Leo's Room
ELENA'S POV;
The drive home was so quiet, it was scary. Jessie had come out of the building searching for me, but Antonio already had me in his arms while Derek, without saying a word, left us to go to his own place. He was really nonchalant. When Jessie saw both me and Antonio and had froze, knowing she was probably in trouble for doing what it was that she did. But thankfully, Leo rescued her and took her with him. While it remained Antonio and me. He was really vexed as he looked out of his side window. I didn't know what to expect now because he was saying absolutely nothing. I was still drunk and my eyes were also looking out the window staring at the scenario taking place outside, with the lights and the cars that passed us by.
I expected him to say something, but he was quiet throughout our drive. When we arrived at his home, he didn't wait for the driver to get down, instead, he highlighted from the car, came to my side and opened my side door before lifting me. He walked into the building after that and everything was beginning to become quite dizzy. I didn't remember what happened after that because I drifted into sleep in his arms.
I woke up the next day and found myself in Leo's room. Wait...I looked around. Why was it dark in here? Oh...right, I slept all through the morning and afternoon after the clubbing. I understood the reason I had my migraines now. I groaned. The alcohol had worn off but I still felt nauseous. I rose up and staggered because the room began to spin, my vision wasn't a hundred percent clear yet but after a while of massaging my forehead and shutting my eyes, everything seemed perfectly normal. I needed to speak to Antonio. I knew he'd be mad at me right now and was trying hard not to let it out. But it would be so much better if he let it out without giving me the silent treatment. I knew I was wrong to have gone to the club, I knew it was wrong for him to have seen me in his brother's arms. But I'd thought he'd been the one. I'd mistaken Derek for Antonio.
I walked over to the door and it opened. I moved backwards when I saw Antonio walk in with a laptop in his hand. He looked at me with absolutely no expression. He moved closer... towards me but shifted his gaze to his laptop again and pressed some buttons. I really had no idea what he was up to, but I really wanted to know what was going on in his head. He moved towards me and continued to move towards me till I was sitting on the bed.
"What were you doing in the club?" He questioned and my heart skipped.
He stopped whatever he was doing on his MacBook and turned it towards me. My eyes widened as I saw myself and Jessie sneaking out of the house.
"It's amusing how you think you can outsmart me. I saw everything even before you both left. I said absolutely nothing because I wanted to see what it was you really wanted to do. You lied about going to Jessie's place, and instead went to one of my clubs, wearing that." He pointed at my outfit. As I sat on the bed the dress was so close to giving me off. "And I'm certain you're wearing no panties underneath." I looked away. "Or are you?" He spoke calmly but his tone was deadly and foreboding. His actions were unpredictable at the moment. "Spread them." I looked up, stunned. "Why are you stunned, it's not the first time."
"But..."
"Don't make me repeat myself." He said and I slowly spread my legs. He breathed in like he was trying hard to hold himself. "This was what you wore when you were with Derek and when you danced with him, wasn't it?"
"I swear I didn't mean to dance with him. I thought..."
"You fucking thought what?! You're always assuming stupid shit! You choose to be blind about something and then the next thing is to tell me what you thought? What the fuck are you thinking?!" I shrank back. "I'm not even annoyed with the fact that you blew our plan. Why would you fucking get drunk in a club?! Why didn't you listen to me huh? What's come over you these days?" He questioned.
"I just want to be free Antonio. I don't want to be trapped, I don't want to feel trapped. I'm tired of staying in here all day and doing absolutely nothing!"
"Do you even know the reason I don't fucking want you out of this place? Do you know how risky it is to let you out of my sight?! You're thinking about your freedom while I'm searching for ways to protect you! Do you even understand the kind of world you're living in at the moment? Or you think you're just some random teenager in high school?!" His words shut me up. "Let me make it clearer to you since you don't understand yet."
He grasped my hand and took me with him, down the corridor as he walked towards the torture room. My heart thumped with petrification. What was he doing? Why was he leading me to the torture room? I tried to stop, struggling to get away from his hand but his grip was too tight.
"Antonio." There was fear in my voice as they led me through the torture rooms where I could see the blood of many of his victims. We stopped right in front of a room and he opened it. My eyes widened when I saw Vito, his hands tied upwards and his body hanging. His breathing was barely escaping his lungs and his body was mercilessly beaten.
"This is what happens when any man lays his hands on you." He said and tears glistened in my eyes as I looked up at Vito.
"But he's your friend," I said and he humorlessly chuckled.
