Nancy went home thinking so much about the strange incidence with Hellen. She even told herself: I am going to avoid this girl; she is so strange and am not a lesbian or bisexual!

Since she was feeling all tired with her legs aching, Nancy heated the water to bathe with at evening. She even went and bought some food as take away as she felt she cannot cook.

Nancy was relaxing chatting on her phone when she saw an incoming call which she accidentally accepted while chatting.

“Hello! I sent a car for you and you switched off your phone! Why did you have to lie to me?” A man asked. Nancy had even forgotten about him.

“I am so sorry; I was on my way coming when I began feeling dizzy. I fell on the road and decided to relax to see what it is. I must have passed out since when I regained consciousness, I was in some dispensary and everything in me had been stolen including my phone.” Nancy told the caller.

“No! bitch! You are just lying! Do you think you are the first bitch to lie to me?!” the caller continued.

“I am honest, right now I cannot get out of bed, I have malaria.” Nancy continued.

“Go lie to some stupid man you mother fucker! You ladies are fond of lying to us and eat our money. Wait until I lay my hands on you, you will regret being born a woman!” the man said and terminated the call.

“Oops!” Nancy said and threw the phone to her bed. She continued watching a series that was playing on her TV.

The following day, Nancy woke up feeling her entire body aching. She knew it was because of her previous day at the gym. She however prepared her child to go to school before coming back to the house to relax for a while.

At around 10 am, she went to the salon to have her hairstyle changed.

Nancy had a specific hairdresser as she hated when her head is touched by many hairdressers. She went straight to her. Luckily, she was free that morning.

“Hi, I want my hair done by 3 pm.” Nancy told the hairdresser.

“Come on! You know the least time you can go is 5 pm.” The hairdresser told Nancy.

“At 3 pm, I am going to the gym.” Nancy said.

“Let me see if you will be ready by then.” The hairdresser told Nancy.

Another got busy doing Nancy’s nails.

“You will make men go crazy about you.” The hairdresser told Nancy.

“Not just men, but women, eh! Yesterday a woman was bold enough to tell me that she admires me, can you imagine that?” Nancy said.

The hairdresser laughed and said, “Even me, if I was a lesbian, I would come for you. You have a nice shape.”

“There are many lesbians in the society, and some are openly admitting it. I once got seduced by a girl and thought that was weird.” The hairdresser said.

What followed was an experience I shall never forgot.” The lady said and paused.

“What about?” Nancy asked the lady.

The man, without a warning, grabbed the hairdresser by her dress and began pulling her outside the spacious saloon.

“You have been lying to me, eh! You thought I will never catch you? Today you are paying me my money you prostitute. You thought I will never find you!” the man said and gave the hairdresser a thunderous slap.

The hairdresser began to scream.

All the other women stood up to confront the man.

“You don’t know how it started, keep off!” the man said menacingly before giving the girl another slap.

“If you won’t tell us what is wrong, we are calling the police.” Another lady said.

However, seeing that she was beginning to nose bleed, Nancy did not wait to see what the man would do next. She grabbed a seat and hurled it towards the man. The man ducked off. The seat flew past him. Nancy grabbed a bucket full of water and swung it around with all her strength. The bucket landed squarely on the man’s chest.

The man released the hairdresser and went for Nancy. Nancy picked a thermos that was on the floor and hit the man with it as the other women began raining blows on the man.

“You cannot come to our salon and begin causing trouble!” Nancy told the man.

All about 10 women rained blows and kicks on the man until he turned and ran away.

“Satan! You should wait for her somewhere else not here!” Nancy told the man.

“I will kill her; I swear I will kill her!” the man said as he went away. Seeing that other people were beginning to come to witness the drama, the man walked away feeling ashamed.

“Gosh! That man is so mad with you, what did you do to him?” Nancy asked her hairdresser.

“Thank you for warding him away.” The hairdresser said.

“What happened?” Nancy asked.

“Just the usual girls’ staff, don’t worry about me.” The hairdresser said.

“Did you eat his money?” the woman who was talking about making love with a lesbian asked.

The hairdresser turned, looked at her and said, “After all, don’t all women chop men’s money?”

“Girl,” the woman said, “You better learn how to make your own money. Nowadays men have changed, he can even kill you over 100 shs.”

Nancy however laughed, looked at her hairdresser, addressed her by her name and said, “Mwanajuma, if you have to chop men’s money, be smart, if you want to know how, come and see me in private and come with tuition fee…”
