Episode 52

Ace eased down when he got closer to his house and saw cops car parked Right in front of the house. The front door was slightly opened too.

“They're here.. " Brian said. “Yeah. remember, I'll do the talking.." Ace said. “Alright!" Brian replied. Ace parked and they all alighted from the car. They walked to Ace house and pushed the door open widely.

Ace was the first to walk in. “Oh my goodness, where the hell have you been!?" The detective asked. “Sorry sir, we've been dealing with some things lately.." Ace said. “Where, we were so bothered. Where did the both of you go. And why the hell did you leave your door open!?” he asked furiously.

“another friend of mine died. Footage shows it was him who at attacked again.. " Ace said. “Oh, the man was your friend too. Our troops have taken care of the situation. But, I didn't spot you there.." He said. “Yeah, we left early. My wife and son had to leave the city for their safety.." Ace said.

“And why is she still here?" The officer asked pointing at Linda. “She just returned from her mum's place. She would leave soon too.." Ace replied. “okay...she needs to leave now" the officer said.

“Yes, we'll drop her at the airport.. " Ace said. “Good, do that and meet me at the station. We have lot if work to do" the officer said. They all walked out back. Ace shut the door behind him before finally walking to others.

“Ace, where's your car?" The detective asked. “Something was damaged in the engine on our way back. We borrowed this from a friend.." Ace replied. “Okay, take a tow truck to the car and get it fixed” He said.

“Yes Sir! " Ace replied. He watched as the cops got in the car and drove off. “What now?" Linda asked. “You need to go home now, you'll be safer there” Ace replied. “Alright then, You'll drop me?” Linda asked.

“Of course " Ace replied. “Drive me home too. Am so fucking tired!" Brian said. “hop in.." Ave said. They all got in the car and Ace drove first to Mr Harrison's mansion. He parked in front of the mansion. “remember Linda, don't stay out late and Always go everywhere with guards. That's very important! " Ace said. “Yeah, got it!" Linda said.

She got down from the vehicle and walked to the gate. Linda knocked and the gateman opened after recognizing her voice. The gare then shut back. “Alright, take me home now! " Brian said. “Where do you stay?" Ace asked.

Brian gave him his location and Ace set out for the place. After some minutes of driving, Ace reaches the Place. “You stay here?" Ace asked. “Yeah.." Brian replied.

“Alright, bye. I'll see you tomorrow.. " Ace said. “Yeah, see you tomorrow! " Brian said and alighted from the vehicle. “Oh, Dude!" Ace suddenly said. “Huh?" Brian asked. “Thank you for today, you did a great job.." Ace said.

“You're welcome!" Brian replied. Ace ignited the car and drove off..

Brian sighed and walked in. He rested till it was night fall. It was already getting dark when he suddenly felt hungry. Brian stood up and walked to his fridge. “The fridge is empty! " Brian exclaimed.

He walked around feeling very weak and hungry. A loud music suddenly came from his neighbor's room. Brian opened his door and furiously charged at the neighbor's door. He banged on it heavily. “Hey open up!" Brian yelled and hit the door with his fist.

The door finally opened slightly. “Stop the noise right now or I'll arrest you!" Brian yelled. “What would you charge me with?" The neighbor asked. “Noise pollution!, if that's a thing..." Brian said.

“Fine!" The neighbor said and slammed the door angrily. Brian walked back to his room and the loud music soon stopped. He sighed and sat on his bed. “oh, the money!" He suddenly said. He stood up and walked to his wears. He dipped his hands in one of the pockets and brought out some cash. Brian sniffed the money. “Yeah, smells nice! " he said.

He stood up and kept the money in his pants. “Let's go shopping! " Brian said and exited the room. He left his house and walked down the street to a shopping mall.

Brian walked around picking some important foodstuffs. He bought all he could carry and headed back home. Getting home, He met a black Car parked right by the road. “This looks suspicious... Who cares, it could be anyone!" Brian said and walked in.

He lives on the third floor. Brian climbed the stairs slowly till he reached the third floor. He was approaching his door when a neighbor suddenly opened her door and walked out. “Hey, Brian. What you got there? " she asked deductively.

“Nothing exciting, just some stuffs..." Brian replied. “Am kinda bored, wanna come In and have some fun?" She asked and winked. “Alright, I'll just drop these in my room and join you in a second! " Brian said.

He rushed to his doorstep. “Oh, I forgot to lock the door?" He asked himself. Brian walked in and rushed to the fridge. He started arranging the stuffs in a haste.

“Why are you rushing?" A voice suddenly asked. Brian paused and slowly stood up. He t slowly and reached for his gun under the fridge. “Oh, I have that with me.." The voice said. Brian turned around to see a man holding his gun sitting right on his bed.

Brian gulped. “Who are you?" He asked. “you don't recognise me?. It's Josh! " he replied. “You!, what the heck are you doing here?!" Brian asked eagerly.

“Just stopped by to say hi to a friend. There's nothing wrong with that right? " Josh asked. “How did you find me!?" Brian asked. “Sit pal, we have things to discuss!" Josh said.

Brian reluctantly took his seat. A knock was suddenly heard. “Hey, Brian. You're coming?" The neighbor said. “I'll be right there!" Brian replied.
