Instilled fear

The awe-stricken female sat there in a pool of her own blood while staring at the enormous man in front of her.

He looks like a beast ready to devour anything he sees.

She could see his shoulders tensed up, his scary eyes were closed for some moments.

Daciana couldn't understand what was going on with the Alpha king.

His sudden behavior scare her to the core.

A sudden pain shoot through her and a painful scream escaped her mouth as she stared at her arm.

It is getting more worse than she thought. The thin nail did pierce deep into her skin and she was hurting.

She stared at her arm then hissed loudly as the pain intensified. It was an excruciating feeling for her.

She thought of what to do but arrived at nothing, what if she decides to leave and that get this already enraged beast more angered?

She feared that the worst might happen at this moment.

Alpha Connor opened his eyes after a long time only to see a bleeding female squatting in front of him with mortal horror visible in her eyes.

Everything else vanished, he cursed under his breath while balling his hand in a fist thinking of how she ended up hurting herself.

He had let his mind take over him few minutes ago, even right now, he wants her gone far away from him to avoid hurting her more.

His hatred for her has gotten more intense, he won't be able to control or stop what he will do to her.

Alpha Connor mind link Dolphus and in no time, he was right at the door. He is always at the beck and call of the Alpha king.

"Good morning Alpha king" he greeted politely, his head bowed in respect.

Noticing that the Luna spent the night here, he didn't want to trespass or see what he is not supposed to see.

Alpha Connor didn't bother responding to him, he never did to any one. That didn't stop the great relationship between him and Dolphus.

"Take her with you and get her treated, also make sure no one come in here till I give an order" he commanded.

Dolphus raised his head finally to see daciana hissing in pain despite the fear in her eyes.

He furrowed his eyebrow stepping into the room.

"Yes Alpha king" Dolphus knew better than to ask questions.

He atleast knows what is wrong with him, the Luna being miles away from him will be the best thing else, he'd kill her before he realize that she is his mate and not just an Omega.

Dolphus has spent roughly seven years beside the Alpha king to understand his personality.

All this isn't new to him but then, he hopes that the Alpha king gets himself back soon. The nightmare hunting him makes him hurt others too.

"Please follow me Luna, you are bleeding badly" he said to her.

Daciana nodded and stood up, she consciously avoided the Alpha's blood filled eyes.

All she wants right now is to be out of here. Each step she took out of the room crackled like a bacon dumped in a full pot of oil.

Eluding from here means everything to her at this point. She needed to take a break from all this trauma.

being a slave to Alpha Connor is traumatising. Even without him killing her, she might get depressed soon and die.

Her poor wolf wouldn't enjoy what it feels like to have a mate that cares and value her.

Daciana hastily left the room with Dolphus carefully following behind her.

She wish Alpha Connor wouldn't call on her today and forever.

Alpha Connor fell on the bed the moment they were out of the room.

Again, he shut his eyes tightly as he tried to get rid of the images in his head.

There were there to stay and to hunt him.

He tried, he did tried to move on . He tried to forget what happened back then but how can he when those people still lives?

How can he forget when his brother's painful whimpers still rang in his ear every now and then?

He can't get over it when he haven't seek for his revenge!

Alpha Connor stood up, he hit the wall consecutively clenching and unclenching his jaw.

His palm bruised up, they became red that instant.

He felt hurt, angry, sad and furious with his mind wandering around the what ifs.

If only his parents and brother are here, his life wouldn't have been the same with the life he is living now.

His father loved him and his brother dearly and his mother could do anything to make her both sons happy.

Him and his brother were like best friends. Alpha Connor didn't care if he was younger than him.

It was always them and them. He miss his family, he miss them greatly.

Right there, Alpha Connor made up his mind to pay those murderers and hunger for power filled omegas a visit.

He laughed dryly. A laugh that held anger, pure rage and fury.

Paying them a pleasant surprise will be so sweet. It will be a good day for him and before now, Alpha Connor promised to come back for a retaliation.

His comeback will take them by surprise, that's another promise he has made.

Soon enough, they will be fulfilled.

Different types of blood will be flowing and heads will be rolling on the floor on that day.

Daciana screamed as the medicine man dress her wound, she kept hissing over again. The pain was crucifying.

"All done Luna please make sure you take enough rest and don't stress your hand" the medicine man said standing up from his earlier position.

Daciana nodded her head gratefully muttering a thank you and he was gone just like he came leaving her with the blatherskite young female seated beside her bed.

"How do you feel my Queen?" Kaira asked looking at her arm.

If only Daciana can vividly explain how she feels.

"My arm feels numb, any slight movement makes it hurt like hell" she replied.

"I wonder why you didn't heal up immediately, are you a human my Queen? But I heard that you are an Omega, how can it be? I am so confused"

Kaira rants while Daciana stared at her with mouth agape. Doesn't she gets tired of talking?

Now which question did she want her to answer? She too wonder why she didn't heal up.

She thought that her power was back? Wasn't she the one that woke up with no injury on her yesterday? Why didn't she heal up today?

As she thought about it, she knows she doesn't have an answer to that.

"I am not a human Kaira and yes, I am an Omega. As to why I am not healing up, I really don't have an answer to that, I am as confused as you are" she said sincerely.

There is not point lying to her and still gain nothing.

"I am so sorry about that my Queen, it must hurt a lot" Kaira said sympathetically staring at Daciana's arm.

The cut is deep and the pain must really be much.

She Somehow felt her pain knowing how well deep cut hurts.

Kaira has gone through that in the past before she was brought to the Alpha's tower.

Her master will tie her up and roast any part of her body he dim fit.

Behind those smiles, she had gone through a whole lot. The past she is trying very hard to put behind her.

If not for Alpha Connor, she'd still be in that hellhole.

"It does hurt, it hurts a lot" Daciana replied while nodding her head.

"I am sure the pain will reduce before tomorrow, I will make sure I help you apply the herbs every morning my Queen, I will be glad to be at your service"

Kaira said smiling like a ten year old female which made Daciana chuckle.

"Please call me Daciana, it is more preferable than calling me a Queen I am not" she said to her.

Kaira giggled and shook her head.

"It will sound disrespectful calling you by your name, please allow me to call you my Queen, you are this pack's Luna no matter how you are being treated today, that doesn't matter. You are our Queen"

She replied trying to explain her point, Daciana had no choice than to nod her head.

There is no way she will win this with Kaira.

"Fine, but you should know that we are friends okay?"

"I am glad you see me as a friend, thank you my Queen"

Their moment was cut short when Daciana sighted beta Dolphus.

Her heart summersaulted on seeing him. Fear imprinted in her. Seeing him here always rise her anxiety to it's peak.

Dolphus visits her only on Alpha Connor's order.

Is he requesting for her presence again?
