Chapter 54
n time.”
When they got to Athi river, Johnson took the wheel. He drove at a constant speed of 100 km/h, sometimes going up to 140, but other times doing slightly above 60 due to lorries on the road as his boss relaxed.
“Go past Mtito, we will eat our lunch in Voi then I will take over from there.” Samuel told Johnson.
“Yes, boss.” Johnson said.
As Johnson drove, he could see some funny looking flowers scattered across the savanna as it had rained some light rain. That was when he got the idea of how they shall get the flowers in the wilderness of Kajiado to use to convince the lady who was being targeted by Goodluck.

Finally, they got to Malindi town at around 6:30 pm.
“Here, take this.” Samuel told Johnson giving him Kshs 3,000, “Sort yourself where to sleep. I am going to get a hotel of my standard.”
“Don’t worry boss, in fact, you can just let me alight at Ngala estate, I will get a place around there to sleep.” Johnson told Samuel.
Samuel let Johnson alight at Ngala estate. As soon as Johnson stepped down, he crossed the road and headed for Wakesho’s place.
Wakesho lived in a house which had its own compound. Johnson got inside the compound, walked slowly to her door and knocked.
Wakesho had already gotten back home from work. She was waiting for Johnson. She saw him through the window walking and she smiled knowing what sort of a night she was to have with him. Wakesho stood up, walked to the door to open for Johnson.
“Welcome, darling!” Wakesho told Johnson excitedly while giving him a tight hug. Johnson gave her a tight hug, one hand around her back and another pressing her large buttocks. Wakesho had a medium height, slightly shorter than Johnson but with large buttocks and rounded hips. She was also so light skinned one would confuse her for being an Indian girl despite her being a pure Taita lady.
“Thank you, you become beautiful with each day. it is like you are getting younger.” Johnson told Wakesho.
“Stop flattering me. I will be 34 by next month remember.” Wakesho said as she picked Johnson’s bag. she took it to her bedroom.
“One can even say you are 24, the beauty in you, smooth skin, light skin I even think if we switch off the lights in a dark house, I will have you as a source of light. Eh! God must have created you immediately after having breakfast.” Johnson told her.
“Stop flattering me.” Wakesho said shyly.
“I am saying the truth. Look even at your nipples, who would think you have a 14 years old daughter?” Johnson said pointing at her nipples that were pressing her white vest that she was wearing.
“Imagine my daughter is now taller than me? You should see her when she comes visiting. She will be bigger than me. Even her body is growing bigger.” Wakesho said.
“May I see her photo? I last saw her photo…eeeh… I cannot even remember.” Johnson said.
Wakesho however served Johnson with some cold fruit juice first.
“What would you like to eat? Or should I just cook for you Wali wa nazi and some meat stew?” Wakesho asked Johnson as she got for him her smartphone.
“Yes, just cook that for me.” Johnson said. He looked at Wakesho’s daughter’s photos. Sure enough, she was slightly taller than her mother but not as big as her mother.
“Her biological dad was tall, very tall. He was 6 feet 5 inches tall.” Wakesho said as Johnson scrolled the photos.
“That man must have been very tall.” Johnson said feeling slightly jealous since he was not as tall.
“But he was a womanizer. I hated him for that.” Wakesho said.
“That is why I am faithful to you. I get many girls who admire me but I have chosen to stick to you. In my heart, it is just you.” Johnson pulled Wakesho gently to lie on his broad chest and told her, “In fact, I feel even more love for you now that you are a mother. Unlike single girls who pretend to be holy yet they aborted numerous times so that to pretend to be pure, I did rather date a single mother like you knowing that you chose to bring a life to this world rather than terminate it while still in the womb. God will reward you so much for that.” Johnson said.
Johnson’s words melted Wakesho’s
