Chapter 4
Ashley could have sworn that she never thought she could do what she did.
She had slapped him and he had that expression that said; I'll kill you today.
She was not afriad of herself but that of her mother also.
He was a bastard.
A cursed devil that would do everything in his power to make sure her face winced with pain and hurting her mother would do him good.
She watched him clenched his fist and sighed.
He took a step front and she took one back.
She saw the men staring at her as if she'd grown another head.
His name was Mikhail Mazza, he didn't hit women doesn't mean he didn't order for their death.
With everything he had done to her, she could label him a murderer and much more, after all, he was the Country's Kingpin.
She didn't know much about the Mafias but hell she had seen things with her eyes.
She knew how the local Mafia operated.
The deaths, the fear, the dread, the ins and out.
He grabbed her hand and dragged her to himself before turning to the stairs and he continued with the dragging.
She was not bothered about his hand but the fact that he could strangle her to death and her poor mother would be the one to suffer it or he would send the thugs to go get some broken bones done to her mother's already broken self.
He wasn't after all, a human. So he was well capable of doing those.
They got to his office and he pushed her in and got in as well.
She sighed and chuckled.
"So what now?" She had tried to act strong.
Her eyes bored his and he chuckled.
"You see, you think there's a chance out of this but there's not. You either give in to me or you die, there's no need to act strong and all Ash." He said, his hand going to her neck but he didn't press.
He held her there, showing her that she had no control.
He was the one In control and he could do whatever he dim fit with her.
"Don't touch my mother." She mumbled.
She had planned it well but it failed.
It was supposed to be a no emotion thing and a blank face but no..She had that crying helpless face she hated the most.
She had seen women in the town, scared like shit. Unable to leave and walk around the town due to the fact that they were scared.
Scared that someone would molest and hit them when ever they wanted.
She hated the fact that she had to listen and watch those shits.
She was not that strong but she had learned a lot of Taekwondo and she was not going to back down if a man initiated a fight.
"You seem like someone who is ready to blow my heads out, which got me wondering why?" He smiled and she frowned.
Was he kidding her?
He was the asshole, the wizzard, the monster and the curse on her part and hell she'd never want anything to do with him.
She was regretting the fact that she had gone to him for help! How could she?
"Your mother.."He began and she turned to him, curiosity filled her up and she frowned.
"What about her?" She asked, glaring at him and he smirked
When it came to her mother she was willing to do it all but not to succumb to his wishes.
"Your mother Ashley was transferred to the Ashwood Grey's Hospital this evening, her surgery will be done once your sign the contract." He said, and her eyes widened.
He tighten his hand on her neck and released again.
"What?" She blinked, with dropped jaw.
Ashwood Grey was the best in the country.
It was the best where you go sick and come out healthy.
Many said they performed miracles there and there was a monk who healed people.
She didn't care about that.
What she cared was the fact that her mother had been transferred there and would be given treatment once she sighed the goddamn contract.
How the hell did she gets transferred without her knowing.
Her phone buzzed and she made to bring out the pocketed phone but he stopped her.

"Let me pick the..
"Shut up!" He didn't yell, wasn't angered when he said it.
It was just two simple words and he did say it and she looked up at him as if he could kill.
"Shut up." He said it, as if to confirm to her he did say it.
She kept silent, watching him with her hawk eyes.
If he made any slightest way with her, she would hit him and hell she would not care about death.
"You see, just a flick of my finger Cara Mia and your mother would not even be back to the hospital, she would be home on the bed with you tending to her already broken self." She made to struggle but he held her in place.
The grip was not strong, not strangling her but she was glaring at him.
"It's your call Cara Mia, you know like before I can make you cry your eyes out while watching you trying to act strong and fight me.. knowing fully well that you would not win. Don't resist the inevitable." He said and she hipcupped.
She was crying.
He let of go of her neck and she sniffed.
"I hate you. I really detest you so much Mikhail." She said, and he nodded.
"Trust me baby, it's mutual." He said.
She was the second person calling him his name. He let her.
There was no stopping her, she seemed like a mad woman.
"Think about this Cara Mia, before you send all your love ones to the grave early.. I'll be waiting for you." He whispered the last part as he grabbed her hand and took her out of the office.
"Go cry at home!"
