♥ CHAPTER FIFTY''FOUR♥
Elisabeth.
Upon arriving at the place, the driver opens the back door for us all to get out of the car and I am surprised by the atmosphere of the place. There are several people at the door, flashes go off on me, several reporters trying to talk to whoever approached, including us. Most of them probe the guys as we walk part of the red carpet. Several questions are about me, who I am and what I'm doing with them. So much, my head hurts. We enter the party and there are several people, I am shocked by the number of people and smile covertly when I notice male gazes on me.
'' I'll kill them for looking at you like that '' Lorenzo exclaims, enraged, but I don't care, I'm having fun.
I see a well''groomed man coming towards us, he's tall and looks Asian, I don't know if he's Japanese or Chinese, so I keep to myself. He is white, has dark brown eyes and black hair, I can't deny that he is beautiful.
“Hello, Thompson gentlemen, how are you?” '' I am astounded by his perfect English.
"We're doing fine, Mr. Akiko, thanks for asking. Are you having fun? “Dylan speaks very kindly to him.
“Yes, I'm having so much fun at this beautiful ball. He smiles and then looks me up and down. "And who is this beautiful lady?"
I smile at him.
“She is our wife, the future Mrs. Thompson. '' Christopher answers very seriously.
I roll my eyes.
"It's a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Akiko. ’ I extend my hand to him. “My name is Elisabeth.
Immediately, he takes my hand, kissing the back of it.
“The pleasure is all mine, Elisabeth. '' I smile at me and I return it, only Thomas pulls me close to him, interrupting that contact.
"If you don't mind, Mr. Akiko, we're going to sit down, so excuse me.” He guides me towards the table.
“What the fuck was that, Elisabeth? Alex asks, very irritated.
I look at him, pretending not to understand.
'' What?
The five practically growl. I almost laugh.
“Don't play with us, Elisabeth! How can you flirt with a man in front of us? “Dylan probe, seriously.
“At least I do it from the front and not the back. I wink at them and sit down in the chair, crossing my legs.
“We thought you had forgiven us. Alex sits next to me.
“You're still a long way from being forgiven,” I snap, irritated. "Better leave me alone in my place."
A waiter approaches and offers wine, so I grab a glass, immediately raising it to my mouth. Wow, what a delicious taste! I run my tongue between my lips and take another sip. This is really good.
'' Don't drink too much, this wine is too strong and you might end up drunk. Thomas points out and I just nod, going back to drinking.
I look around and see several well''groomed men with beautiful young women.
“Are these men all criminals, or businessmen? I ask, not taking my eyes off all of them.
'' Some are businessmen and others are thugs, rapists, drug dealers, organ sellers, prostitute sellers, and so on.
I sigh resigned.
“A question.” I stare at them all. "Do you not care that women are sold as prostitutes?"
'' No. '' They answer in unison.
I roll my eyes.
'' And why not?
“The only woman we care about is you, no one else.
I snort at Lorenzo's speech.
'' Know. So I'm the only woman they care about, but they keep lying to me and making a fool of me. Great concern. '' I say in a mocking tone.
“We're sorry about that, Elisa, we're really sorry. Christopher just says.
Hell, they only have that to talk about?
Deep breath.
'' Where is the restroom? I ask, wanting to get away from the subject.
'' There. Lorenzo points.
'' Excuse me. I get up and walk confidently down the hall.
When I open the door, I'm glad there's no one there and walk towards the sink, letting out all the air I've held since I got here.
Why am I still moved by what they say? I shouldn't love them, but here I am, missing their kisses and touches. How long am I going to keep being such a beast like this?
Soon I hear the door open and I see it through the reflection of the mirror, surprising myself when I see that Larissa. I turn to her.
'' Hey.
'' Hey? Is that what you have to talk to me about? You know, if you hadn't woken up from your coma, I would still be with them. You should have died in that hospital! You spoiled my moment with them! “I can tell she's drunk just by smelling the alcohol emanating from her.
“Look, I don't care what you think of me. They even said it was just a no''strings''attached affair, you who fell in love with them and are now suffering, on top of that you blame me. Go fuck yourself! '' I unload, in the greatest tranquility.
“You're just a bitch who wants to use them!
I approach her.
'' I'll tell you something: you respect me because I don't give you that freedom, you whore! Put your little ball of shit down, otherwise I'm not responsible for what happens here. '' Rebato, very angry with the boldness of this girl.
“And what are you going to do, you whore? Are you going to hit me? Go ahead, bitch, because I'm not afraid of you. The only thing you are is a little bitch who couldn't have been raised right by Mom and turned into a slut.
I punch her in the nose, knocking her to the ground and lunge at her, hitting her face several times.
“S''s''s''get out!” “She tries to get me off her.
“You fucking bitch! '' I land a punch and then a slap very hard on his cheeks. "That's for you to learn, you piece of shit!" '' I only get off her when I see her all finished. “Next time you talk to me like that, you'll find death real quick.
I push past her to leave, fuming with rage. I even stop walking to calm my nerves, take a deep breath, and finally return to the table.
“You took your time. Alex says.
“There were a lot of people in the bathroom. '' I take my seat again, finding a variety of food, a nice distraction while this boring dance rolls on.
****
Some time passes and I watch Christopher and Dylan talking to a man across the room, I let out a yawn and only then do I realize that I'm lying on Lorenzo's shoulder, too tired to think of anything.
'' What it was? '' Question, worried.
“Nothing, I'm just really tired of this party. I answer, not meeting his eyes, eyes lingering on Larissa with her face all bruised, which makes me laugh.
“Something funny? Thomas straightens up to know.
'' I just remembered a joke Jessica told.
They nod and I sigh as Dylan and Christopher return.
“We can go home now.
“Glory to God for that. '' I get up. "Come on, I'm dead!"
Thank God this is all over!
