Sixteen

Jaxon

I walked into the house and made my way towards the couch. I sat down and sighed. I closed my eyes and draped my arm over my eyes.

I didn't know where they were, but I'm not going to look for them for a while.

I didn't know I crashed out until someone was touching my face. I slowly open my eyes, but my hand was now covering my eyes.

"Stop Jordan." Her fingers were soft but I wasn't in the mood to be touched or in a mood to talk.

I moved my arm back over my eyes and shifted a little till I got comfy and started to go back asleep. Her finger went down my jaw towards my neck. "Jordan. I'm not in the mood. I'll talk to you later. Let me sleep." I said while my voice was hoarse.

Her finger trailed down my arm, and that's when I grew frustrated. "Jordan. I'm not playing-" I moved my hand and open my eyes but they weren't Jordan's eyes.

Cass.

I groaned and threw my head back. "I don't want to catch up right now Cass. I want to go asleep." I closed my eyes but her hand went around mine.

"But I want to talk."

"But I don't want to." I grunted. I retrieved my hand back and rested it on my chest.

"Come on Jaxon. I haven't seen you for years, and then you come out of no where and all you've been doing is sleeping." She whines.

"Maybe because I drove all the way here. Maybe I'm trying to keep my girlfriend safe. And maybe I just want to sleep." I clenched my jaw and took a deep breath through my nose.

"Why is she your girlfriend?" Her voice turned to disgust in seconds. My eyebrows furrowed and I slowly open my eyes and see her glaring at me.

"Because I love her. And I want to spend the rest of life with her. So maybe that's why she's my girlfriend."

Her face turned red and she sat right next to me. "But you don't even know her." She said, while her voice held anger and was starting to get loud.

"Yes I do. And I know I love her." I said while I moved away from her. "Look, Cass. I don't want to talk about my relationship, not if your Jordan then it will happen. But you're not. You're Cass. So please don't talk about my relationship and let me sleep." I was about to close my eyes, by she gripped my face.

"Look Jaxon. She not good for you. She made you start looking behind your back for gangs-"

I barked out a laugh. "You think she's the reason I'm hiding." I shook my head while I pushed back her hands and stood up. "You're wrong, and please. If you ever say Jordan is not good for me, then you need help. She keeps me sane. She helps keep my demons away, and I think I just picked one up right now."

Her face turned red and she opened her mouth to say something but I wasn't going to listen to her. "Now. Don't talk about Jordan, or my relationship. I'm going to sleep. Let me sleep and please don't touch my face. It's only for Jordan to touch and kiss." I winked at her and turned around and walked up stairs.

I found myself in the middle of the hall way looking around. I heard voices but I didn't know where it was coming from. I walked to the end and push open the door. I felt my body relax and I walked in. She was laying on her back while she was talking.

I'm surprised that she didn't hear the door open, but I slowly walked over to her, trying to stay quite. I took off my shoes and I looked to her face and see her eyes closed while she smiled.

"I can't believe you did that to a little girl." She laughed and I slowly walked next to the bed and laid down while wrapping my arm around her stomach.

Her body went stiff and her hand went on my arm. "Jaxon?"

"Mhm." I said while I pulled her closer.

"I'm so-"

"Hey!" I felt my eyebrows furrowed together and I slowly open my eyes.

"How the hell did you get here?" I said while I pushed myself up and saw his skinny ass walk out of the bathroom.

"Not telling. But I'm am going to say this." He walked up to me. I felt Jordan sit up next to me and was going to listen to what Greyson was going to say.

He open his mouth and acted like he was going to talk but he punched the side of my jaw.

"Greyson!" She yelled.

I popped my jaw, and licked my lips. He took a step back while he held his hand and had a small smile.

"No Jordan. He deserve that! He made you heart broken!" He looked at me with a glare. "You broke my main B's heart! How fûckin dare you!" He said while his face turned red.

"Greyson! Shut up!" She yelled at him.

I stood up and he took another two back. "Look. You had it coming. I came all the way here waiting for you to come so it can happen." He said while he looked at me with fear.

I had a blank face and blinked slow. "Come here fûcker." I said while I clenched my jaw.

His eyes grew big, "what! No! You've punched me and threw me around before! So it's pay back-"

"Come here you little fûcker and let me smash your face in!" I took a step towards him but he took off in a sprint towards the door. I was going to go after him but her arms wrapped around waist and pulled me back till my legs hit the the bed which made me fall backwards. I fell on my side, so I wouldn't fall right on her.

I moved around till I can see her and I had a smile. "Don't smile at me. You almost scared him to death." She said while she tried to have a glare but my smile never left.

"I did that so he can leave. I want to go asleep. And I want to sleep with my girlfriend and have no one touch my face. And I want some one to hold." I wrapped my arms around her and shifted us till she was laying on top of me while she looked down at me.

"So. Would you want to take a nap with me?" I asked. She stared down at me with sad eyes.

"Talk to me Jaxon." He voice was soft but it made my heart drop.

"I don't have anything to talk about." My arms loosened around her waist and then she sits up. She straddles my waist and she places her hands on my chest.

"Jaxon. I know what I did was wrong, but if you didn't want to go back to the house and see your childhood, why take us there?"

I clenched my jaw and then picked her up and set her next to me. "Just a stupid thought." I turned my back towards her and started to close my eyes.

Her arms wrapped around me while her head rested on my back. "Please. Please don't ever block me out. We have to help each other out ourselves together again. So please, let me help you and don't block me out."

"I'll tell you some day. But right now is not a good time Jordan."

"Okay." Her arms tighten around me. I felt her move around and I jumped a little when her voice was next to my ear. "I love you." She kissed my neck and then went back to resting her head on my back.

"I love you too."
