Damon's Pov
DAMON'S POV;
"What did I tell you the other time?" I asked, her breathing harsher with her chest rising and falling more often than normal. Good.
"I...I...I can't." She stuttered. Then I spread her legs apart. "Antonio please don't." I wasn't listening to her and unbuckled my belt. I gripped both her legs and yanked her closer to me causing her to yelp. I took her clothes and ripped it. It was a barrier and I placed myself at her entrance. "He was one of them." I paused.
"What are you saying?" I cocked a brow.
"My uncle...he...I mean we had..." I tossed my shirt at her.
"Get out."
"Anton..."
"I said get out!" She immediately wore the shirt and jumped down from the bed before hurrying out of my room. I felt the anger I had never felt before course through my veins. Trying to calm my anger was useless because I wanted to rip Vito apart... desperately.
*******
"Where is she, Field?" I questioned, my hands were in my pocket as my gaze was fixated intently on the man kneeling before me, consumed by fear. "You refused to pay your debt, and you suggested I have your daughter." I leaned my hands on the table before him, my semblance was calm as I stared at the trembling man. "What exactly do you take me for?" I growled.
Field's eyes widened, shock displayed in his expression. "N...no of course not."
"Then where is she?!" I slammed my fist on the table. My fingers raked through my hair as I turned away in frustration. I turned, almost abruptly, facing Hales.
"I do not know. She escaped. I tried to get her, but she escaped." His head was in a bowed position, and his knees were connected to the cold flooring with his hand slightly bent into a fist completely emphasizing his fright. Knowing what his superior could do to him if his dates go against his wishes. I knew he was lying.
Then I straightened and turned to the other gang members, folding my hands behind me. "We had a deal Field, and we both know there is no turning back. You were unable to pay your debt on time, even your brother is in debt, and therefore insisted on giving me your daughter." I whirled around, in a calm way this time. "Now you are going against your offer, you should know the repercussions of your actions," I stated.
"I..I j..just need more time. I'll f..find her and bring her to you. I give you my word."
He raised his head. "I'm going to spare you this once Field. Just this once, just because of your daughter."
A sense of relief washed over Field's body. He inhaled into his nostrils a load of air as he, without thinking, thanked me profusely, as though I were a god before he was halted.
"You haven't earned my forgiveness." I scowled. "Unless you find that girl and bring her here before the end of this month," I stated.
"I..I need more time, a month wouldn't be enough." He watched me frown as he trembled.
I crouched, giving him a stern gaze. If I were you Field, I would get to my feet, run out that door and start searching if I didn't want my head to be off my neck at the end of the month. My patience is low. You fail, you die. "Is that clear?" I demanded.
"Y-yes boss." Hale's eyes went behind his boss and the rest of my gang. We said nothing, nor did anything other than stare blankly. His gaze met mine again.
"You're dismissed," I ordered, before Hales got to his feet, showed him their usual respect, and turned to his heel. The door was shut, and one of the gangs, certainly the highest in command among the others, walked up to his boss as if perceiving he needed something.
"Do you need anything boss?" He asked.
"Keep a close eye on him. Make sure he's doing as he's told and not trying to escape". I turned to Leo. "And once he has found her, you know what to do." Leo bowed swiftly, wearing his hoodie before retreating while watching him exit. He had it in his mind. That come what may, he must have George's daughter, Elena.
°°°°°°°°°°°°°°°
The news came to me that night as Leo had brought a hard drive to me. As a fourteen-year-old mafia, I wanted to know what it was Seth was up to. I played the video and watched it.
He took a cigarette from the side of his ear, positioned it in between his lips before reaching for his lighter, and moved it to the bottom of his cigarette. A wisp of smoke escaped from his mouth the moment he took out the cigarette.
His colleagues, customers, money, he was going to lose everything if he didn't find this girl within a month. But that was none of my concern. He slid his cigarette in between his lips once again.
He released his cigarette from between his first and middle fingers, crushing it with frustration as it dropped to the cemented flooring. His fingers raked through his hair as he brooded on what to do. The cigarette seemed to make matters worse, it couldn't help him figure out where she'd have disappeared to. He seemed to be deep into contemplation. The words replayed in his head, as he balled his fist.
"He really doesn't know where his daughter is."
"That's impossible."
"He ran away from his family months ago. They moved to another place."
"You'll tell me about that later."
That wasn't even enough for him to pay the rent for his apartment. He reached into his pocket as an idea struck him. Greg, his brother from another father, was there to assist him. He could help track this idiot down since he was an expert. He continued to scroll, searching for the letter 'G'.
But unintentionally his eyes spotted Grace, his ex-wife. She had bothered him about her daughter two days ago, yesterday and today she was doing the same thing. A frustrated groan escaped from his mouth as he leaned backwards. He hated her so much, and cursed himself for having married her, even now that she was bound on ruining his reputation.
Just like her daughter, he couldn't tell the differences between them. The same daring attitudes, and the same semblance. He found himself feeling a bit relieved Elena was gone along with her mother, but another side of him wanted....no needed her here. As idiotic as he thought she and her mother were, he knew she was the key to his freedom.
One thing he was certain about was that Amanda wasn't aware of her son's death. Even though she was far away, she still haunted him. If she figured out Jason was dead, and dead because he(George) killed him, she could stab him in the heart without hesitation.
That was Seth, he feared death. Although death could be painful, and at the same time not painful, there was a certainty that his own kind of death would be agonizing, even he knew it. With the pain he has caused his family and other people, he would have made a lot of enemies who wished him a painful death.
His thoughts exactly, his hands trembled as he tried to ignore the message. Then he found the contact he was searching for before clicking it.
"Greg."
Sensing his discomfort, Greg said; "You know where to find me."
By the time he hung up, Seth put his phone into his pocket as he stood, walking over to his drawer, he pulled it and took out a new gun he'd gotten two weeks ago for protection. Setting it, he put it into his crazy jeans and hurried out of his apartment.
His eyes dropped to see an envelope at his doorstep. He picked it up before opening it, taking another folded paper out of it, he unfolded it and read.
One day.
One day? What is this doing at his doorstep, and what did one day mean? Perhaps they had started to count his days of limit. A sense of fright overwhelmed him, he looked sideways, searching for someone he knew he would probably not find.
He inhaled a huge amount of air, before proceeding, feeling watched, and uncomfortable. Then from the corner of his apartment came someone in black. With a face cap that hid half of the face, and a hoodie that covered a portion of the cap as well. Eyes on the sprinting Seth, lips curved into a smirk, this person surely knew he was getting intimidated.
A mysterious person is a quiet person, just like this one. He was after Seth, one who seeks revenge, who wanted to ruin everything about him, who wanted him to lose everything, his life inclusive. Son of a bitch. Mystery guy would do anything in his power to bring him down, and the girl he was searching for, he would never find, because he would make that highly impossible.
Within the twinkle of an eye, the mystery guy was gone, leaving Seth in total petrification.
I opened my eyes and then rubbed it a little as I thought about my dream. Dreams and their weirdness at times. I never knew Seth's thoughts, but I always knew what he was planning and made sure to be steps ahead of him. But the part where he killed his older brother, Jason was true. I knew too much about George because I always had my eyes on him. And the way he treated his daughter...I guess that's why this dream was so detailed.
I moved a little before feeling a weight on top of me. I looked down and noticed Elena on my bed with me. I furrowed my brows. Had I not told her to get out?
"What are you doing here?" I asked, too sleepy.
"You misunderstood me." She said and I glanced up at her. "Vito was..."
"Never mind that. What did Derek say to you?"
"He said a lot of things that scared me and I knew he wouldn't hesitate to do what he wanted to in front of everyone so I ran." She said and I chuckled. That was the reason he had so much interest in his eyes. Fuck him.
"It's fine, come here." She hesitated.
"You're not mad at me anymore?" She asked innocently and I shook my head, hoping she could see it with how dark it was. Then she made herself comfortable before sleeping on me again. I stroked her hair, till she fell asleep. I looked at the ceiling, contemplating. I really couldn't leave her defenceless.
