Chapter 48
HONEY IN THE CITY SEASON 2: CHP 4 – The perfect player
Nyokabi froze.
Before Johnston would move, a very tall lanky dark man with dreadlocks came into the room. He was wearing a pair of shorts and a black vest. He looked at Johnston, smiled and told him, “Sorry buddy, she is running away from me.”
“He wants to rape me!” the girl pleaded, “Please help me…”
“Can you two get out of my house before I throw you out.” Johnston told the tall man. “Rasta, take your girl out of my house. Have some respect how do you just bonce into my house like that?”
“I am sorry.” the rasta man said. He then violently pulled the girl outside. They could be heard struggling outside with each other.
“Gosh! Is this how you live here?” Nyokabi asked Johnston.
“Yes, we got used to. But this girl is just funny how do you just ran into another house? You can end up being raped there.” Johnston said.
“Eh! Eh! Let me go back to my house, I am happy to know where you live.” Nyokabi told Johnston.
Johnston escorted Nyokabi and then returned to the house. On his way, he bought some beans and chapati which he went to take for supper.
------
Johnston did not use any money he got from Nyokabi. He sent it straight into his account and saved it there. He confirmed from his account to know his balance. He wanted the money to reach at least 200,000 so that he can do something with it.
Johnston had numerous women he was having relationships with. Having not heard from Daisy in a while did not bother him at all. He continued with the other women who he knew he would afford to drive crazy for his own benefits.
Chatting with them, he always would make a woman feel special.
“Dudes, but getting to chop women’s money is hard.” Johnston told Goodluck as they met after several days at a restaurant where they were having supper before going home. He was not willing to cook. Goodluck also lived within the same neighborhood.
“With women, just drive her crazy with love and you will have won it. Keep giving them false hopes too, they fall for that big time. right now, I have a secondary school girl who I am fucking and she is literally stealing from her father to give me the money.” Goodluck told Johnston.
“I fear engaging with school girls, they might put you in trouble.” Johnston said.
“For me, I screw anything that comes. I have mastered the art of making them insane.” Goodluck said.
“You are on another league.” Johnston told Goodluck, “For me, I am still learning.”
“Right now, am about to purchase a plot in Kamulu. All the money I have gotten from women. I have paid for it some amount. Two plots of 40 by 80 that are just next to each other and they are next to a small road. Both to cost me 1.7 million.” Goodluck said.
“Gosh! How sweet!” Johnston said.
“But you must agree with me that fucking married women is dangerous. My recent affair with a married woman nearly sent me to an early grave.” Goodluck said.
“What happened?” Johnston asked.
“I went to fuck this woman in a certain guesthouse in Narok. Little did I know it was a set up. Her husband probably had known she has a lover. They are from Naivasha. Just when I was busy fucking her, some men came and began to break the door. The man was furious he called her by her name.
I wore my clothes very fast. Luckily, the windows of that guest house do not have grills so I just opened one, jumped from the second floor of the guest house, fell into some flowers and ran away as fast as I could. I don’t know what would have happened if I was caught.” Goodluck said.
“No wonder your name of Goodluck, you are lucky!” Johnston said, both men laughed hard.
“This is life, it is risky at times. “Goodluck said.
Just then, Johnston got a call from one of the ladies he was seeing. She was single mother who was living in Nakuru. Her name was Joyce.
“Let me talk to this woman.” Johnson said.
“Guess I have to go; I have something to catch up with tonight.” Goodluck said.
The two men parted with Johnson walking towards his house.
“Joyce, I will be coming tomorrow to see youl I call you?” Joyce asked.
“No, life is hard here and I have to work harder to make both ends meet. There is something we shall talk; I will come tomorrow evening.” Johnston said. it was a Friday and the following day Johnston was not going to work.
“Come tomorrow morning.” Joyce told Johnson.
“Ok, tomorrow is Saturday. I will come. I wanted to go to church but will come.” Johnston told Joyce.
“You can go to church on Sunday too and God will hear your prayers.” Joyce told Johnson. Johnston just laughed.
“Ok darling, I will come. What will you cook for me?” Johnston asked.
“Whatever you wish for.” Joyce said.
“Ok, get a chicken, and cook chapatis for me. I will send you the money don’t worry about where to get money to cook. Ok?” Johnston said.
“I would have bought, no problem but won’t mind you sending me some.” Joyce said sounding excited.
“Ok. I am walking right now and I fear someone might snatch my phone let me get to the house and I will call you.” Johnston told Joyce. However, he wanted to know who else was calling as he could hear an incoming call.
Joyce terminated her call.
Johnston was getting another call from a lady in Meru who was in at one of the colleges in Meru.
“Hi sweetheart.” Johnstone replied to her greetings.
“Eh! You now have to wait until I call you, have you gotten another sweetheart in Nairobi?” the lady, whose name was Kawira asked Johnston. She was annoyed with the fact that she was always the one to call. Johnston would only call her whenever he was going to visit her.
“No, sweetie, in my heart, it is just you and you alone.” Johnston told her.
“I called and your phone was all busy all through. How sure am I that you do not have another girl in Nairobi?” Kawira asked Johnston.
“Eish! Sweetie, just believe me. I will come to see you, if you doubt. On Sunday, wait for me, I will pass by there. I have some errands I will be doing in Nakuru and I will come over to visit you. I will even spend a night there.” Johnston told Kawira.
“Ok dear, I will wait for you. I wish you know how much I love you.” Kawira said.
“I love you too.” Johnston told her and terminated her call. By then, he had gotten to his house and he was opening slowly.
Johnston got inside his house and switched on the TV. He put the TV on low volume and on his woofer, he put on some loud reggae music, Lucky Dube album.
As he settled on his chair to listen to music for a while as he chatted with some girls, he sent Kshs 2,500 to Joyce. Joyce called immediately.
“Thank you honey, I will cook for you your favorite dish.” Joyce told Johnston.
“Chicken and Chapati please.” Johnston said.
“You are welcome, honey. I am on leave and I am idling around in the house. I also just moved to another bigger house.” Joyce told Johnston.
“Whoa! Why?” Johnston asked her.
“The previous place I was living had idle women who wanted to keep observing my life. I hate that.” Joyce said.
Johnston laughed and told her, “Ok, you shall pick me at the stage.”
“I moved to the Mawanga Estate, a few Kilometers away from where I was living. I am inside a nice gated plot with good security. In fact, I got a third-floor house, top floor overlooking the main road from my house.” Joyce told Johnston.
“Ok, I will be with you tomorrow darling. Let me do something first and I will talk with you later.” Johnston told Joyce.
Joyce terminated the call from her side.
Johnston on the other hand got busy chatting with numerous women he was dating, promising each undying love, making each of them believe she was the only one, and luring more and more into his trap.
