“Am gonna gonna go check on my grandma now.. you should find something to do..” Jerry said.

“we'll go with you” Ace said. “oh..ok let's go” Jerry said, They drove to the hospital , Reaching the hospital, they went to the room she was receiving treatment.“Hey..rascals! ” Grandma said as she saw them walk in.

“Hi grandma, how are you doing” Jerry asked,“Am feeling better,doctor said I'll be good to leave in a week” she said.

They hanged around for some while and soon left the hospital. They were driving home, “My stomach's grumbling..let's go get something to eat ” Shaw said,“right..am hungry too” Jerry said.

“You're always hungry pal” Ace said and chuckled. Shaw bursted out laughing,Jerry ignored and continued driving, he stopped by a fast food restaurants,they walked in and took a empty table

They sat and ordered for foods and were served, they all ate,“i hope she's fine..” Shaw said,everything is gonna be fine” Ace said.

“She said men armed with guns guarded the house..” Jerry said, “Greg sent men to guide his son,I think he's gonna be back anytime soon” Ace said.

“we're gonna end this once and for all,we'll take out his son first then finish him!” Jerry said.

“it's not gonna be easy but I'll not stop fighting” Ace said. “you have my support ” Shaw said.“Yeah me too” Jerry said, They finished eating and Jerry paid the bills,They drove home to get some rest..

...........At Chris's place......

“just let me go,what exactly do you want from me!” Jane yelled at Chris,“shut up bitch..hey you go lock her up ” Chris said to one of his men.

Jane was dragged and kept in a dark empty room,she cried all day. she hadn't even eating anything since they left Greg's house,Chris had brought her to this old looking house,the place was empty when they first got there, but armed men soon arrived.

Chris was on the phone with his dad,His father was instructing him to leave the city immediately, “i shot him already, he's probably dead!..i think” Chris said.

“he's not dead, I am sure of that, you have to leave the city now! ” Greg yelled,“He killed my men Dad,I'll make sure he's dead before leaving this city ” Chris said

“ hughh..you're just as stubborn as your old man...I'll send more men to you. just stay safe till I return” Greg said to his son. Chris dropped the call, He rested his back on the chair he was sitting on and thought of what had transpired between him and Ace.

He couldn't believe Ace could kill all his men just like that,He knew he was facing a dangerous man!,He laid there and thought till he slept off.

He woke up few hours later yelling out loud,he just had the worst nightmare of his life, he saw Ace in his dream, Ace shot his dad in his dream. Ace was chasing after him when he woke up.

“Shit, that was a weird dream,he killed dad..he's dead already,there's no way he can kill him” Chris said shivering with fear.

His stomach grumbled,“Hey go get me something to eat..Buy for two” Chris said and handed his guard some money, His man left, He rested back waiting for food.

His guard soon came back with two sealed food,Chris took one and started eating, “go give her the other one” Chris said, His guard took the food and went to Jane's room.

“Boss..she won't open the door and is not responding” The guard said, Chris stood up and went to room,he opened the door and found nothing inside, “she's in the other room not here” His guard said.

“You were supposed to lock her here silly!” Chris yelled at the guard. He walked angrily to the next room and tried to open it but it was locked,“Hey open up..we have something for you!” Chris yelled.

“go away!!” Jane yelled from inside, “fine we'll just leave it here!” Chris said and dropped the food on the entrance, He left and went back to finish his food and rested for some minutes, “go check if the food is still there” Chris said to his guard.

His guard checked and came back,“It's still there” He said. “stupid thing!! ” Chris yelled and stood up,he angrily approached the door and banged hard,“Hey open the door now!” He yelled.

There was no response, “Hey?..,Alright that's it,Break down the door” Chris said to his guard. his guard pushed and kicked the door but it didn't move,Chris watched in disgust as the guard effortlessly pushed the door with his tiny body.

“Hey..hey..hey..go get George! ” Chris yelled at him,The guard walked out and came back with a tall muscular dude, “Break down the door” Chris said to him.

The muscular dude moved back a bit,And with a great push the door fell down heavily. dust rose in the room. Chris coughed as he entered the room He covered his nose with his hands.

He walked in and the dust went down,“Holy..shit!” He exclaimed..

Jane ran as fast as her legs could allow her, she ran deeper and deeper into the bushes, she had just escaped through Chris's window, she was running when she was suddenly saw someone standing near a tree.

She quickly ran to the person,it was a man. He couldn't see his face properly cause it's already dark,the moonlight was the only source of light.

“Hi Mr..can you please help me,I was kidnapped by someone..I need to get back home please ” Jane said breathing heavily.

“Easy Mam are you lost ” The man asked “i said I was kidnapped! ” Jane yelled. The man moved closer to her and the light shone on in his face. Jane instantly recognized him “wait you're one of them.. Nooo..stay away from me!” Jane said and tried to run away from him,She wasn't fast enough.

The man grabbed her and carried her on his shoulders, he faced the direction she was running from and started walking back..

“Alright everyone she's still nearby, grab your flashlights and fish her out!” Chris yelled, “yeahh!!” His men chorused.

“fetch me the bitch!!” Chris yelled, everyone suddenly paused,A man suddenly walked in carrying someone on his back,He suddenly dropped Jane down and she fell with a great thud.

“my man!!” Chris said and patted him, He turned to Jane who was groaning on the floor,“And you!...Try to escape one more time and I'll cut off your feet!” Chris yelled.

“No more food for you..take her to the room and tie her up! ” Chris yelled..

“Huggh..Am so tired today” Jerry said,“you ate too much at the restaurant yesterday, that's why you're tired!” Shaw said, “How does eating makes someone tired!” Jerry yelled angrily.

“Foods that contains protein and carbohydrates can make a person tired ” Ace said, “hughhh...whatever! ” Jerry yelled and left the room angrily.

“Did you make that up to piss him off” Shaw asked. “Wait you don't know too much protein might cause tiredness” Ace said.

“Of course..I knew. I was just confirming ” Shaw said and smiled awkwardly, “yeah..you definitely knew!” Ace said and giggled.

“Are you two couples just gonna sit there all day?” Jerry said as he walked back in,“Common we have a big day ahead of us!” Jerry yelled.

“Alright let's go get ready” Ace said and stood up,they all took their bath and ate breakfast. “Am gonna go check on my grandma first,then we'll go do the job when I'm back ” Jerry said.

“Alright am cool with that.. tell grandma I said hi! ” Ace said. Jerry nodded and left the room,he went to his car and drove to the hospital.

He went to his grandma and met the nurse injecting her. “oh,my son..you're here!” She exclaimed as she saw Jerry walked in,“I brought you a rose flower ” Jerry said and handed her a rose.

“my favourite.. smells nice” She said as she sniffed the flower, she dropped it on a table nearby,Jerry talked to her for some while.

“Alright Grandma, I think I'll be going now,I'll be back by noon” Jerry said,“Where are your friends..What are there names.. Ace!,And the other one ” She said.

“Oh..they are fine, Ace said hi” Jerry said. “oh my regards to him!” She said,“ok grandma, love you” Jerry said and left the room.

Jerry was all his grandma had,Her daughter (Jerry's mum) died in a car accident, and her husband lives no where near the city,Her husband(Jerry's Grandpa) had died too. Jerry stays in the city and sleep over in her place most times.

Jerry left the hospital and drove straight home,he got home and met Ace and Jerry talking,“oh..you're back,how's grandma ” Ace said.

“She's doing fine. just six days left and she'll be back home” Jerry said,“That's great ” Ace said.

“Alright its time!” Jerry said,They all got up and went to their rooms,they changed their clothes and suited up in the utility wears.

“wow..it really looks good on you” Jerry said as Ace walked in,“it's a little bit too tight for me and...” Jerry was talking when Shaw walked in. “Hahaha!!..You..you look..” Jerry laughed hard.

“The stupid cloth's too big” Shaw yelled,Ace chuckled.

“Alright am just gonna put on the bullet proof jacket, that's all” Shaw said,He went in back and changed his wears,he wore a bullet proof jacket. They went outside to Jerry's car and took their weapons, “Alright Annie, can you hear us” Shaw said to his walkie talkie.

Ace and Jerry stared at him,“What...Am just checking if it works ” Shaw said.

“how can she possibly answer you,she'd be busy or some...”, “Yeah am here ” A voice came from the walkie talkie and interrupted Jerry.

“see?..I was just checking..old man!” Shaw said. “What was that ” Jerry said and started approaching Shaw. “Did you just call me an old man” Jerry said. “emmmm,yeah...” shaw said.

“You stupid...” “cut it guys! we don't have time for this!” Ace yelled. Jerry stopped. “Alright, let's go ” Jerry said and went to his car.
