New apartment

“i know someone who can help us get an apartment” Jane said, “Who" Ace asked.

“A friend, his name is Philip, he lives near the airport,he also can help you get arms” Jane said.“really!?” Ace asked happily when he heard he can get guns from him, “let's go to his place right away” He said.

Jane looked at him and smirked,“you have to take things easily ” she said and ignited the engine,she started driving.“so how come you know a gun dealer ”Ace asked, “He is not a gun dealer,he his a ranger.”

“oh so you went on another escapade and got unlucky again and he saved you right” Ace interrupted while Jane was talking.

she looked at Ace,and faced the road back,she continued with her driving. she drove for some while till she reached a modern looking house,it was not very big but it was well furnished on the outside, “so this is his place” Ace asked gesturing at the house.

“yeah,get down and follow me” Jane said and alighted from her car, Ace followed her and they approached the house, Jane went up and knocked, a skinny guy showed up, Ace was surprised,he wasn't expecting this type of person.

Jane saw the shock on Ace's face and quickly stamped his feet, Ace adjusted his face.“Hi Phil, this is my friend Ace, he needs an apartment and some other things from you..” Jane said and winked at him.

Phil understood why she winked,he urged them to come in,they went in and sat,Ace looked around,the placed looked nice than he expected.

Ace was staring around when Phil walked to him, “you want anything dude” he asked, “ No” Ace answered. “ok and you,Jane” he asked looking at Jane.

“A glass of wine will do” Jane answered,He went to his friedge and took a bottle,He took two glasses and filled them each.

He handed one to Jane, she took it and sipped it,she droped it on a stool sitting next to the chair she was on.

“Am Phil by the way” he said to Ace walked to a chair and sat,“Am Ace nice to meet you” Ace replied.

“so you want an apartment ugh?” Phil asked,“yes I need one far from the city,but not too far though” Ace said.

“I can get you that”,Phil said, “yes!!,thank you so much,whatever it cost you,she will pay” Ace said pointing at Jane Who was still sipping her drink. she stoped drinking and stared at him surprisingly.

“really, wellit's gonna cost you 2 million dollars” Phil said. “Jane almost choked herself. “what!!” she exclaimed. Ace was shocked too,he was just staring at Phil with his eyes wide opened.

“just kidding,I can give you for free, as far it's just for some time,which I hope it is”Phil said. “of course it's just for sometime” Ace replied.

“good,I think we have a deal” Phil said and stood up, “oh and please I need weapons ” Ace said. Phil sat back down,“weapons?,for what?” Phil asked.

“it's for some stuffs” Ace said, “ for stuffs?, who in the world wants an apartment and a gun too far from the city, or are you a criminal? ” Phil asked furoiusly.

“No am not,she can testify,Jane?” Ace said looking at Jane Who was still sipping her drink,she appears not to be paying any attention to what the two men were saying, “how Long will it take you to drink the fucking whine you little piece of shit" Ace yelled at her.

“ohh..sorry,He Is not a criminal ” Jane said to Phil and continued sipping her drink.“give me a minute ” Phil said and went to the other room in the house,A door was heard opening and Phil's noice disappeared.

Phil soon came back with a double rifle,it was an old gun, “what the hell am I supposed to do with this!!” Ace exclaimed as he saw the gun,Jane chuckled.

“is this what he has that you call weapons,this crap?” Ace asked angrily pointing at the gun.“calm down,if you can't tell me why you need weapon then,this is all I have to offer!! ” Phil said.

“alright,you see my wife and son died a while ago,they were murdered by my boss named Greg, I am here to get him back for what he did to me” Ace said as his eyes began to get teary again.

“oh am sorry for your loss,I lost my wife two month ago too,I know how you are feeling” Phil said. “i have a daughter, she is twelve, she stays with my mum in Dallas ” he added.

Ace sat there mute with a sober face. “ok, you know whatI'll give you my best weapons ” Phil said. “follow me” he said and Ace quickly got up and started following Phil.

They got to an empty room,Ace was confused, “emm,I see no weapon here” he said, Jane looked at him and held her finger to her lip telling him to “shhhh”.

Phil shifted a big table lying in the centre of the room was an underground.“This was the last thing on earth I was expected to see here” Ace said.

Phil opened and there was a stair case,he went in and told them to follow, they followed him in. the underground tunnel was long and had bulbs to lightening it.

They walked around,the underground tunnel were divided into many rooms,some were empty and some had stuffs in it.

they reached a room and it had a door,it was the only one with a door,Phil opened it and it was dark,he traced his hands to a switch on the wall and turned in the light.

“oh yeah, now we are talking baby!!” Ace exclaimed to the numerous arms hanged to the walls of the room,there were too many to choose from.

“do your self a favor and pick what you want ” Phil said to Ace.

Ace saw a bag lying on the floor,he quickly picked it up and started filling it with ammunitions.

He filled till he couldn't fill it anymore, “you done” Jane asked him and he nodded, “good let's go” Phil said and turned to go,they followed him and they all went back to the house.

Phil helped Ace carry the arms to the back of his truck,he got in,and Ace entered the vehicle too.

“you guys go on,I'll be right behind you” Jane said.

Phil started his car and started driving,Jane was also following them with her car, they drove for about twenty minutes,they drove to a very bushy area, they soon stoped when they reached a house.

“this is my dad's house, he inherited it from his dad and he gave it to me before dying” Phil said as he alighted from the vehicle, they all went in,the house looked good.

Phil helped Ace carry the bag of ammunitions in,Jane followed them,everything you need is here,“This house also has an underground where you can keep things or hide its in the room over there” Phil said pointing to the direction he was talking about.

“thanks” Ace said.

“ok that will be all for now, and you can keep the truck for the time being, and if you need anything else don't hesitate to come over to my place ” Phil said and walked out.

Jane stared at Ace for some while,“so I guess i I'll see you later,bye” she said and walked out.

Ace came out and watched them drive away in Jane's car,he went back in and locked the door behind him,he went In and lied on a bed.

He was smiling,he was happy he could finally get his Revenge,he has lot of stuffs to do the next day.
