Episode 49

Ace rushed out holding the case. Brian soon joined him and they waited for a cab. A cab showed up and they waved it Down. “Quick let's go!" Ace said. They both hit in.

“Where to sir?" The cab man asked him. “To the Train station.. " Ace replied. “He wants to meet there again?" Brian asked. “Yes.." Ace replied. “you got your gun with you?" Brian asked. Ace nodded in affirmation.

“Emmm, are you guys cops? " The cabman asked. “Oh, yes. We're cops!" Ace replied. “Can I see your badge please? " He asked. “sorry, we left it back at home..." Ace said.

“Okay..." The cabman said. He slowly reached for his phone. “Here, I have my badge with me!" Brian suddenly said and showed the cabman his badge. “Oh, okay. Sorry.." The cabman said and continued driving.

“Why the hell do you have your badge with you!? " Ace asked. “You're welcome?. I just saved your ass there!" Brian replied. “Excuse me?” Ace asked. “He was slowly reaching for his phone. If he Successfully did, He might have called the Cops or something and you know what would have happened next! " Brian whispers to Ace.

“Oh, I get it..” Ace said. “You have some ammo in your car, right?" Brian asked. “Of course!" Ace replied. “Good, very good! " Brian said. The long ride continued for some more minutes.

They son came to a stop. Ace's car was still at the spot he left it. They paid the cabman and slowly walked to the car. Everywhere was quite as usual. It was a Sunday and people didn't seem to board a train today.

Ace walked to the car holding the case firmly. They got to the car and to their surprise, The battery was back and intact in it. Ace brightened up and got in. Brian got in the car too.

“We're right on time, I'll phone him now.." Ace said and picked his phone. He dialed Josh's line. He waited as the call was connecting. Josh finally picked up. “Hey, We're at the train station already. Bring the girl now.." Ace said.

“Where in the world did you keep your cell phone since day break. I was just about to kill her thinking you've canceled the deal!" Josh said. “Don't you fucking lay a single hand on her!" Ace said furiously. “Hahaha, I was just kidding. Wait for my men, they should be there in ten minutes.. ” Josh said.

“No!. You bring her over here and we'll exchange her for the money!" Ace said. “Hey, this is my game. My rule!. You wanted her alive, you follow the rules!" Josh said.

“Fine...we'll wait” Ace said. “Okay. Wait, what do you mean we'll wait?” Josh suddenly asked. “Sorry, I meant I'll wait!" Ace said. “Whatever, they are getting closer!" Josh said a d cut the call.

“what now?" Brian asked. “They are coming to get me, You should stay hidden till they take me. Here's the car key, make sure you follow them to wherever they Want to take me . Am pretty sure they'll blindfold me!" Ace said.

“And when I find the place, I'll call for backup?" Brian asked. “Whatever happens. Do not fucking call for backup!" Ace said. “Emm, okay.." Brian said.

“Okay, now hide somewhere close. Act fast and very sensibly! " Ace said. “Roger that!" Brian said, he got out if the car and went out of sight.

Ace took a deep breathe. A car soon showed up. “Oh my, this dude is now Rich?" Ace asked himself. The car was a black exotic one.

The car parked right in front of him. Three men dressed in suit alighted from the car. “Oh, they dress cool too!" Ace said and laughed. The men approached the car slowly.

They reached the car and knocked on the windshield. Ace walked out of the car holding the case. “Raise your hand.." One of the men said to him Ace complied and slowly raised his both hands up.

The man searched him thoroughly and found his gun. He brought a black bag and covered his face with it. “Wanna hand it over? " He asked Ace. “No, thanks. I can carry it myself!" Ace replied.

He was led to the car. “one more thing.." The man said and walked back to Ace's car. He lit a lighter and threw it in. The car instantly engulfed in flames. The man walked back to the car and got in.

They drove off instantly..

Brian who had been hiding behind a bush stood up. “They're gone, I need to catch up with them quic...what the fuck!" Brian exclaimed staring at the burning vehicle. “How the hell am I supposed to catch up with them now!?" Brian asked himself.

“Hey you need a ride dude?" A voice suddenly said from behind. “Huh?" Brian said and turned around...

The car drove for about an hour and finally came to a stop. Ace was led out of the car with him still holding the case firmly. “We're here?" Ace asked. “yeah.." The man replied. “Great, would you kindly remove the blindfold now?" Ace asked.

“Wait till we get in.." The man replied. Ace was led into a house. They got in and the blindfold was finally removed. Ace stared around. “Where's he?" Ace asked. “He's right here!" A voice said from behind him. Ace turned around slowly and stared at the Ferocious man's eye.

Josh was sitting on a couch holding a pen knife. “Seems like you got my Cash.." He said. “yeah, where's she!?" Ace asked furiously. “Go bring her.." Josh said to one of the men. The man walked away.

“So you set this all up in five years?" Ace asked staring around in the magnificent house. “Surprised am rich?" Josh asked and smirked. “Not that surprised.. " Ace replied.

The man walked back in with Linda who was wearing a very pale face. “Oh my God, what the hell did you do to her!?" Ace asked.
