Bella Mia
Chapter 35Chapter 36
Her heels were the only thing heard as she walked out of the restaurant.
They girl didn't look like she was remorse and it made everything so bad.
Ashley sighed.
She had to stop herself, she was already becoming a villain now.
She had just fired two people already, because of that jerk named Mikhail.
No, it was not because of him..it was because they didn't know how to concentrate on heir job, she told herself..using anything that could save her from thinking of herself as the bad guy.
"You're becoming a more bold wife.' Mikhail said, walking pass her.
She turned to the restaurant and they girl in question was already pulling off her apron and ready to sign out.
That girl really needed a slap, a slap to make her think well rather than smile at someone else's husband!
'As if you two are even married.' Her inner mind scolded but she shook it away.
They were married, she was married to Mikhail. She had the papers to prove that!
Sighing, she kicked her feet out of the restaurant and down to the car.
Mikhail ignited the engine of the car and started.
She was wondering why he hadn't stopped her for the second time.
Why didn't he tell the girls to stay back and keep their job? He was just looking and smiling like an idiot?
He was making fun of her, that was the case.
She looked up at him and sent him a deadly glare that could make him shiver but he didn't.
He stared back and gave her a cold look.
"What?!" She practically yelled at him but remained stilled after.
The drive began slowly, as rain drizzled and then it became heavy.
Rain poured down on the road, causing some cars to stop by the side and Mikhail did just that.
He parked the car and sighed.
Now Ashley was sure that her ancestors didn't want her to enjoy Italy the way she wanted to.
*****
They were still in the car, the rain was heavy as it poured down the car.
Ashley kept cussing under her breath.
Hell! This was her first day in Italy and it was going like this?
Rubbing her fore head she turned to see that Mikhail had his eyes closed, his hair falling out of place and making him look like a mess.
A heavenly mess, the king of the mess caused by God and his Angels.
There was something in his air, sticking out as his hand gripped the steering... showing her that he was half asleep and half awake and she needed to be cautious.
Leaning closer, she pressed her body to the point the speedometer shifted from it's point holding her in place.
Her hand went up to pull what was there but then just as she was about to take it out of his hair...his eyes snapped open and her's widened as well.
They both stayed that way, saying nothing to each other as their gaze said a lot of things.
This was not what she wanted, who knew that a little paper in his hair would make them stay like this? in a position in which her body was pushing further to his as the speedometer had began to give way.
She was sure she was going to need a massage on that particular hand later, seeing that it was soon to be sprained.
Why was he staring at her like that? And why the hell could she not move? Was his gaze that infectious?
His Sea-greeened eyes held hers, bored into hers that leaning back was not something she would do anytime...not that she was flowing with her sense.
Everything had left her, her whole body was moving on its own, acting as if she didn't have any will or strength.
"What are you doing?" His voice was not hard, not cold in fact it was the opposite of what she expected.
It was hard, husky and so deep that it made her want more of him.
She wanted him to talk again.
Damn the feelings she had for this man, it was begging to make her hate herself.
"You're pushing the speedometer Ash, you wouldn't want to cause an accident and let both of us die.. right?" He asked.
And that was when she snapped out of her thoughts and gave him a weird smile.
"The was something in your hair and I wanted to get it out." She mumbled, and pressed forward taking it out and showing it to him.
He nodded and sighed.
"I need a cold bath right now." He said.
"Why would you need a cold bath?" She asked, huffing.
The weather was cold, so cold that needing a cold bath would practically freeze you in the bath.
"Because I need to relieve myself and trust me my wife won't be able to do that for me." He said, pointing at his groin and her eyes widened.
Damn! Why did he say it? Why did he say it? He would have ignored her like before and kept shut!
She held herself up but no her eyes were betraying her again, and it went to look at his groin again.
"Do you want to see it? It seems like you really want to see my groin Ash.. Should I take it out?" He asked shamelessly, winking at her as he mumbled those words.
"You're a pig, Mikhail." She said and he nodded.
"I'm more than that, I'm your husband so you don't have to be shy Ashley..you can see it whenever you want." He said, and Ashley could even feel her heart thumping in side her chest.
Damn! what was this feeling?
The rain had begun to subside and thank God, the cars were beginning to leave the roadside.
"Uhm..you see, uhm.. let's go now..the road is already clear." She said and he nodded, igniting the engine of the car.
"Where else?" He asked, his voice strained to the point Ashley wondered if he was really alright.
"A club?" She winked and he chuckled.
"You wanna go to a club when I'm looking like this?" He pointed to his groin again and her eyes widened.
"To the groin...sorry, to the club it is." She mumbled and gave a weird smile.
Damn! She had to be careful around this guy!
TBC
"Well, what can a woman do? Can't allow a maid to take over my mansion can I?" Ashley mumbled.
"That's good, you have to show them where they belong."
"It's your fault Mikhail, going around and fucking everything in skirt. I wonder how many women you've fucked in this life Mikhail, I get they're more than a million." She huffed.
"Are you jealous wife?"
"I'd rather eat broccoli than be jealous of a prick like you." She said, and he nodded going down the stairs.
One thing he hated was women acting up.
He didn't even recognize the maid, but he knew that he fucked her... maybe she was the one he fucked in the pool, or maybe in the backyard, he couldn't remember and he didn't want to.
He still couldn't believe that Ashley after all the years still loved him, or maybe loved him.
"Boss?" Rob called out and he sighed.
He came here for business.
"When should I schedule the business with Mr. Montenegro?" He asked.
"The day after tomorrow." He mumbled.
Like he had promised Ashley, he was going to take her out to see the beauty of Italy.
"Mikhail." He heard her voice call.
Turning around to meet her standing behind him, she smiled at him.
It was a huge smile that nearly made him smile back.
'All for a day out!'
"Has anyone ever told you that you can be the most seductive human if you put your mind towards it?" He asked.
She rolled her eyes, turning around and smiling again.
"I have to look my best in my dream country." She mumbled, walking past him to the car.
As far as he was concerned Italy to some people was meant only for the Mafia, the gangs, and Glades.
"Why is Italy your dream country? You did say it was because of me, right?" He asked as they got into the car.
"Yes, it was." She answered nonchalantly.
"Why?"
"Because every time you made me cry I was so determined to join the Mafia and make you pay. I did imagine skinning you alive and burning your flesh... dipping the catapelta into your knee and spurting out blood from your lungs..and..."
She stopped talking to him, turning to face him.
He wasn't laughing, he was serious, and his face had that look that could kill.
"I didn't mean all of that." She didn't know when it slipped out of her mouth.
"No you did, and I like it. But you'll never join the Mafia." He said.
"Not that I want to join anymore. I've long forgotten about them." She muttered and he scoffed.
"That was a long time ago Mikhail, I have long forgotten about it..so leave it be." She said, looking out of the car again.
"What is this place?" She asked, her eyes wide open in excitement.
"This is uhm, this is one of our restaurants." He said and her eyes widened.
"Like you own it? You're the owner? How wealthy are you Mikhail?" She asked as he stopped the car.
"Richer than any man alive." He mumbled, and she chuckled at his exaggeration.
"Do you wanna go in?"
"Why wouldn't I?" She jerked out of her seat at a fast pace and hopped out of the car.
Just as her leg was about to touch the ground, she lost her footing and was about to fall when he grabbed her firmly but softly on her waist.
"You're too clumsy Mrs. Mazza." It came as a whisper even though he plan to talk.
"And you're too strong Mr. Mazza." She winked, and he huffed letting her go when he was sure she was well balanced on the floor.
The securities hurried to us as they spotted him.
"Good day Sir, Good day Ma'am." They greeted me, and I smiled at them.
We walked into the restaurant and damn! it was so beautiful, well furnished and so spacious. Mikhail was indeed a billionaire.
Maybe he was not even exaggerating about being the richest...but what about Bill Gates and the other rich men.
"Good afternoon Mr. Mazza, and Ms....."
"Mrs. Mazza." Mikhail completed and the waitress's eyes widened.
"Mrs. Mazza." She completed and coughed.
"I'm so sorry Ma'am. What can I get for you both?" She asked.
"Get us the squash spaghetti, the one on the top menu, and a bottle of wine," Mikhail said and I smiled.
"How did you know I love spaghetti," Ashley muttered.
"I don't know about you, but I love spaghetti and what I love is what we're going to be eating." He said and shrugged.
"You're so unpredictable Mikhail, how can you say that to your wife? At least be kind to me or you'll regret it, husband." She gritted her teeth and he nodded.
"Jerk." She cussed as the waitress came near.
Dropping the food they ordered, the waitress smiled at him.
"Sir, anything else?" She asked.
"No nothing, thank you," Ashley said, a little annoyed.
Why were whether only concentrated on Mikhail, she was there and she was sure she had introduced herself as his wife.
What the hell was wrong with all these people?!
"Okay, thank you, Sir and Ma'am." She said, a scowl on her face as she mumbled the last part.
"Seems this one wants to get fired as well." Ashley gritted her teeth.
Their marriage was just a pretense but she wouldn't let a small little witch on her way, after all, she was going to give birth to the heir of this place...she might as well enjoy her authority while it lasts.
"Jealousy doesn't look good on you, Ashley." He said and she rolled her eyes.
"She's so arrogant and...." She trailed, glaring at Mikhail that was staring at the woman.
Was he trying to make her more annoyed?
"And hot!" He completed and that was it.
That lady was going to get fired once she was done there.
"Let's eat," Ashley said and smiled.. digging her fork into the meatball.
They are silently not saying a word as Ashley didn't say anything and like Mikhail, he said nothing...just watching her as she ate.
Soon enough they were already at the counter.
the waitress didn't seem like someone that was willing to give up and this pissed off Ashley.
"Hey, you..." She called out.
"Me?"
"Yes, you... pack your things out of here, you're fired." She said, her eyes narrowing at the waitress.
"What?!"
