Nine
Jordan
I woke up from my shoulders being shaken. I slowly open my eyes and yawn. I blinked slowly and looked over to the person and see it was Landon.
"Mhmm?" I asked while I stretched out my legs in such little room.
"Jaxon said we're almost there. He's pumping gas right now, and Denise went to the bathroom. I don't know if you need to go too." He said while he yawned and gave a goofy smile.
"Oh yeah, but I'll feel comfortable if one of you guys are in the store with us." I said while I was unbuckling the seatbelt.
"Oh, okay." He started to get out of the car so I followed out.
We walked towards the door but when I closed the car door, I didn't see Jaxon next to the car. We walked in and I went to the restroom. Denise was washing her hands and I told her that Landon is walking somewhere in the store. She said okay and left me, so I did what I had to do and washed my hands.
When I walked out I was shoved against the wall, with my arms pinned against my side while their hand went to cover my mouth.
I had my eyes closed from the impact, so I was slowly peeling them open. I sighed in relief when I saw his eyes, but then grew angry. "What the hell Jaxon" I tried to to say, but it went like, "wah tha heww acon?"
He smiled and took away his hand from my mouth, "I need to teach you more techniques. You have one good one, but when someone does this, how are you going to knock them out?" He raised his eye brow, and peeling me off the wall.
"I don't know, I didn't even know that you were going to do that." I smacked his chest and walked towards the door.
"See! Perfect example, you didn't know. So, what if that really happens, and it's not me?"
"I don't know Jaxon. I don't want to think about it, because you said nothing will happen to me." I said while I looked over my shoulder to him and see him slowing down staring at me.
Exactly.
"Look- Jordan-"
"How many more hours?" I said while I walked out and heard the bell chimes above me. I walked towards the car and already see Landon and Denise in, but there're in the front seats. I walk over to the back but my arm gets pull back and spun me around.
"Look Jordan. I didn't mean to upset you. I was just thinking ahead and what if I'm not there, like when you're in the bathroom. I just want you to be safe and know how to get out situations like that." He said pulling me into a hug.
"Jaxon. I just didn't want to think about those situations. Well, not now a least. Just tell me how many more hours." I said while I looked up to him.
"Okay. And two and half. But I'm going to go asleep, because driving for almost thirty one hours can really do some harm to your body." He said giving me a lopsided smile.
My eyes grew big, "what?! I was awake with you. How is that almost thirty one hours?!"
"You fell asleep for awhile, I think for a whole day?" His eyebrows furrowed, "I don't know, but come on. We're almost there." He leans down and pecks my lips and then pulls me to the back seat and takes a seat while I do so, and close the door.

Times passed. Jaxon fell asleep, his head was on my lap while I played with his hair, making him fall asleep faster.
Landon and Denise was singing while I couldn't help but laugh each time they tried to hit a high note. Landon would sometimes stare at her for awhile while she would laugh, but the car would end up going to another lane or go off road. So he would snap his head back and watch the road.
Jaxon woke up when we made it into the city. I was looking out of the window, staring at this beautiful city. Jaxon told Landon where to go, and we ended up at a tire shop.
I grew confused while I looked to Jaxon and see him with a huge smile. His eyes held happiness, he couldn't even wait and rushed out of the car. Each of us did the same while we heard tool hit each others.
Jaxon walked up to the open garage and whistled.
I walked up to Landon and Denise, "Landon. Who's he looking for?" I whispered to him while we walked towards him.
"How would I know? I met him in Chicago." He whispered back. We looked at Jaxon and that's when two people popped up from behind and under the car that they were working on.
"Is-Is that Jaxon?" A deep voice said while he walked out of the shaded garage. His clothes was covered in oil and his face had some dirt mixed with oil smeared on it.
"Who else?" Jaxon said while they walked to each other. The guy, he was the same height as him, but he had dirty blonde hair and green eyes. They hugged and then the second person came out.
"Jaxon?" She said.
She was the same as the guy, blonde hair and green eyes. She had oil smeared on her face while her hair was pinned up in a messing bun.
She starts to walk faster while she cleans her hand on the rag she has. Jaxon pulls apart from the guy and looks towards her. She smiles big and that's when she starts to run towards him and jumps on him wrapping her legs around his waist and her arms wrap around his neck while she stuffs her head in his neck. His arms wrap around her back and spins her.
I felt my heart stop for a quick second and time seemed to stop while I see them laugh and smile at each other. My heart tugs different ways. I suck in a breath while everything went back to normal and he sets her down with a smile.
He looks over to me and he moves her to his side while they walk to the other guy, "Guys," he looks to Landon, Denise and me, "this is Clay and Cass. My child hood friends."
He says, but when I look to 'Cass' she looks up at him with something in her eyes, but when she looks over to me she slowly lost that smile and something else was in her eyes.
Jealously.
