Wedding Gift

In a luxurious master's bedroom, Greta just finished her warm bath. She decided to go downstairs to wait for her husband. She is falling in love with him for real after she learned that he trust her too just like his son.

She also realized that it is really good to become Mrs.Alexander Tan. She can do what she wants and can go wherever she wishes to go, just like now. She just came home from a 7day trip to Lahore Pakistan, where she was treated very specially. She even met the Prime minister since she stood as the Ambassador of the Tan Group.

Unlike when she was still with her parents, even though they were very rich and powerful when it comes to their company's decision, her little voice is not heard. She's like a puppet doing everything to please her father. Although she did her best to become a good and successful daughter, in the eyes of her parents, her older brother is still the best. He's a handsome mafia boss by the way. He's cruel and heartless, but he's very gentle to her. He does everything her sister wishes him to do. He slept with countless women and does not feel guilty about it. That's her only brother, Reighley.

Now, as Mrs.Alexander Tan, she doesn't need to please her parents anymore. This is the thought she has in mind that's why she decided to stop scheming against Victor.

She realized that Victor never care about their wealth, which means he's not a threat. So she stopped her plans to kill him.

When she was about to descend the stairs, she remembered that all the gift given to them on their wedding day is yet unopened. She immediately went to the room beside the master's bedroom to look for the gifts. She has decided to open the gifts one by one even without the presence of her husband.

The first gift was a box from Montana Seafood Restaurant. It is a diamond necklace and a diamond brooch. It has also a privilege card for a lifetime free meal.

The one from the owner of Alisha Mall is a gold membership card and some expensive garments for both of them.

Chanel also gave them their brand's most expensive perfume. She proceeded to open all the gifts and was very delighted to see that everything is useful and very expensive.

When she reached the last gift placed underneath, she was even more overwhelmed. The gift has a golden card with an embossed logo of E.M.Fashion. Does it mean the CEO attended her wedding? She was very excited. But how come there's no dramatic entrance? Almost all the guests are expecting to see her because of the post on the E.M official page.

She opened the box immediately. It contains two E.M.Fashion privilege cards and 2 pieces of iPhone's latest model which is the iPhone 13 Pro Max. But it was personalized. Their names are engraved on each side with the date of their wedding day.

The phone comes with a 6.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 1284 pixels by 2778 pixels at a PPI of 458 pixels per inch. She was very happy. She is trembling while opening the card. She never expected that the owner will pay attention to her wedding.

She then started to read what is written on the golden card.

" Mr & Mrs Alexander Tan, please accept my simple gift.

Since I have personally checked your purchases from the first time I launched my brand, I was overwhelmed with your enthusiasm and great love for my designs. That is why I have decided to attend your wedding, but I don't like to reveal myself to all your guests. If you see a woman with a heart-shaped red birthmark on her left jaw, that's me. I hope we can become good friends and become business partners in the future. Best wishes! -E.M." out of excitement, she squealed and started to recall every guest she have met.

She brainstormed until her reverie returned to the day at the hospital before Esmeralda disappeared.

"Oh my !" She widened her eyes in extreme shock and disbelief. "E.M. stands for Esmeralda Martin! She has a red heart-shaped birthmark in her left jaw!"

Because of that discovery, the evil desire in her heart returned but was heightened to the highest level.

In a resort where Ryleigh is relaxing with two beautiful ladies on his side, he was annoyed to receive a phone call. He pressed the receive button without looking at the caller's name. He scowls thinking that it was from his subordinate.

"I have told you not to call unless you won the bid!"

"Eh, brother Ry! How are you? Can we meet tomorrow? I missed you already". It's Greta's voice acting as a lovely child to her brother.

"Oh wow, you missed me now after you became the 2nd wealthiest wife? It's been a month dear sister, but you only miss me now?" His voice was gentle and sounded jealous.

"Brother, I have something to tell you. If you want to become one of the wealthiest business tycoons, meet me tomorrow."

"Oh sister dear, what scam is that? Ok then, let's meet. I will give u my gift since I did not manage to attend your wedding."

The following day, Ryleigh and Greta meet in Montana Seafood Restaurant, where she has a privilege of a lifetime free meal.

"Brother, let's get to the point. If you want to become one of the wealthiest business tycoons, consider my idea." She said directly and revealed her discovery, including her big plan. He explained every detail of her plan.

"What?! My face is so handsome to let go!" Ryleigh was annoyed as he thinks his life would be boring afterward. He just agreed to his sister's plan because he want to increase his power and wealth. He must settle everything first. He want to prepare his men in the underworld so they could still follow his orders even after the operation.

On the mid-day of the following month, The Lim Family- Greta's family, the shareholders of the Lim Company, and everyone involved with Lim businesses received a huge blow. Their very talented and handsome President, Ryleigh Lim met an accident and died. The car he's driving fell off a cliff. The rescue team recovered the body, but it is unrecognizable that's why they cremated it.

They all mourned and wondered who will be the next President after Ryleigh's demise. After the burial, The board of directors appointed the daughter of Mr.and Mrs. Lim, no other than Gretchen Lim Tan, to become their President. Greta is so Happy. She can now apply her wisdom in the business world.

Several months have passed, Victor Tan safely arrived in Fermi Country. He, together with his bodyguards, checked in to "La Brea 5star Hotel" where they got the best hotel rooms and services. They are there to look for Esmeralda. In order to find her easily, they seek the help of local media.

"So Mr.Victor Tan, you came all the way from Centaurus City just to look for a certain girl named Esmeralda Martin?" the chubby interviewer confirmed.

" Yes madam." He said while he slightly sniffs. Then he turned to look at the camera directly.

"Esmeralda babe, I hope that when you watch this interview, please do contact me, this is my last resort to find you. I missed you so much." He said with teary eyes.

"Gees!!!! What a lucky girl." The female interviewer is envious of the girl. This very handsome man traveled from a faraway land just to look for her. She wished she could find a guy like him too.
