The decision

Jane stood up as she heard the gate open,she went to the curtain to check and it was her father's car that drove in.

she went back and sat on the couch. Her dad walked in “guys guess what!” He yelled as he walked in. Their maid quickly came and grabbed his suite case.

His kids as stared at him confusedly, “I and my friends have decided to go on a trip to Paris, There will be a big party,I might accidentally meet the CEO of Texas instruments, I've been thinking of partnering with him in his company ” he said.

“ you where have you been, we've searched every nook and crannies of this city for you, have reported to the local police station and they said they will try their best”. Mr Harrison asked staring at his daughter Jane.

“emm I, we went for Natasha's birthday and our car broke down in a very far place from here,we couldn't find a way to fix the car until a stranger helped us, we came back as soon as the car was fixed” Jane said stammering.

“where exactly did you go” he asked. “out of town” Jane replied.

“ whatever, just make sure you take your guards everywhere you go,ok" he asked. Jane nodded,“And where is your mum?” Mr Harrison asked as he started walking upstairs.

“She went to her friend's place ” Linda answered.

Mr Harrison walked up stairs,Jane continued with her phone.

Another horn was heard outside,Linda checked and she saw it was her mum's car . she rushed out,she came back in with her mum.

“Hey Kate ” Jane said (that's what she preferred calling her). “YOU!..where have you been?” Mrs Harrison asked her but didn't get a reply.

she started making her way up stairs “By the way I've told you several times to stop calling me kate,you can call me mrs Harrison or miss Kate" Mrs Harrison said continued walking up the staircase.

Her daughter, Linda followed her leaving only Jane downstairs. she continued with her phone till her parents and sibling came back down.

“food is ready lets go eat” Linda said as she started moving towards their dinning room.

“Jane get your ass here let's eat” Jane's step mum yelled, Mr Harrison stared at her and whispered loudly “Linda is here you shouldn't be using those words”.

“Dad am right here I can hear you” Linda said, “sorry, Jane common the foods gonna get cold" Jane's step mum yelled again.

Jane joined them and dropped her phone on the table.

They prayed and ate,they soon all departed to their various rooms.

Jane was in her room doing what she does always before she sleeps. chatting with her friends on different social media platforms.

she heard a knock on her door. Her step sister peeped in, “can I come in?” she asked, “come in” Jane said.

she went In and closed the door “ ,“what do you want its late already” Jane asked her.

“I am feeling lonely in my room can I join you please ?”Linda begged. Jane stared at her for some seconds, “Sure” Jane said.

“Thanks!! ” Linda yelled as she jumped on Jane's bed, “shhhhh,its late” Jane said. “Oh sorry” Linda said and lied gently on the bed, “so where did you go exactly?” Linda asked Jane.

“Do you wanna ask me some stupid questions or you want to sleep” Jane said angrily. “sorry” Linda said and closed her eyes to get some sleep.

“we went to a hill far from here that's where our car had fault,we were almost devoured by a Wolfe. a stranger helped us fix it,By the way if you tell dad about it I will kill you!!” Jane threatened.

“sure I won't tell anyone, you can trust me on that” Linda said. “good” Jane replied.

”good night ” Linda said,“yeah good night” Jane replied. Linda yawned and soon fell asleep, Jane continued with her phone for some time but she soon started feeling dizzy.

she dropped her phone and slept off.

Jane was woken up by a loud knock on her door she opened her eyes slowly and checked her phone,it was 7.am already. it was Tuesday.

she stood up and looked at her step sister still sleeping on her bed,she yawned and walked to the door and unlocked it,she opened and saw her step mum standing there.

“Have you seen Linda, she's not in her room” she asked Jane.

“yeah she's here with me” Jane replied. “good, please tell her to come out now and start preparing for school we are going to drop her on our way to the airport ” she said and left.

“wait dad is going with her, he never said that” Jane said to herself.

she went to Linda and waked her up,Linda stretched and yawned, “it's morning already” she asked.

“of course get up and go get ready for school!!” Jane yelled at her. Linda frowned and got up and walked out of the room.

Jane went to her bath room,she brushed and took a shower,she went downstairs and met her parents already eating.

“what happened to the family praying and eating?” she asked looking puzzled..it was a rule in their house to always pray together before eating anytime they are all presently at home.

“sorry dear, but we are already getting late,my friend is already waiting for us at the airport we have to be fast to catch up” Mr Harrison said has he ate.

“ok” Jane said and sat,she joined them to eat. Mr Harrison phone suddenly rang again, “Hey Steve, sorry for keeping you waiting, we are already on our way ” he said to the person on the phone.

“Honey I think we better end the eating here and get going,Jane I don't think we will be able to drop Linda anymore could you do it for me please? ” He asked as he stood up.

“I'll drop her” Jane answered. “thanks we'll be back before Friday” Mr Harrison said.

Mr Harrison and his wife went out the house and entered their car and their driver drove them off to the airport.

“meet outside when you're done eating ” Jane said as she stood up and went upstairs and took her car keys.

she went out and Linda soon joined her, she horned at the gate man to open up the gate, a guard approached her car and knocked on the window.

she wound down the glass and stared at him,“miss Jane, your Dad says we should not allow you to go out alone without at least one of us” he said.

“I am not going anywhere special I just wanna drop Linda in her school, I'll be back in a sec” she said and wound up the glass back.

she drove out of the compound and into the streets,she drove to Linda's school and droped her off.

“bye” Linda said and waved at her,she waved back and drove off.

she drove around the streets and got her self a burger and soda. she ate and drove around.

“I am bored,I should visit Natasha or something ” she said to herself and started driving there. she got here but Natasha wasn't at home. she drove to Claire's place but didn't meet her either.

she was bored and needed something to do, she thought of the man he met earlier at the hill.

“he said he wanted me to come back, no am not going to do that,but what if he has something else he wants to tell me,what do I have to loose anyways” she thought to herself

.

“No way!!, I can't believe am thinking of this shit, this could get me in trouble” she said to herself.

“Am not gonna think of this again, I'll just drive home gently and get some rest” she said and started driving home.

she was driving but suddenly stopped, “something in me is telling me to go to him,I hope this thing doesn't get me in too much shit ” she said .

“well imma just give it a try ”she said and started making her way to the town's exit.
