Jaxon
Months past by. Months since me and Jordan became closer. I cleaned myself up, and I know Jordan noticed since she's always says something about it.
Landon did too. I laughed at what he's doing.
Let's just say, I'll be calling him Dr. Xyne for awhile. Denise taught him some things but he's still can't even look at needles without getting light headed.
Three month since the thing with the kidnaping, I asked her what he said about her having babies. I asked it like a joke but I got a different reaction.
This is how it went.
I ran my hand through her hair while she rested her head on my chest. My mind kept replaying the memories of her screaming on the chair. Yelling, saying that if I loved her why I kissed Cass.
But then my mind went to my brother, and how he said he was going to kill her but my mind replayed one thing. -"since she can't have kids."
I blinked a couple of times and then looked down to her, "Jordan." Her eyes found mine and I asked, "do you want to have kids some day?"
She blinked a couple of times and I saw her face pale. "W-what?" Her voice cracked.
I sat up against the head board and smiled at her. "Do you want to have ki-"
"I'm sorry- i-i cant do this." She got up and ran towards the bathroom closing the door close and locking it.
I blinked and stared at the door. What? I got up and made my way towards the door and knocked. "Jordan...I won't ask again, but was it because I asked that question?" My mouth went dry and my hand turned clammy.
The other side was silent and now I know silent and be deadly. The thick air that surround me was dreading. I licked my lips and went to knock on the door but it was pulled open.
Her eyes were puffy and blood shot red and my heart ached because I was the one that caused it. "Jord-"
"I need to tell you something. If we want to be together, I have to be honest with you." She took a deep breath in and straighten her shoulders. She walked past me and sat on the edge of the bed. I followed her and sat on the floor right in front of her.
"When-When I was in the hospital and-um." She looked down at her hands. "When we had that little moment of ours, the doctor came in after my surgery-and-and." She looked up took deep breaths in. "This is too hard." She murmured to herself.
"Jordan-"
"No Jaxon." She took a deep breath in and shook her hands. "I can do this." She gave me a small smile and continued. "The doctor came in and told me I had a fetus."
My heart stopped and my lungs felt like they got crushed.
"But I lost it and my uterus got infected by a tear and from the fetus." She took another breath in and looked at her hands again. "He said my uterus was so badly infected that he had no choice but to cut it out." She whipped her cheek. "I-I can't have-ki-kids of my o-own." She chocked out. Her shoulders moved with her quiet sobs.
I quickly got up and held her close while my heart hurt hearing her cry on my chest. I didn't what to say, so I sat there quiet and held her close to my chest.
****
"Landon." I said while I pulled out of the drive way.
"What you want hoe?" He said through the other line of the phone. I had the line hooked through Bluetooth from the car so his voice carried out through the car.
"Landon shut up, I'm picking you up. I need your- wait never mind. I have something better, I'll show you when it's done. Okay?" I made a u-turn and went the direction to Greyson.
"Okay. Anyway, I couldn't go because I have to go to fûckin school! Can you fûckin believe that!? Denise set me up for this college and is making me do classes with her! Can you believe that!?"
"I can, well, you do want to become Dr. Xyne don't you?" I said while I had a smile on my face and turned another corner.
"Well yeah-"
"Then shut the fûck up."
"Suck a tit Jaxon."
"I take things slow, you know. To set her on edge." I smirked but I cringed at myself.
"Don't listen to what I said Lan-"
"You're a loser."
I rolled my eyes but chuckled, "okay. Okay. Well I have to go, I'm already at the place I need to pick up someone. I'll call you later or I might stop by. Not sure."
"Alright bîtch."
"Bye!" I clicked and got out of my car. I walked towards the door and knocked three times hard.
"Greyson! Open up!" The door open with his eyes wide.
"Why are you knocking so damn-"
"Change. I need you to help me with this."
*****
"This one! She loves this color!!" He pointed at the thick stone.
"Bîtch! I'm not made out of money! Just something to mean a lot to both of us, not to show it off!" I pushed him away from it and I walked along the glass boxes looking at them all.
"A woman has to show her ring off. So, this one." I looked towards his finger and saw a pink diamond sitting perfectly there.
I stared at it and I can see it laying on her finger nicely. "What's her ring size?" I asked not even looking at him but just continued to stare at it.
"Seven."
"So this one huh?" I looked up and see the sells men staring down at the rock. I smiled and looked back down at it.
"Yeah. Can I have a size seven?"
"Yes you can." He smiled at me and bent down and reached for it and looked at the size and smiled. "Perfect. Let me get the box."
I looked towards Greyson and see him with his hands next to his mouth and teary eyes. "I approve."
I rolled my eyes and pushed him away. "I wasn't going to even ask you."
"I still approve."
*****
I dropped Greyson off because I know he's loud ass mouth will ruin everything. I drove towards the place while I placed the box in the cup holder.
I got out the papers and parked the car. I check my phone and saw I was almost late. So I made sure that the ring was cover with my sweater and I locked the doors and ran towards the main doors.
I ran towards the front desk and slammed the papers down. "I'm here for my kid."
*****
I looked towards him while I stopped at a red light. He looked at me too while he held his bag close to himself. "I think it's kinda cool that your name is almost like mine. Jason. Mines Jaxon."
He stared at me with those grey orbs and didn't say anything. "Well, I guess you can call me dad." I smiled.
I was going to say something but the person honked at me. I clenched my jaw and drove when I saw I was still stopped at the green light.
"Look. I need you to hold this box." I reached in the cub holder and for the box. "I'm going to marry your 'mom' today, but I want you to be the one that gives her the ring okay?" I look over to him and see him looking at the ring.
"You want me to give it to her?" He asked. I was surprised at first but I didn't want him to stop talking.
"Yeah. Since your our son now. I want you to give it to her and bring this family together."
"Okay."
"So, what do you like to do?" I said driving to the little hill I told Denise to take Jordan too.
And then he shut down again. So the ride over there was quiet and he would play with the window, by rolling it up and down.
I didn't want to lock it because at least he's doing something. Then just sitting there.
So I pulled up to the hill and I see Landon's car and I quickly shut down the car and got out. I told Jason to leave his bag in there and bring his papers and the ring. He only said okay and ran close to me.
"Okay." I bent down till I was eye level to him.
"You'll hide behind that tree." I pointed and I see Jordan and Denise there talking and laughing. But I point to the tree behind them. "Then I will look at the tree direction and you'll come out. You'll come out with the box and the papers in your hand, okay?"
He looked at the tree and then to Jordan. "Is she my mom?"
I smiled and nodded, "yeah, she's your mom."
He smiled and looked down. "Okay."
"Okay. Let's go."
I ran up the hill and he ran behind the tree. Denise was the first to look towards me and she knows what's going to happen so she got up and dusted her pants. "Jordan, I have to go, okay?" Then Jordan looks towards her but she sees me.
"Oh yeah, that's fine." She got up and hugged her. "Thank you for this."
She shook her head, "just a friendly thing to do." She looked at me and I nodded, she winked and acted like she was going to go to Landon's car but she went behind the tree and I see her taking out her phone.
"Hey." I said and gave her a hug and a quick peck.
"Hey."
"How was this?" I pointed to the food on the ground. She laughed and then looked down.
"It was fun. A lot of things came out of our mouths. A lot." She laughed. I smiled and lifted her chin up so I can I look at her.
"Jordan."
"Mhmm?"
I took a deep breath in, and got on one knee. She gasped while she looked down at me with wide eyes.
"Jordan. It would make me the happiest man to ever live, if you would become Jordan Hunt. I know our history was horrible but I want to start a new beginning. A new book. A new life. But I can't do it unless I have you right next to me. I promise I will love you and cherish you as long as I live. I promise to take care of this family with my heart, my soul, my life." I looked towards the tree and smile when I see Jason come out and shyly walk towards us. "I want to be a good father and I want to have your beautiful soul as his mother." Her eyes watered while tears slowly fell down. I reached for him but he ignored me and walked straight to Jordan.
"Hi mom." He smiled. She smiled while her lips shook as she held back her sob. He pushed the papers to her and she gently grabbed them and read it. She cried while her eyes held happiness. She went down and pulled him in for a hug and cried. He gave me the box and hugged her tight. She cried and her smile never left her face.
She pulled away as I held out the ring to her. "So, Jordan Johnson, would you do me the honor and become Jordan Hunt?"
"Yes. A million times, yes!" She jumped on me and I laughed. I took out the ring and grabbed her left hand. She stared at my eyes while I did the same as I slipped the ring on her finger.
I gave her a passionate kiss and held her close to me. "I love you."
"I love you too." I pulled Jason over and pushed him in the middle of us as we all hugged.
A new beginning, with a bright future ahead.
