The circular walls were lined with shelves, cluttered with dirty quills, candle stubs, tattered playing cards, countless shimmering crystal balls, and a mountain of teacups.

Entering such a classroom for the first time, the young wizards began to discuss amongst themselves, some already regretting their choice of this subject.

After all, the classroom alone suggested that the teacher wasn't very reliable.

"Welcome!"

"It's wonderful to finally see you in the material world!"

A soft, indistinct voice suddenly echoed from the shadows.

The first impression of the Divination professor was that of a glittering, oversized insect, as she was quite thin and wore large spectacles. She also draped herself in a light, transparent shawl adorned with shimmering metal spangles, and her long, slender neck was laden with countless beads and chains, while her arms and hands were covered in bracelets and rings.

"Sit down, my children, sit down!"

Urged by her voice, the young wizards found tables and sat down.

Ethan, Cassandra, and Hermione sat together.

As was customary, teachers of every subject liked to elevate the importance of their course, showcasing their awesomeness and putting down the young wizards.

Professor Trelawney was no exception.

She immediately predicted in front of all the young wizards that classes would be suspended in February due to a severe flu outbreak, without specifying which year's February.

She also frightened Gryffindor's Lavender by saying that her greatest fear would occur on Friday, October sixteenth.

This left the young wizards below dumbfounded.

Soon, the official lesson began. She instructed everyone to take a teacup from the shelves, pair up, and then attempt readings and interpretations according to her directions.

In pairs, Hermione immediately pulled Lavender over.

The little girl was still trembling, due to Trelawney's earlier prediction about her.

Ethan and Cassandra filled their teacups and returned to their small table, gulping down the scalding tea in a few mouthfuls.

She immediately cried out in alarm.

"Good heavens, this is an ominous sign!"

As she spoke, Trelawney retreated backward in terror.

"Slaughter... blood... hell... souls!"

Now, most of the young wizards looked at Ethan, their faces filled with a mixture of belief and doubt.

Ethan looked down at the teacup, unable to make out anything at all.

"What specifically is it?"

Ethan frowned. This summer, he had caused a lot of slaughter and played with many souls, but what was to come?

Trelawney said, turning and walking towards the other young wizards, without any intention of explaining.

"She's a fraud, isn't she!"

"Just shaking the tea leaves a few times and she can see things? And Lavender, don't be afraid, her predictions are definitely false."

Hermione, seeing Ethan's confusion and Lavender's fear, began to reassure them.

What followed was Trelawney's performance time, with everyone receiving ominous predictions and no one receiving good fortune.

After class, walking on the spiral staircase, the young wizards began to complain about Trelawney.

In the afternoon, after lunch, was Care of Magical Creatures class.
