Wh-where am I?
I find myself awake in a dark room. I can’t seem to remember what happened in the last few hours.
I seem to be lying down on a bed, quite a comfy one at that. I try to move my arms, but both of them are tied down with something.
I tried blinking my eyes to get them to adjust to the dark, but no matter how much I tried, it still remained dark. Then I realized that I must be wearing a blindfold.
I tried to call out for help, but my throat was hoarse. Unable to scream as it had already done damage recently.
“Stella…where are you?”
I whisper to myself quietly and loudly in my head, where I start to hear thumping sounds somewhere.
I hold my breath. Foolishly hoping that maybe the kidnapper won’t realize that I am awake and will leave me alone.
The thumping gets louder with it only stopping with a creaking from the door.
The thumping gets closure until I can feel a heavy breath over me.
I stay still as I can, as if a T. rex is standing over me like prey, but to no avail, they start to get closer to me.
I suddenly feel a scaly hand start to touch my chest. Then to my face, where it reached my eye.
I snapped them shut, protecting what little things I could, but then there was light passing through my eyelid.
I slowly open them and see who my captive was.
“I’m sorry to do this to you. It was the only way to prevent other thieves from stealing you~”.
Standing over me is a woman whom I have known for all my life. How can I forget her? Stella, my childhood friend who I knew through my adolescence to adulthood.
Her long red hair drapes to the side of my head. Her green eyes stare right deep into my soul, unable to escape her gaze.
“Right now, you may not understand. But this is for you, love.”
Her face is getting closer to mine. I shut mine as I remember what happened a few hours before.
Her face approaches my ear.
“My precious treasure.”
