Ex boyfriend
Chapter 71
The Party was going on as the three ladies walked into the Spacious hall.
Ashley had her hair combed as she watched the girls dance as they grabbed the poles simultaneously.
"This should do," Sandra said, as she put the comb into the bag and sighed.
"Where the hell can we find Mikhail? Why the hell did you take me with you?" Susan cussed as she turned to the fuming Ashley.
"No one dragged you into the car Susan and no one dragged you out of the car and walked you into the club..so you might as well shut up." Ashley glared hard.
"There's Mason," Sandra said, pointing in the direction where Mason stood with a lady drinking.
"What the hell is he doing with a blonde? He said he didn't like me neither did he like blondes." Sandra cussed as she moved to where she had spotted the man drinking his cocktails.
Ashley followed suit and the other woman that was groaning, dragged her feet and she followed them to God knows where.
"Mr. Scott?" Sandra called as she got near.
Mason's eyes widened as he saw the woman that was right in front of his eyes.
"Surprised?"
"What are you doing here? And don't tell me you brought your sister here as well 'cause Mikhail..." He trailed off as his eyes dilated again seeing the woman that was standing five feet away from Sandra.
"So sorry to burst your bubble but I brought my sister along, so you might as well tell Mikhail to come out," Sandra said and Mason shook his head before getting down and grabbing her hand.
Taking her along with him, he stopped at a corner and sighed.
"What are you all doing here? I saw Susan out there." He said, and Sandra shrugged.
"Susan just decided to come with us, she was a high school friend and..."
"She's Fabio's ex and she did have a history with us in the Mafia world and..." He trailed off and sighed.
"I'm not even supposed to be telling you all these sweethearts, just go pick up your sister and leave. Thank you." He smiled and she frowned.
"Why? Don't tell me Mikhail is trying to cheat on her again. I'll kill him if that's what he's trying to do."
"Don't worry he has eyes only for your dearest sister." He said and she smiled.
"And who was that lady you were talking to earlier?"
"Jealous?"
"Never."
"Good for you. My Mother asked me to let you know that we're having lunch next tomorrow."
"Ahhh! I forgot to let her know that we'll have to leave for Spain next tomorrow for that business proposal." She said.
"Oh.." He mumbled, rubbing his forehead, and sighed.
"First of all...get those people away from here and please do not cause a nuisance." He said and she frowned.
"Get out of my way as well." She muttered, pushing him out of the way and walking to Ashley that was looking around.
"Mikhail is here."
"No, he's not," Sandra replied.
"And why do you think he's not here? Max told me he'd be here."
"Ma'am?" She turned to see the other guy named Ryan.
"Hey Ryan, where's Mikhail?" She asked to see him scratch his head.
What was wrong with all their heads?
"He's having a meeting with Miss William Yuan," Ryan answered.
"Oh.Okay. Where can I find him?" She asked and he pointed at the window of a room on the top floor.
"All the way there?" She asked, shaking her head.
"Hmm, I can take you there if you want me to," Ryan answered and Ashley nodded.
"Are you coming?" Ashley mumbled, staring at the other woman that was thinking if going was a mistake.
"I'm coming with you," Susan said and Ashley frowned as she hastened he footsteps so the latter would not catch up to her.
"Ha! Never knew stairs were these hard till today." She said and shrugged as Sandra gave her a look.
It wasn't that long but then she was already feeling tired and weak.
What the hell is wrong with her?!
"I don't know why you keep postponing that shit but we'll have to go see Mom tomorrow and you'll have to bring your husband...." Sandra trailed off as Ashley placed her finger on her lips, telling her to keep quiet.
She nodded as Ashley walked to the door and placed her ear on it.
The people in there seemed too loud as they spoke and she could hear Mikhail's voice.
"Ha! Since we're done with the signing process...how about going for a date?" Ashley heard a woman's voice say and her eyes widened and she clenched her fist.
"A date?" She heard Mikhail's voice and the frown deepened.
"Yes." The woman said again.
"I'm so sorry but my little wife seems to hey jealous when I go around with women. She wants me only to herself." Mikhail said.
Ashley felt like entering the ground.
That was her Mikhail, she turned around and gave the other two a wide smile.
"Why are you smiling like that?" Sandra whispered and she shrugged.
"I was just being a happy wife." She mumbled and rubbed her nose as she looked up.
Just as she was about to leave the door and stand by herself...the door creaked open and she hurriedly turned around, making her back face whoever it was that had opened the door.
"What is going on here?" It was the female voice and she rolled her eyes.
"We're here to see her husband but it turns out that he's in a meeting..so we decided to wait." It was Susan that talked making Ashley clench her hand again and sighed.
The woman was a talker that didn't know when to zip that mouth or his shut!
"Mrs. Mazza?" The lady turned to her and she turned around with a smile.
"I'm so sorry for bothering you, I didn't know he was having a meeting. Are you two done?" She tried to act professionally.
She wouldn't want to be the reason he had a shortage in business.
"No, you're welcome. I was just leaving right now." The lady said with a smile.
"But if it..."
"Don't you worry...my husband is waiting for me as well and we have to go." She said to have Ashley's eyes widen.
She had a husband and she was asking Mikhail for a date.
Two-timing bitch!
"I asked your husband for a date so we'd get to know each other better before the other sign-in process but he refused to say he had a wife.... you're one lucky woman." She said and Ashley feigned a smile.
"Bye now." The woman said as she walked out of the door and down the stairs as the others watched her leave.
"I don't even understand what's going on here and why the fuck I'm I here as well?' Susan cussed as she jabbed Sandra's arm.
"You don't understand why you're here but then you had to butt your mouth into my business. I recall when I asked you two to shut up if you're going to follow me." Ashley glared.
"Well... I'm so sorry but there's no way you'd order. Cause you're not my Boss and you're not my mother. So shut up and go see your husband...." Susan rolled her eyes.
Angrily Ashley walked into the room.
Mikhail was seated on one of the chairs, drinking wine.
"Hi, Babe." She called as she walked to the seat close to him and took a seat.
"Baby." He called and she smiled.
"You don't look surprised."
"I knew you were there.." He said, pointing at the door.
"I knew you were behind the doorway before she left." He said, and a smile crept to his lips.
"So all those were for words? So I'd smile?" She frowned and he shook his head.
"Don't you worry wifey. I have my eyes only on you!"

Chapter 1
Octavia
The sunset was amazing... As the blue sky was decorated with different beautiful cloud colors of red, a touch of white, and Blue.
The atmosphere seemed calm, and the forecast assured me that there would be no rain, the Beach was not that perfect though.
I sat on my beach-carved bed, the crowd was making me so irritated and pissed.
I looked around the beach and hissed.
This wasn't what I had planned.
I didn't leave my Town... To a private beach only to get it filled up.
I watched the women in Bikinis, walk past her as they talked to each other in whispers as if gossiping about something.
The children play and make Castles with the sand.
And the basketballers throwing and catching the ball in the warm cozy weather of Garfield Beach.
She shook her head and turned to her Female guard that was just nearby.
She curled up on the picnic blanket, folding her legs together as the sea wind blew past her, covering her face with some strands of her hair. She tucked them back and sighed.
"Shirley... Why the heck are we even here?" She asked, tiredly.
She had planned to come there because Garfield Beach was recommended for its quietness.
A clubhouse with deafening music was better than this.
"Tch! I told you, Octavia. Things don't just go the way we want them to go." Shirley chuckled.
Octavia stood up from the bed.
She looked down at the other woman that was sprawled out on the other bed... She was fast asleep with a magazine by her side.
"Throw this away, Shirley," Octavia said angrily, as she gave her the picnic box.
Huh? Throw it away! The female bodyguard blinked, trying to get into what she just said.
She peered her eyes into the picnic box and behold it was delicious delicacies - lasagna, butternut, a bottle of Morgan Rum, packed Adobo, and a Cactus.
"Ma'am?" Shirley called.
"I should throw them away?" She asked, to be sure of what she heard.
"Yes, Shirley... This is not what I planned.
I had to leave an appointment and a board meeting just to make sure I relax my body today... And take some new pictures."
This was supposed to be a romantic setting picture, on the beach with no one.
She hissed, as she grabbed her phone..and tabbed the camera icon.
"It's better to take a souvenir..just to remind me that coming to Garfield Beach was a waste of my precious busy time."
Taking another picture.. she posted it to her Seven Million followers on IG with a @hastag - #Myself # Peaceful Beach.
Before pressing the post icon she deleted her last @hastag...and filled it with # Chaotic.
She rubbed her forehead and sighed.
Being a model was not funny at all.
You had to do everything perfectly.
Her phone rang and she picked it up quickly.
"Yes, Mum, I didn't go to any meeting today."
"I have a shoot to attend to in an hour.. so please help fill me in." She said, with a pleading tone.
"Okay, Thank you. Bye." She cut the call and rolled her eyes.
* * * *
Bennett Stone's eyes were intently fixed on the stairs as the maids cleaned, again and again, making sure each path was scrubbed and cleaned before another was cleaned again.
He was on the couch.. an HD Laptop on his lap and a different set of Mobiles by his left.
His eyes went to the Golden Door that was getting darker maybe because the sun was not out yet in that part of Houston Estate, in New York Castle Joy.
He had no expression on his face..as he kept tabbing the same button on the laptop, making a squeaking sound.
The morning wind blew slowly... as it brought the dry oak leaves near the doormat.
He sighed, as he dropped the laptop by the side of the couch.
He stood up and walked out of the Mansion... His eyes went to the Oaktree that had a bushy look like branches.
"Cut down some Branches... it's getting too much." He ordered the guards that were nearby.
"Okay, Boss." They nodded, as they took their heels to get the work done.
"Bennett Stone... The Most Handsome Bachelor alive. His Dark Aura can make you crawl away for life and yet come back the next second". He read the Headline for the second time.
His eyes darkened for a second.
These journalists weren't scared. Right?
He had ordered that all websites and papers about him should be brought down and yet some pests still wrote things about him.
His phone rang and he glanced at the screen.
The words were boldly written in Italics writing and had a love emoji next to them. "Mother".
He picked up the call and placed the phone on his ear.
"Hello, Mother." He called, awaiting the woman's response.
"Hi Baby... are you back?" The woman squealed.
" Yes." He answered, waiting Patiently for another question.
"How was New Orleans, Hunny? I heard you met many women there."
"Where are they beautiful?" She asked again.
Tch! A chuckle left his mouth, as he smiled for the first time since his plane landed on the Soil of New York City.
"Did you hear or do you want to hear it?" He asked, with a smirk.
"Tch! Sure a boring son I have. So tell me, how was The country? I heard it's a country full of freaks."
"Don't go doing business with freaks Son... Mother still loves you." She replied.
"Bye Mom, I have so many things to attend to." He mumbled as he hung up before she could say another word.
He tucked back the phone into his pocket... and walked back into the Mansion.
His phone rang again.. and he sighed.
It had just been Three Hours since he arrived in New York.
Though he had just left for a Business meeting Two weeks ago.
He knew that they would be excess files to attend to for the next few hours.
He stared at the screen..before picking up the call.
"Hello." He said as he picked up the call.
"Good morning Sir... welcome back, you have a meeting in an hour with the Russian Investors." The voice of his secretary could be heard from the other side of the phone.
"Good. I'm on my way." He muttered.
