Chapter 16 Waiting for Godot
"Tell me, what do you want to do?" Dracula stared into Nico Flamel's eyes. "I don't think it's necessary to use the real Philosopher's Stone to seduce a little Voldemort."
Dracula was indeed not interested in the Philosopher's Stone, and didn't even bother to pick it up when it was thrown in front of him.
But if the only magic stone in the world is threatened, he will use all his strength to protect it. Because this is the basis for Nico's survival!

Nico sighed softly.
"As long as the Philosopher's Stone still exists in this world, it will always be coveted. This time it's Voldemort, and Albus comes to fight against it. Will there be a more powerful villain next time? Will there be another one by then? Where is someone like Albus guarding the Philosopher's Stone?"
"Brad, you should be able to understand how I feel. A long life is too boring. And I am really old. Just like this drama, it tells us that life is an endless hopeless waiting. The world is absurd , the world is suffering.”
Dracula's persuasive words were temporarily blocked in his throat. He knows the boring suffering in a long life, otherwise he would not regard finding fun as a lifelong pursuit.
"If you and Perenal leave, I won't have any friends in this world anymore." Dracula said slowly after a long silence.
"You will have better friends." Nico smiled, "I don't have the unique advantages of a vampire, and my muscles and limbs are no longer healthy. What's more, I have lived for so long, and I shouldn't do what I should do. I’ve done everything, so I have no regrets.”
Dracula was silent, absently watching the comical performance of the two tramps on the stage.
The homeless man who had just taken off his belt and was about to hang himself hung his neck on the tree. But the old belt was too fragile and couldn't bear his weight, so it broke.
The old tramp didn't make it.
The audience in the audience laughed at the right moment.
Seeing this scene, Dracula also chuckled.
"Old guy, it's not that easy to die." He turned to look at Nico, "If I say that I am willing to help you protect the Magic Stone, at least half of the excuses you made before will be invalidated!"

Dracula thought of what he saw in the Mirror of Erised, and unconsciously raised a smile on his lips.

"Today's scene is really suitable for the occasion." He smiled happily, and the wrinkles on his face relaxed.
The tramp on the stage pulled up his pants and said to his companion, "Shall we leave?"

Dracula and Nico clapped together.
"What's the name of the play?" Dracula asked.

"You're right, the Defense Against the Dark Arts professor position you recommended to me is quite promising." Dracula said with a chuckle.
"Then why don't you hurry back to Hogwarts and finish your job properly, Professor Dracula?" Nico teased.
Dracula nodded slightly, turned into a dark moon, and disappeared in place as the shadow of a group of bats passed by.

The next moment, Dracula appeared on the window edge of the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom.
He leaned against the edge of the window and sat casually on the windowsill. A breeze blew, and the black-red cloak and silver hair swayed slightly.
At this time, Quirrell was still stumbling while reading the text.
Some of the little wizards under the podium were drowsy, some were minding their own business playing small games, and some clever ones were thinking of ways to tease Quirrell.
In the entire class, Hermione Granger seemed to be the only one who was still listening carefully and taking notes from time to time.

Dracula smiled slightly when he saw this and waved to Harry. Then he walked towards Quirrell on the podium.
"Professor Dracula, why...why did you suddenly come back?" Quirrell asked tremblingly.
"I originally just came back to see how you were doing," Dracula said, "but I really didn't expect you to teach the class like this. Isn't that lesson plan well written?"
Quirrell was trembling, hesitating for a long time and couldn't say a word.
"Forget it." Dracula shook his head helplessly and threw Quirrell out of the classroom. "Go and wash your troll until there is no smell, and then give it to Dumbledore to put in the checkpoint. The location below.”
