#1027 - Final remarks

First, I want to apologize to everyone.

Speaking of "The Great Villain".

Actually, before writing this ending speech, I had a lot of things I wanted to say.

I really wanted to talk about my experience writing this book, some of the stories that happened while I was writing it, and the changes in my own life.

But when I actually typed out the words "End of Book Speech", I suddenly didn't know where to start.

So the following content may be a bit random, I'll just say whatever comes to mind.

First of all, about the ending of "The Great Villain".

To be honest, the outline for "The Great Villain" only went as far as Wei Changtian repelling the allied forces of the four nations under Fengyuan City, and there was no outline beyond that.

Even the previously existing outline had some deviations from the actual content written.

Without an outline, and with the map expanding too much and too quickly in the later stages, I felt like I couldn't quite grasp it, so I decided to quickly push the story to the ending after destroying the Qian and Hui nations.

You may have also felt the rush in this, as if something was missing in the middle.

Actually, I also know what's missing.

It's just that within the world framework of "The Great Villain", my imagination for such a story has basically been completely written.

In other words, it's not that I can't write more, but that I can't write anything new anymore.

If I had to add content, it would just be killing a few more emperors, marrying a few more wives, destroying a few more sects, and letting all the Sons of Heaven show their faces.

I didn't want to write repetitive content, so I quickly filled in the plot holes and pushed directly to the finale.

Oh right, about the truth of the world, the shackles of the First Rank, including the ending of everyone including Wei Changtian, these were all set up early on.

So even if I added more content, the ending wouldn't change.

Secondly, let's talk about the changes in "The Great Villain" from beginning to end.

If you've followed it from the beginning to the end, many people may have a feeling.

That is, the first half of this book is more like a 'cool' novel, but since Xiao Feng died, especially after the Yuanzhou City massacre, it seems like the style has changed, and it's a bit depressing.

To be honest, this change has a lot to do with the outline.

Secondly, it may be that I personally value "logic" and "rationality" too much.

This should not be difficult to understand.

Tragedy does make it easier to sublimate the plot, drive emotions, and make people remember.

In many cases, tragedy is also more reasonable.

But similarly, sending out knives (inflicting tragedy) is indeed very easy to lose readers and attract scolding.

According to the original outline, many supporting characters would actually die.

But when I wrote those plots, I still felt that I shouldn't add to everyone's troubles.

Indeed.

Life is already not easy, there is no need to make reading a novel so miserable and full of deep-seated hatred.

It's just that I also don't want to leave behind a novel that everyone forgets after reading it.

So, if you have ever had feelings of emotion, sigh, or inspiration when you see a certain chapter or a certain sentence, then it means that I have at least written a little bit of what I wanted to write.

About the results.

Compared to the first book I wrote, "The Great Villain" has more than tenfold increase in income and various data.
