Sick In the Head
Chapter 25
It was already afternoon and she was still behind the walls of her room.
She'd heard the Nanny tell him some things last night but she didn't care.
After all, he had gone out only to come back late in the night.
He was the very same person that said, he would not stay for the night.
She didn't care, didn't even want him to stay.
Mikhail Mazza stood in front of her door.
He knocked on the door, but it was not open.
He had never thought, he possessed such patience but Ashley was bringing it out of him.
"Open the fucking door, Ashley." He knocked hard and then he heard a click and sighed.
She opened the door and frowned, seeing him.
"What is it?" She asked, and he huffed.
"What the fuck are you planning to do? A suicide mission? Rose told me you haven't eaten since morning even last night. If you're planning on going on a hungry strike woman, you'll have to take it to your mother's house." He gritted his teeth and she turned to the wall clock to see that the time was already past One in the afternoon.
"I will eat later." She didn't know that time had gone like that.
Besides, she didn't want to eat last night so she'd not see him..she wasn't even planning on going on a hunger strike.
"No, Ashley...you will eat now." He said and her frown deepened.
"Whether you like it or not, and I'm not buying that face." He hissed and she shrugged.
"Come out." He ordered but remained still.
"I thought you wanted me to rot in here, so I was just doing what you told me to do. So leave me alone so I would rot in hell like you've ordered me to." She huffed, as he stepped into the room space and grabbed her hand.
"Don't tempt me, Ashley Mazza, you've done that enough in a couple of Nineteen hours." He said and she remained quiet.
Ever since she had gotten back from the party the other night, she had taken her bath and locked herself in the room.
She was so hungry but she would not budge.
She knew what she did was right and wrong.
For the right, she had stopped him from becoming the bigger monster than he already was.
While for the Wrong, she had stopped a mission and she knew how much it would cost him.
But then, Killing him again was not a thing.
She knew Mikhail Mazza, by now the man was already dead if he wanted him dead.
Michael Jones, the mayor of the Down Part border.
Did they mean to piss him off? She just couldn't tell.
"You think too much you know." She heard his voice and it seemed pretty close.
Snapping out of her thoughts, her eyes widened seeing that she was on the couch in front of the TV and different dishes were on the table.
"Eat." Came the voice.
"Rose shouldn't have bothered," Ashley mumbled, seeing the delicious meals on the table.
Rose was the Nanny he had picked for her.
"Rose was concerned."
"She should be concerned for herself." She gritted her teeth and he frowned.
"Stop talking before you choke."
"Could have fooled me, acting as if you care." She scoffed but he remained calm.
"That shit you did last night Ash.." He began and she frowned.
"Oh please, we're not going to begin that topic again, are we?"
"What the fuck is wrong with you?"
"And what the fuck is wrong with you?" She asked back.
He chuckled.
He didn't like this power pull that seem like she was winning.
"Listen, Ashley, I kill people. Make them cry their eyes out while I watch and laugh. Feed them some parts of their body till they suffocate with their blood, Do not tempt me." He wanted to see the defeat in her eyes but he didn't see a thing.
"Are you done? I know what you do Mikhail, we lived at the southern border before coming to the City you know and we saw how the local Mafias dealt with people, kill people brutally, and govern the government and no one would dare say a word. I know all of it, the worst you could do..is torture me." She shrugged.
Mikhail was left speechless.
He knew where to click to bring out her scared spot but he would leave it be for the main time.
He walked out of the living room.

Ashley knew she had won for the time being.
She was getting tired of quarreling.
Eating her food quickly, she packed up the dishes and went to the kitchen.
"Good morning Nanny." She greeted the woman who smiled at her.
"Good morning Mia, how have you been? How was your night?" The woman asked, and she nodded.
"What are you making?"
"Scratch egg and pancakes and grilled liver." Nanny rose answered with a smile.
"Awen, I want to help." Ashley giggled, rolling up her sleeves and dropping the plate in the sink.
Adding a little liquid soap, she turned on the tap and began to wash the plates.
She finished washing the plates and dropped them on the plate cater.
Turning to see the woman staring at her and smiling, she smiled back and chuckled.
"Why are you staring at me like that Nanny?" She asked.
"When I heard that he had gotten a wife I was so happy and scared at the same time. I was scared he'd get a wife that is in the same line of business and a wife that'd be so submissive. I was so happy when I met you." She said and Ashley's smile widened.
"Mikhail is just an ass, he's a good person but..... he'll learn to come around," Ashley said, and the woman gasped.
"Please don't call him that, he loves the name Satan." The woman said, turning to see if they were alone.
"Don't worry Nanny, he doesn't like it when I call him that. He prefers his real name Mikhail from me." She said and the woman stood with her jaw dropped.
Was that even possible?
