He would gladly trade all his riches, all his gold, his diamonds, and his life for the woman in his arms.

They had not talked about her going back to work. If she decided to, he will not stop her. So long as she was happy. And surrounded by numerous bodyguards.

Leaving her sleeping, sated and satisfied, he went to their ensuite bath and prepared the marbled amber jacuzzi. It would take a few minutes to fill up. In the meantime, he would get some food just in case Rie woke up hungry.

His Dragon Queen was still sleeping soundly when he returned. Loathe to disturb her but he must, he could hear the change in her breathing pattern.

The transition had begun.

"Sweetheart, let's get you soaking in a cool bath." He whispered at her temple and hefted her securely in his arms.

"Like Anna had her transition?" Eagerness laced her voice.

Lucas smiled down at her upturned face. He should have known. Closing the distance, he pressed his lips to hers.

"Anna Marie and I consummated our bond. It's now official." He admitted.

"And you need time for the transition?"

"Yes."

"Ok. I will tell my mate. Congratulations, my friend."

"Thank you. Don't worry I have tightened the security at my estate. I have dragons flying above as we speak."

"It's not what I'm worried about."

"Then what is it?"

"Anna Michelle is missing."
