocket just above his chest.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today to witness the binding of these two hearts Courtney Amber and Benjamin Clark..." The Reverend begins.
Both of them couldn't focus on the ceremony because their eyes are still lock from the moment their hands are joined by the Reverend. They only spoke when the Reverend ask for them to say their vows for each other stating with Ben.
"Court, the first time I approached you at the Café I never thought you'd turned my life 360 degrees. You made me realize how lucky I am to have found you that day. You made me become a better man and gave our two sons. You made me the happiest man in the whole world. Lastly, you made me complete by being my wife. In front of our family and friends I vow thee that I will be the best loving, loyal husband and best friend you could ever have until death do us part. I love you very much and today I promised you I'll remember you until eternity." He placed the ring after the speech.
"Benj, the day I first met you at the airport you were constantly on my mind and almost gave up hope in seeing you again until the day at the Café happened. I was speechless and ecstatic because finally my parents won't think of me as crazy. You made me believe that dreams do come true and you gave me the most precious gifts I could ever have as a woman. You showered me with love and devotion that makes me love you even more. I promise I will always support you and understands you in each issue we will face. In front of our friends and family I vowed my undying love; trust and loyalty until forever." Courtney inserted the ring on his finger.
"Do you Courtney Amber take Benjamin Clark to be your lawfully wedded husband to love and to hold for richer or for poorer till death do you part?" The Reverend asked to confirm.
"I do!" She answered eagerly.
"Do you Benjamin Clark take Courtney Amber to be your wedded wife to love and to hold for richer or for poorer till death do you part?" The Reverend addressed Ben.
"Oh yes Father I do many times!" Ben exclaimed and the crowd laughed.
"You may now kiss your wife; ladies and gentlemen I proudly introduced Mr. and Mrs. Venoso." The Reverend announced.
Everyone starts clapping and cheering while the new wedded couple shared their very first kiss after being away for one night. The crowd went wild when Ben didn't want to stop kissing his wife. They only broke apart when they heard their sons wailing from the background.
“I guess your kiddoes doesn’t want a sister soon.” Nicolo joked and the crowd laughs once again.
The reception followed all the traditional celebration from throwing rice at them to symbolized fertility to first dance wherein guests held colorful paper streamers tied to the happy couple’s hands — so that they become entangled, this represents good wishes, love and luck for their future. Lastly, just before the guests leave, Courtney and Ben gave bomboniere, it is a small gift to the guests to say thank you for attending.
"I love you so much Mrs. Venoso, my beautiful wifey." Ben kissed her passionately as they entered the hotel room.
"I love you so much more Mr. Venoso, my handsome hubby." Courtney kissed him back.
Ben’s original plan to ravish his wife vanishes because both of them are exhausted adding up their kids who are just staying at the adjacent room as they are together with their mother. They decided to get them instead and took them to their room.
Courtney felt really blessed for having Ben as her husband and she called it faith because she never thought their deal will end up not as his contract bride.
